From start to finish of the process LD TOTAL and the team were brilliant. We got a landscape package with our land, Kaley came out to plan it with us and she was great, knowledgeable and professional. Christian installed our front garden for us on 40 degree day, and was more then happy to stay back at the end of the day and give us tips about maintenance etc. The office & admin staff have always been quick to respond and polite. Fantastic effort from all involved at LD Total. Highly recommend.
Really frustrated. LD total were contracted by our property developer to fence our lot. For 3 weeks they told me "it should be done this week" but we still had no fence when we moved it. A week later they finally came, but only did half the job stating they'd be back in two days to sheet. They were supposed to be here at 7:30 this morning and it's now after 9 with no sign. I have 2 dogs I'm needing to keep locked inside. I cannot express how annoyed I am with their disorganisation and lack of care.

Absoloutely delighted with our new Lawn that’s just been laid by Brett, such a nice job! Also love the work out front that was done by LD total with the help & planning from Nathan, great Job! Also big Thanks to David for fitting us in at such short notice! Well done guys

AVOID AT ALL COSTS
Worst, most unprofessional company I've ever had the misfortune of dealing with. I don't normally bother writing reviews, even for poor service, but this mob is so bad I had to say something.
I was forced to deal with this company through a land sale package I signed when I purchased my new home. They were contracted to provide lot fencing and front yard landscaping.
First off, they don't return phone calls. Good luck reaching the person in the office you're trying to speak to, because often they're not there or won'...t answer. I was told "we will call you back" 9/10 times I called them, and would never recieved a call back. I often had to call several days in a row before I was lucky enough to speak to the person I was trying to get in touch with. Installation on my fencing and side gate was delayed, they booked a date to do it, then just never showed up. Didn't even call to let me know they weren't going to do the job. Rebooked again to install the fencing, and they didn't show up for that either. This delay meant I had to keep paying rent and storage fees because I couldn't take hand over of my finished house until they eventually got around to installing the fences.

Worst Experience. BEWARE
This is the most daunting experience of the whole home building process. If you think your builder is giving you stress, wait until these guys do your lawn.
We got landscaping package with the purchase of our Lot and LD Total had monopoly.
First, it took them 5 months to install the lawn, the office girls are rude, except one ([name removed]). If I had a choice, I would have pulled the pin after my first call to them, I saw the hand writing on the wall. I've given feedback to my estate developers; they should have atleast 3 landscaping c...ompanies for people to choose from, that will definitely make these guys to sit up and appreciate any customer that goes with them. In fact, they think they are doing you a favour by installing a lawn that you already paid for through the estate developers. We have a corner lot and experience sand encroachment, we had to buy a blower/vacuum and use it almost everyday for 5 months. We submitted our application and was approved on October 10th, 2017, we didn't have consultation until March 2nd, 2018, installation date was 19th and 20th March, 2018. (Our home was built in 5 months, from signing of contract to handover). On the day of installation, they broke a window, which was reported via email, once again, they didn't bother to reply until I copied the estate developers in another email after one week. They still are not taking responsibility for the broken window. My advise to you, who's reading this, better ask your estate developers to nominate another landscaping company or better still, get a voucher from them and choose a landscaping company of your choice.

