Great speeds and reliability

I used Leaptel for over a year with i was in a Opticom neighborhood and i have absolutely no regrets. The service was so fast and stable.
Their support staff are super friendly and quick to respond in the live chat during initial setup if you need any help.

Great ISP with wonderful staff

I've been with Leaptel over a year now. I recently moved into my new property and the set up was seamless.
Both connections are Opticomm and have not had any issues.
- Internet is fast when I am browsing, playing games on consoles or watching on my smart tv.
- The staff are always there to help with any queries.
- Great value for money.

Fantastic Company

Leaptel have been fantastic.
Currently on FTTN, so speed is dictated on cable distance from the node.
(Its worth noting that NO RSP can improve the speed dictated by the line)
Connection reliability is also not an RSP issue, but they are the contact and Leaptel are always great to deal with, always clear, concise language on the phone and keep me updated well. Show reply

Excellent ISP, worth every penny

PROS:
- Service just works, I booked my connection in advanced and on the connection date, was already connected after power cycling and modem configuration.
- Have not experience any internet drop outs or slow down of any kind.
- Matt is very nice, knowledgeable and helpful on whirlpool.

Just works, unable to fault

Switched to Leaptel on Christmas day. Was with Aussie broadband 100/40 and once the 6 month honeymoon period was over bill went to $109 / month. Moved to Leaptel same speed $84.95 per month and have found service to be great. Speed always fast with good pings and no drop outs or outages Show reply

Excellent phone service from local Aussies

Decided to go with Leaptel since they have Aussie phone support and are currently running a discount for 12 months on NBN50, making it cheaper than majority of other telcos. The guys on the phone were really helpful explaining possible complications from not formally cancelling with TPG (nightmare company) and letting the credit card expire. Once HFC and modem was installed, wifi immediately worked. Got downloads speeds of 49.6mbps and upload of 8.6mbps. Modem was delivered quickly in 3 days. NBN appointment took a bit longer but the guy turned up as promised. Show reply

Quality service and support

I've never had a experience in signing up to an internet service as easy with Leaptel. After trying out another provider that I experienced a number of issues with, Leaptel signed me up and fixed all the problems I had. Competitive prices, amazing customer service over the phone and the ability to have a casual chat at the same time. I would definitely recommend anyone who does not like their current provider or is looking to try something different, definitely give Leaptel a go. Show reply

Excellent service...highly recommend

I am really pleased that I changed to Leaptel when I moved into my apartment in Alphington. Its not NBN services, is via Opticom. I had a lot of trouble whilst trying to use my old modem and the Techos at Leaptel were easy to make contact with and very easy to understand, and patient.
Leaptel could have insisted on another charge which involved Opticom but, after I put my case re this in writing, the response was immediate re their willingness to review the issues involved and then the phone call, the very next day, informing me that that fee will be cancelled, was happily received.
I look forward to a long and happy relationship with this local service provider.

4+ years of Outstanding service

I joined Leaptel 4+ years ago when I went in search of a Australian owned and operated internet provider, after calling many many providers I found Leaptel and I have never looked back!!
Instant transfer to the area you require, never any long hold times.
Always exceptional customer service.
Call backs! IF something needs further investigation how great is it when someone says they will call you back is it to actually get a call back?! This is almost unheard!

Much better access to the internet

Amazed at the improvement of my access to the internet with this ISP..struggled with iiNet and Internode for 6 years with faulty service, high cost and insufficient tech support. (We are using a fibre optic input via Opticom.) Show reply

Great service, keep it up

Recently having selected Leaptel as our provider we were looking forward to having few issues or none at all. However, being not very knowlegeable about connecting up the system we ran into several issues.

Leaptel broadband and customer service is great

I am writing this review for Leaptel because I have found their broadband service in Armstrong Creek, VIc to be excellent. Whenever I have had issues, I can always call and speak with someone straight away. Today, I needed to speak with someone about resetting the router and received the help I needed quickly. Definitely recommend LeapTel

Signed up with LeapTel 2 months ago and we couldn’t be happier.
Customer service is very good. They are helpful, especially the woman of Syrian background who talked me through my modem settings and made it all work. I forget her name but she really knows what she’s doing.

Fast Speed & Activation 100/40

Since signed up.. did around 10+ speed test in last 2 weeks, So far I have been getting 106mbps / 39mbps+ speed. tried few ISP's but this is best so far. I signed up for 100/40 on $15 discount for 12 months promo. Show reply

If you're not with them, switch NOW

Brilliant customer service, which is based in Melbourne. We had been with a few other providers and could not be happier with Leaptel. When issues arise, they're quick to resolve. Do yourself a favour and switch to them, we have been with Leaptel since 2018 and have not looked back. Show reply

Wow, I seriously wasnt expecting this

I was sceptical with joining and i wasnt sure if the service was going to be as good.
I have to say i was very very impressed with the service and the 3 people i spoke with.
Nisura from the tech team was super helpful, thank you for being a champion mate.
I tested the speed and it was as perfect.
Fingers crossed it stays that way ;)

Perfect customer service

We were unable to connect to the internet. We called leaptel and Antonia was very helpful, but the issue was not resolved, but promised to call back the next day with a resolution. Just minutes after our call Nisura calls back and after many attempts we found out the brand new modem we bought from jbhi had a faulty Ethernet cable. Issue was resolved. I really appreciate the teams patience and professionalism, especially as we were getting. Our internet is now 4 times faster than we had before!

Quick wifi activation as promised at a cheap price with no lock in contract!!!!

Rob is THE GUYYY!! He heard and understood every bit of what the customer wants and was very quick and prompt with his service. Infact I was given a lot of knowledge about how a router works and other things around it to get a better understanding. I was so tensed about my wifi not working as I had work from home and Rob promised to get my wifi working by Friday eod and here I am appreciating his hard work as he made it possible. Great reliable service and excellent team

My most recent interaction with them was due to user error, and Nisura was so kind in assisting me and found the problem straight away. He was able to fix it without needing me to do much.
