Excellent Support Staff

I called the Leaptel support team for assistance with setting up my new service with them. As I had just moved into a new unit, I was not familiar with my network infrastructure. I spoke to Niz who told me to send him some photos so that he could figure what my issue was. About 4 minutes after sending the email, Niz called back with the solution. I was amazed at how prompt the response was and their excellent troubleshooting skills. Show reply

Initial set up of modem

The modem did not want to talk to my computer, with Rob's, Antonia and Freddy,s help they talked me through the problem.Team were very understanding, kind and so helpful, highly recommend OptiCom & Leaptel

Brilliant customer experience

Best decesion ever!!

I was living in a Meriton apartment (Sydney) that had adviced me to only go with occum internet provider, 2 years I struggled with internet speed especially since working from home. I moved to another Meriton apartment and this time I took a chance and opted for Leaptel. Best decision ever, the setup, customer support and most importantly the internet speed has been awesome. Leaptel Customer Support was Exceptional

5 stars simply because support staff were excellent (shout out to Rodney). You'll have issues anywhere but here i felt they actually had my back.

Issue was of no fault of Leaptel (it was LBNCo infrastructure) and i was updated weekly, sometimes daily. it felt that leaptel was chasing LBN for answers and update the whole time and working in my interests. Show reply

Total satisfaction!

I have been with Leaptel since gaining NBN connection and have been impressed with the service provided. I have always had a prompt response to any problem and help is provided in a friendly and intelligent manner. I recently had a problem with my modem signal degrading and talked to them about the problem on Tuesday. My new modem arrived today (Thursday), ready to be plugged in. Excellent Service

I continue to be impressed with the Service and Followup from the Support Staff at Leaptel.
Always professional, friendly and extremely helpful. This is a 1st class service being offered by local people.
My Service has been flawless - until NBN staff started interfering with infrastructure (in the street) - now there’s regular dropouts, but Leaptel Support are going above and beyond to try and battle with NBN. Show reply

Slow internet issue resolved - thanks

Wireless speed was slow, phone chat with Leaptel resolve the issue in quick time. All is good and can now use multi room downloading. Problem was associated with wiring connections and now we have fast ethernet and wireless. Thanks for talking us through and for your patience. Show reply

Customer since 2018. - now on a 1000/50 plan

I'm a customer since 2018 with a 1000/50 plan since 2020 Sept and located Jordan Springs NSW (with 5 heavy daily users). A regular speed test via my tv box app at 5.30 pm is around 700+/45+ Mbps and at times 650+Mbps by 8pm. The service outages were easily resolved (in less than an hour) and no major issue that I can find. I pay $149 a month and I can't find any cheaper for the service. Also, I'm not keen on risking another ISP with unproven record. Overall, I'm happy with the service. Show reply

I have had multiple relocations for myself and my parents and Leaptel were so helpful every time.
I have had numerous dealing with Jon and Rob and their knowledge is outstanding, and fixing issues was no problem to them.
I have, very reluctantly, moved to another ISP for 12 months, but will definitely move back when the contract is over. Show reply

Good service

I was having trouble setting up my internet as I was moving to a new place. Jon helped me set up everything and he was so patient! Jon explained which cable is fabric and how which port I should plug. It was so much frustration without internet and I couldn’t work from home. Now we are just so happy it is solved. A big thank you to Jon and the customer service team! Now I will be testing the internet and see how fast/stable it is.

Incredibly prompt service

Incredibly fast response time from connection enquiry to phone call to confirm all details. Rob from Leaptel was onto it and went through all details before sales office hours closed for the evening. As a result, I will receive my modem in next to no time. Has definitely taken the stress away of setting up a connection which I am sure we have all been through before when moving to a new residency. 4 Years of Service and Going Very Strong!

Leaptel has always gone above and beyond with every interaction I have had. I have gone through many ISPs in the past and only Leaptel has been able to provide exceptional support and service compared to the former ISPs 5 years ago. I can only recommend Leaptel to everyone I meet. Just today I've upgraded my plan from 25/5 to 100/40 and the service that Blake provided made it absolutely seamless while answering the many questions I had with no issues. I want to give Blake a personal shout out and everyone in the team for their continuous service, please give everyone a pay raise hahaha.

