reached out to Victoria consumer forum for assistance but they have advised that they would not help unless it becomes public knowledge ( literally mean it has go to court or many people complain on them). I have disputed through my bank and it took 2 months to be credited in to my account.
I request every citizen to be very cautious about this company. Your money will not come back unless ur bank is good. Still you need to provide lots of evidence.

counterfeit, they look like rejects and nothing like they advertise. I think we have all been scammed. Even their phones are not working and they don’t respond to emails

Scammers Will Take Your Money – We paid just under $10K for furniture in December for delivery end of March. They deliveried only 1 item out of 7 with no explanation of follow up. Shoddy company - zero customer care – These guys are charlatans. Terrible Experience - DO NOT SHOP HERE – Our order of 26 items of $17k was placed 4th Sept. We appreciate the Port strike delayed the ability to deliver. We had 6 items delivered to us in Queensland, 5 were damaged or incorrect. HE committed to replace all 5 items and deliver the other 20 at the latest 14th March. pay any more money to this Company and so agreed to accept items to the value of $11k and foregoing the other items we had wanted. The delivery arrived 14th March. It was minus one coffee table (which was part of a set!) the dining table base and underneath were damaged and the 4 bedside tables were not soft closing (we had paid additional for this). The drawers of the bedside tables were also to have been painted inside, as they were on the Showroom floor. Again additional cost which we had paid. The drawers had been hand painted with a brush and not by a professional. One drawer was high gloss, the second drawer matt! The buffet which had been promised was further delayed. Further emails and phone calls, including to the Registered Owner of the Company (located in Brisbane) were going nowhere so we decided to fly to Melbourne to confront HIM, which we did on 20th March 2024. HE said he had not had a chance to look at our request for a replacement table and a refund, but he would by Monday 25th March. We visited the Showroom on Monday and he was supposedly out delivering items. In an endeavour to resolve the matter we went through the list of outstanding items with the female staff member who was most helpful. We agreed on a replacement dining table (which she said was in stock) and we still are wanting the buffet which HE had said was arriving into Melbourne on 14th March and therefore should be in stock. All we want now is the buffet which HE had said would be coming and a replacement of the damaged dining table and a refund of the balance of $4259.80. We rang 26th March and again today 27th March. HE is not answering us. We are having a very bad experience with this Company.
6TH APRIL UPDATE - I have just found that 2 of our 3 coffee tables have been spray painted and the paint is now cracking on the rubber like finish. This is un-acceptable and deceitful behaviour.

Moreover, their latest email to me threatens defamation proceedings, despite my review being based on truth and personal experience.
As advised by Consumer Affairs Victoria, I will be pursuing further action through VCAT and encourage others to exercise caution when considering this company.

After paying in full $4,270.25 on 6th April 2023 for a sofa that was to be delivered in 90 days; instead I have needed to constantly chase up for over 10 months for a sofa that didn't match the advertised product with no confirmation of actual delivery throughout, I requested a full refund.
Laverton Furniture agreed to process the refund within 5-7 business days, I have now spent over a month (on top of the already 10 months) chasing Laverton for a refund with no resolution in sight. Every time I email or call, Laverton confirms the refund will be in 24 - 48 hrs each time. This has yet to occur every time.
I have now needed to seek advice from Consumer Affairs Victoria and will escalate to VCAT if Laverton do not provide my refund as promised.
It’s now been a total of 11 months. My experience with Laverton has been incredibly frustrating due to their lack of communication, repeated delays, and failure to issue a timely refund. I strongly advise potential customers to consider other options before purchasing from Laverton Furniture.
Laverton may try to disregard this as being a false statement but I have all the evidence, documentation and recorded messages throughout this lengthy and exhausting experience.
Please feel free to message me if anyone wants my further personal experience, as no consumer should have to experience this.

He doesn't answer messages or phone calls any longer. This is a back yard operation and has no service, only shiny web pages. DON'T BE FOOLED like me, you're better off spending your money somewhere else. Fair Trading is my next stop.

quality we received was totally lit. Everything was beyond expectations. Secondly this sideboard was according to our budget, the price was exactly what we expected. Thanks to Ben who gave a little discount on that as well. Their customer service was appreciable. We will be going to buy more stuff for home from them in future. arrived in shipment but guess what we got your order but it's the wrong colour. Staff member back in January left did the order wrong they didn't check nor communicate at all I kept calling every day. I demanded a refund after me and my husband had enough. We got a refund but still wanted products but [Name Removed] once again dragged on another 2 weeks to find my product no phone call. The worst customer service...
