Would get a Five for performance, but reliability could be an issue
I purchased two of the LD 11 Maui Column PA systems for use in a family band two years ago, so they have been used enough times to give a realistic and useful review.
The bad news.
On arrival one had a rattle in the Sub woofer which went away after about an hour. DJ City committed to replacing it after the complaint. Even though I said it had gone away. They paid for shipping and they delivered a new one even before I sent the "damaged" one to them. Very good service!
After about 8 months of use (about 10 times in total (say 40 hrs), one of ...them started rattling and one of the three Sub Woofer speakers was diagnosed as damaged. The warranty had expired so I very reluctantly bought a replacement from DJ City ($54) and fitted it myself. Alarm bells started ringing! However that unit has performed very well since then. The other unit blew the mains fuse on switch-on about 1 month ago (after a total of about 60 hours of use over the two years). After replacing the fuse, the unit would not power up. I performed a few tests and found that the Power Supply board had failed. Being an electronic engineer, I got hold of DJ City and AVE (the suppliers) but due to the warranty being expired they wanted me to either send the unit to them in Melbourne or to take it to an agent in Perth, (AT MY COST).
