17k's a day, (recharged every night,) for less than 2 weeks and already the Battery level seems to be dropping a little faster than at the beginning. This is the Upgraded Battery that is supposed to be good > 80+k.s!! No way! I believe it would do the suggested 32 even if you had to use the lights for a couple of hours.
The Seat is tipped slightly back which makes it uncomfortable because I really want to push/pedal. We tried to adjust it but the nut...

Dear sarinozi,
Thank you for purchasing a Leitner electric bike and I’m glad to hear it’s nice and that you are already using it to commute....
Read moreRegarding battery range: The range estimate for the upgraded 16ah battery is 32-80km as there are many factors which affect the range, such as pedalling, hills and total weight on the bike. To get the best possible battery range it is recommended to follow the instructions in the manual, for example inflating the tyres to the recommended pressure and making sure the brakes are not rubbing against the discs. I am sorry to hear that you didn’t get a response regarding the seat issue. We would love to assist you to adjust your seat to a comfortable riding position. For any concerns, please contact our friendly customer service team at sales@leitner.com.au or call 1300 856 725 Regarding the motor activation by pedalling: The motor will only accelerate to approximately 25km/h which is the current legal speed limit allowed for ebikes in Australia. If you go faster than 25km/h the motor won’t activate. When the speed drops beneath 25km/h to around 23km/h then the motor will switch back on if you pedal. Sorry to hear that you feeling that the bike is “slowing” when going down a hill. It may be an indicator that the brakes are rubbing or the tires not inflated to recommended pressure. It is best practice to have the bike professionally serviced to ensure it’s setup correctly. Some information regarding the power and weight of electric bikes: Electric bikes for use on public roads are limited to a power of 250W and the Berlin maxes out the 250W – unfortunately it was any more powerful you couldn’t ride it anymore legally on public roads. For customers who prefer high power and don’t need to ride on public roads we recommend the Leitner Fat bike with its 500W motor. If light-weight design is important we recommend the Leitner Aria light-weight folding ebike and the Leitner 700c Ultimate electric bikes. I hope this information helps and please contact our customer service team at sales@leitner.com.au or call 1300 856 725. We would like to assist you with all your enquiries ensuring that you have a great experience on your Leitner Berlin electric bike. Have a great day. Regards, The Leitner Team.