Excellent service and consistent internet speed

I have been with Leaptel for a year and if the service continues as excellent as it is, I will never move to another ISP. They deliver on their speed guarantee and the customer service is friendly and quick. I am on a 50/20 Mbps plan but they have upgraded me to a 100/20Mbps plan for six months at no extra cost for being a loyal customer. I highly recommend leaptel. Thanks Show reply

Avoid - Poor Customer Service

I've been with this company for years enduring less than agreed speeds. Now that I'm about to relocate, won't pro rate my charges after being late in my cancellation for just 2 days.

There are better service providers out there to spend your hard earned money on.

Fast and reliable fibre broadband service plus excellent customer service

I have been with Leaptel for almost 2 years now, on my Opticomm fibre to the home service. I am currently on the 50/20 mbps plan and am very happy with the speed and reliability. They have put me on there 100/50 mbps service for 6 months for no additional charge to make it even better. On the very few times that there has been a problem it has been easy to contact them and the issue addressed quickly. A local company and very highly recommended. Show reply

Consistent and Reliable

I've been a customer for 1 year now out in the Eastern Suburbs.
Excellent consistent speeds on NBN Fibre to the Curb.
Great communication for planned outages etc
Setup was super easy, never had a technical issue.
Good ping for online gaming.
Very happy and highly recommend

Decent Speeds, Even in the Heart of the CBD. Outstanding Customer Service

My internet speed is good, rarely dropping to intolerable levels even during high throttle traffic. Any outage or planned works you are informed of and almost all of other drops were fixed by a simple router reset. Leaptel continues to deliver outstanding customer service, with intelligent people who will help you through any issues I have had. While not always the cheapest, I always feel gratified when having to contact them, speaking to someone who can clearly communicate and is a local. They respond promptly and will actually listen to you, not hesitating to offer you a better deal or suggesting other options. Anyone who may be hesitating can simply look on their website. When was the last time a company actually GUARANTEED a speed? Show reply

Worst Customer Service

Just contacted billing team to change my plan as current speed is not enough. I am already paying $79.95/Month which can give me speed of 100/20 but they refused to change my plan unless I pay extra.
On their website they are advertising same price. This is how they are treating their existing customer who is with the company for 24 months. They kept me waiting for more than 30 minutes just to say sorry.
You guys seriously need to think about your business model.

Was good from the start

Been with them for a few years. Often were efficient and supportive. Was good whilst on Opticomm then we moved house now on NBN. They refused to offer existing customers the same price they offer to new customers. We continue to experience frequent daily service drop-out issues which eventually led us to switching the service to Aussie Broadband. I was very clear with the service end date as I was to start with Aussie from 1 March, but they disconnected my service just after 12am 28 Feb. I already paid up to 28 Feb so they should not have disconnected my service prematurely. Lack of care or consideration for existing customers. Shame as I was happy supporting a small Aussie company.

Reliable, Great service, consistent speeds

Ive been with leaptel for 2 years and haven't had a single problem, staff is very friendly! ive dealt with lachlan multiple times and hes always had a solution to my problems and is so good at what he does. You never wait on hold for that long as well which is a bonus. the speeds are always consistent and fast. very happy with my service Show reply

Asked to downgrade my plan by email to the Support team - Senthoo was very efficient, actioning my order and replying to my email within 30 mins.

My internet has worked almost flawlessly for over a year, was great while I worked and studied from home during COVID.

Reliable & excellent customer service

Been through 3 internet providers and Leaptel is by faaar the best. Fast speed and rarely have a problem. Perfect nbn hfc connection

Leaptel does fix connection speeds im on hfc and had issues Leaptel fixed it now i can stream 4k movies on 4 devices and gaming online no buffer or lags or drop outs. Im happy im staying with leaptel Show reply
