Bought an LDV Trailrider had for 3months. Often at 40-60ks it makes a barking noise, thinking from the back end. Its been for its 5,000 service and they say nothing is wrong.??
Can u adjust the headlight angle the t60 I’m driving is attracting a lot of high beams from oncoming traffic who mistake the headlight for a high beam due the high angle
We are not to sure sorry
I have the same issue with lights too high but the dealer tells me they are auto. Still need to adjust!
yes you can, 12mm bolt head on the back of the auto light housings. Standing on the side of the ute looking forward, turning clockwise will adjust them down.
My LDV t60 sometimes in hot conditions won’t start, the engine cranks over very fast but doesn’t start. If we get out of the vehicle and lock it and go back say 10 minutes later it starts as it should, no issue if driving around town in the heat say 39 degrees temp gauge doesn’t move it’s only if you turn the off and try starting it again
I have had temp issues as well and the car has started and then stopped on a number of occasions, what has your dealer said?
I haven’t taken it in as there is a 2 week wait for checking codes, what a load of crap it’s a 3 minute job. I spoke to a dealer in Bendigo the mechanic said he can read the codes if I call in next time we are around he suspects it’s an electrical issue regarding the the push button start. While we were in Mildura they couldn’t do a thing for nearly 3 weeks and were very unhelpful, the Ballarat dealer is the same and unfortunately we live in Dimboola
Hi does anyone know at night 2021 LDV T60 Pro does the lights on the steering wheel come on example if you want to answer your phone for example
Does anyone no where to place a second battery thanks
Hopefully someone knows. Just got my ldv t60 seems good except I can't change modes in my air-conditioning. No matter what I do it just comes from the front windscreen. I can't get it to come through the front vents. Anyone got any ideas?
Hand it back I had the same issue + many more issues they pass me onto Hyundai service and they simply told me that’s how it is.
Hyundai told me that’s it’s an LDV a cheap Ute it’s not a Hilux it’s a $35k Ute.
I’m trying to legally reject the Ute and it back for a full refund.
Thanks for the reply mate, the one we test drove worked fine but mine doesn't blow the air through the vents. Hopefully it's an easy fix
Hey Darren, Please keep us up to date with your claim. I think there will be a lot of interest with your particular case.
Looking at Buying Dual cab - Im worried about Quality - LDV offer a long warranty BUT I dont have time to be waiting for repairs Constantly - if that was the case. Any feedback fro. pwners would be appreciated - I travel 60,000klms per year . Always Purchased Dual Cab Isuzu.
I am having troubles with mine, and have not heard anything back from LDV in Casey for a couple of weeks now. They are all over you to sell the vehicles but then we haven’t had any support.
Many thanks for the feedback - this is what concerns me the most.
Guys cars have problems, dealers have problems
I own a T60 Pro manual. It will be 3 years old in July
Best $30k I ever spent. The Hilux in the same trim level was $64k
It hasn’t been faultless. The electronics can be a tiny bit funky. The clock needs changing every two months.
Mechanically... it has been absolutely superb. Every time I get in The Ute does what it says on the box.
At 39,000 kms I’m really wondering if I should drive it into the ground. It’s got that feeling that it’s a very well put together Ute. I’ve had it in deep river sand with the original highway tyres and just dropping the pressure it sailed through deep sand with a load of gear and 4 people
The economy is great. The ride is great. I’ve come to love driving it. Sure it’s not got class leading power. My old Landcruiser Troopy had about 110 kw . Same as my Rodeo
I know mates with all kinds of vehicles. Rangers that have had 3 diffs replacements
Super happy with my T60 . I would recommend one with a 6 speed manual
How do you mute the horn when remote locking is done for LDV T60 mega tub 2020?
Does the ac and other switches have light during night time? Its very hard to locate switches during night.
Go into the vehicle settings on the control screen, you can turn the horn off for the locking. If the dash lights are set to the lowest brightness setting, the AC and other controls will not be lit, turn the dash light brightness up one notch.
Not sure about the mega, but I know the TR2 steering wheel controls are not illuminated at all.
Thanks for the info- All sorted.
Does anyone know the current version number for the standard head unit please
I had many versions and worked closely with local LDV and they passed on my bug reports to the guy in Australia who was doing the coding of head units. We got to version 7.5.3-OL-02-L-360 which is somewhat stable. It still freezes and has issues interfacing with iPhone 7, 8 & 12 Pro Max. The hands free is shocking! I gave up on LDV and Ateco early a year ago and so I don’t know if they have progressed any further
Can you adjust the default volume on the radio as set at 10 which is loud. Asked the dealer today and he said no???
Just been 4wd, changed dial back to 2H but won’t go back to 2H staying in 4wd any quick fix 3hrs from home and dealers all fully booked don’t want to drive home doing 60km , Thks
To change to 2H the car should be in neutral, Then turn the knob from 4H to 2H. the 2H will blink for some time and it should stop. Have you tried this method?
