Battery case fell apart

My P7 worked well for a few months, nice & bright. However, I was having trouble turning it on - The battery case had disintegrated, rendering the torch useless.
Would not recommend.

The best torch you can have

I have many torches in my live, but LED Lenser is the best torch, and the light is very strong, stronger then any other torch.
I get this torch from work 11 years ago, at the cost of $259 in 2011, and it is still working. I'm using it every day, and it always worked. I have never any problems. The best torch you can have. I bought another one for my son 5 years ago for $156 , and again there is no problem. Use it, and don't abuse it. Show details

Great torch for as long as it works

My brother, father and I all bought our own P7 torches. After a couple of years only 1 out of the 3 is still working. Expected more than that for the price. Show details

Magnetic charger failure

I have had the P7R for just over a year and found it to be reliable until having recharged it a number of times I find the magnetic contacts have little power and keep falling off the two contact points. Most annoying and disappointing considering the purchase price. Show details

P7 battery case fragile. On switch failed

P7 While the performance is good the battery case and switch poorly designed. I have 4 in service over 6 years 2 failed in 2 years. Battery case fell to bits. Show details

its not better than any $20 torch

I bought p7r core for $160 with discount . its obviously not better than any $20 torch . i needed a torch not computer. since i bought it around 8 months ago , i couldn't use it properly , its very complex to use it. I wasted my money . Show details

Can't live without it

I've owned a large number of torches over the years for work and the Lenser P7r is the best, I like that you have a spot or spread beam. I work in roof voids and for most jobs the spread beam lights the whole roof void up.

Variable beam
1000 lumens it's very bright
It's pocket sized and light
7 year warranty

It doesn't have a flat base so it doesn't stand up. I have to carry a spare torch to do this.
I can't exchange standard 18650 batteries, it needs to be recharged on it's charger

I highly recommend it. Show details

Absolute waste of money, owned 2 and both had switch failures early in their life. Great torch for the short time it worked but only got a 3 months of use. Warranty seems non existent and after the 2nd failure I didn't even try. I have collegues that have had similar experiences so I am baffled by the 4/5 star ratings.