Not happy but not mad
Was expecting more from the company. Our block came with a landscaping package we were never contacted by them about it we had to contact them and got two different answers from two people one person said we had to wait till handover one person booked us in. Had the meeting and the landscaper didn’t give us plant options and really gave us no ideas on what to do with the front basically just suggested the same thing everyone on the street had. Square patch of grass, tree in the middle, plants around the edge. We really were let down with the la...ck of creativity. Plants are still alive some starting to die because the weren’t planted properly and soil wasn’t really done properly they just added mulch on top of the sand. Any way 2 months after having it done I receive an email saying they can do our landscaping and providing me with pictures of plant selections.... clearly there is a lack of communication because we have had it done already and annoyed I never was given this plant selection in the first place.
Lazy, lack of communication
Landscaping is apart of our package with our estate. Move in date got closer and closer. Had a missed call from them about 2 months ago, called them back and they said they don’t know who called and who ever it is will call back. Waited... 2 weeks prior to moving in I started to wonder .. when is our back fence being installed? When is our landscaping being done!? Emailed them. Got a response from one person saying nothing could be done till handover and got another response from someone different booking us in? Lack of communication there on t...heir behalf. Have our consult and the landscaper had no great ideas didn’t show us what they wanted to do just said a heap of plant names that I don’t no. Left feeling like we could do a better job ourselves. Pay for something we upgraded (last week) and get told that they won’t start landscaping till mid January. And that back fence can’t be installed until hand over. I have a dog that I won’t be able to bring with me into new home until new fence is put in, can see straight into house behind us. I don’t understand the delay. Will be moving into a home in one week with no fence and a sandpit out the front when we have had this block of land for over a year now and they were still to unorganised to have the landscaping sorted by the time we moved in. Never was told the budget, have to remove sand ourselves... don’t you think that if I was able to remove sand myself I would do the landscaping myself to, isn’t apart of landscaping removing soil. Would not recommend this company to anyone.

Landscaping and Reticulation
We just had Dan from LD Total do our front reticulation and landscaping.
He was courteous, polite, kept me informed on what he was doing, and he worked like a Trojan, non-stop, in cold and rainy conditions.
The finished landscaping was exactly to plan and looks fabulous! We even had neighbours come over and say what a great job he did! He really did a fantastic job!
Incomplete job and poor communication
We had a fencing and landscape package as part of our purchase of a block in Sienna Wood. LD Total is contractor used by the land developer in that regard.
With the fencing package, fencing is provided to all unfenced sides of the property. A gate or return panel is not included in the package but will be provided at your cost. Perfectly fine, as that is made clear in the fencing package.
We promptly ordered and paid LD Total for a return panel at the same time that we submitted our claim for the fencing. The claim is to be submitted no l...ess than 8 weeks prior to your intended occupation date. Again, this was fine for us as it meant it would be completed by the time we move in. However, when it came to installation, the fencing was installed without the return panel. When I telephoned LD Total the next business day, their notes recorded the work as complete. The fencing consultant said she was unsure why it was not installed but would get right on to contacting their fencing supervisor and get back to me. The fencing consultant got back to me 3 days later, which I wasn't pleased with, but told me it would be installed by the end of the very next day (Friday). It was not. Nor had anyone attended to start it. There was no communication. Come Monday (today) in following it up, and despite requesting that the return panel be installed as a priority to other jobs, having reiterating that we have moved in and so our belongings and dog are left unsecure without the return panel, the fencing consultant tells me that it will likely be done by tomorrow but if not then the day after. No explanation is offered as to why it hasn't already been done nor why it can't be done that day nor why a guarantee can't be given that it will be done tomorrow. It is only one fixed panel after all which requires only one person to do it and, presumably, LD Total sourced all the materials for it months ago soon when we ordered and paid for it. I have read other negative reviews of LD Total when it comes to the landscaping package, so I'm not looking forward to that experience when my landscaping is to be done in the next two weeks.
Product OK. Room for Improvement
Have a property in a Perth southern suburb estate where front landscaping by LD total included in lot package. As already landscaping front, out of ease asked for a quotation for backyard works.
Lady sent out for initial consultation and quote was great - friendly, professional, provided advice and quotation. Was told required to pay for works (astro turf, mulch, edging and bluestone) up front and that invoice would be provided within 2 business days. Invoice received one week later.
Once paid, front and back yard works booked for a Thursday...
Shocking Service and over priced!
My dealings with this company has been shocking. They simply do not address any issues and offer a very poor service. The initial consult I had was terrible, extremely rude and offered very little information. As I am not a landscaper a little advise would have been nice. As this company has been contracted by the estate they do not seem to care about the owner at all. They are also ridiculously expensive. They installed the incorrect unit after I paid extra for an upgrade (which was not necessary), still waiting for my refund.
