Just shocking. We dropped the first brokers they gave us as they provided us unsatisfactory rates and below average service - and attitude when we pulled them up on conflicting information they were providing us would you believe. But we'd supplied all our information to Lendi and had had identity checks etc. (what a drama) so figured it was a one off experience and requested the service of another broker. The second broker offered us the rate that was advertised online, which was I guess not too much to ask you'd think, but boy oh boy were we ...in for an expensive long drawn out frustrating waste of time and money. Literally months after engaging Lendi we were able to finally secure the loan. There were no issues with our credit rating. No issues with anything provided to them. They were constantly adding to what we needed to provide throughout the application process which should have been gathered from the beginning. Something in our previous experiences reputable mortgage brokers get right as they understand their products, and the banks that supply them. Basically a litany of broken promises (too many to mention and we're over it) from the very beginning we engaged Lendi, to following settlement. Had we known this - we would have never ever engaged them and will take our hard earned money elsewhere next time. And no, it wasn't all the 'bank's fault' thank you Lendi! I would not recommend Lendi to anyone, ever.
I did not have a very pleasant experience with Lendi, the customer follow up at the application stage through to the documtation stage was below standard. The application process was drawn out and I was regularly calling to find out its progress,and often not called back even after leaving a number of messages. When after over a month, after threatening to go elsewhere, we finally received our documents there were a number of errors , not to mention, failing to divulge that the applicants would have to get a generic ID check and Land Title EI...S ID check at the post office at a cost (which again we were not made aware of)! Had Vivien Z. not taken over the deal my application to deal directly with another Lender would have been submitted. Vivien was given the very tough job of having to iron out all the errors in the documentation, a number of times. Vivien handled our numerous complaints in a very effective and professional manner. Thank you Vivien your colleagues should definitely be looking to you with regards to communication with a customer, and being dependable and taking ownership.

terrible customer service, breaching the law by calling me multiple times in a day AFTER I unsubscribed. absolutely do not recommend under any circumstances.
very long process
A very long process which we were not used to with our previous broker. If we knew it was going to be as hard as it was, we probably would have cancelled it. In saying this, we have no problems with the staff, only doing their job.
A scary settlement
Getting loan approval part was good, but settlement was pure chaotic. Main contact ([name removed]) was on leave when we were notified for settlement, staff ([name removed]) who was handling settlement suddenly disappeared in the middle of conversations, on a 2-week annual leave, 4 days before settlement, without proper hand-over to another staff. Had to reach out to his emergency contact listed on his "out of office" auto reply, explained myself, got quite a scare when his colleague told us the bank still had multiple things pending 5 hours be...fore settlement date. Kudos to his colleague ([name removed]) for actually fixing everything within the last 5 hours. If I didn't proactively reach out to his emergency contact in time, I am thinking we might fail to settle and lose our deposit.
Average to say the least.
Barely improved rate, hounded us constantly. 5 to 10 calls a day to me and my wife plus emails just to push it faster for their own commission. Just call the bank yourself for a discounted rate.
Don't use Lendi ever!
Because of their inability to correctly communicate terms and rates of loan they offered us we now pay an extra $27000 in interest and missed settlement twice waiting for them to "fix a problem I found in documentation...that would have had us paying nearly 1% more for our loan. I could have got a cheaper deal with my own bank in the end but because we had to settle a purchase we had no choice but to go ahead with their "band aid fix" and accept a higher than originally offered and confirmed in writing rate. Beware...check your loan offer documents carefully! Not sure how many people they may have caught using this scam.
Days until settlement and incorrect documents
It has been over 8 weeks since applying for my loan. Two weeks ago I received my loan documents to sign with so many errors including the wrong loan and deposit amounts. Initially I was instructed to "just cross it out and write what you think should be in there." That was two weeks ago, nothing has been done since and I keep getting told "it has been escalated." I have 2 weeks until settlement now and no confidence it will be fixed. It has been issue after issue and I have to keep emailing documents. I was then directed to the bank branch...who the loan application was through to confirm identity documents. Once I was at the bank branch I was met with a blank stare of "why are you here, we don't have any details for you at all." This was followed by more emails back and forth to lendi. You don't always get the same broker, I have been dealing with 3 and now a manager. I received a phone call to say I had to go into the bank branch to sign my loan documents which I would have preferred only to be called by another person 5 minutes later to say the loan documents will be posted to me... talk about confusing. I chose Lendi as I wanted a hassle free process. This has been more stressful and time consuming than if I had done all of this myself. This is not the first time I have got a mortgage so I know what is invloved and it shouldn't be this hard. Whilst their staff are nice in the phone and make promises to get things fixed nothing is ever followed through. DO NOT GO WITH LENDI!!
Long frustrating process
Lack of communication throughout the process no return phone calls passed to new representative at various stages to avoid responsibility stressful and horrible experience..
Very slow and lots of excusses
In total settlement took 11weeks to settle. I have had to chase and follow through with everything. Re submit paper work and Identification certificates.
And then my release paper work was incorrect which then lead to some how an extra 3 weeks.
Lendi - Not easy home loan
Although the company did find us a good rate the process we had to go through was stressful, really slow and the communication between the broker and lender wasn't smooth. It took longer than it would normally through a bank and eventually once settlement happened we couldn't access the funds straight away, although we were being charged interest on the loan. We were refinancing a home loan so the old bank had to be paid out and the surplus was available to us. The old bank got paid out however it took an additional 2 days for us to access the surplus. Why is that? Short term money market?
All I got from Lendi was stress and anger. We have received wrong loan after paying 10% of deposit whereas we wanted owner occupied. The broker didn't accept that he made the mistake and told us that assessor in the bank gave us wrong loan(investment loan). He was insisting that we should accept investment loan and he will change it to owner occupied later. However after calling the bank, all became clear that broker lodged wrong application!!! and changing investment loan to owner occupied will cost thousands ! We had a wrong loan Just weeks a...way from settlement which could lead us to lose 10% deposit that we already paid. So you can imagine how stressed we were. Thanks to his manager, she tried to fix the problem, and she told us it will take up to 3 weeks to get loan from online bank which was stressful as well but to be honest she was trying to fix the problem that her colleague caused.! However my husband & I went to the bank and submitted our documents to the bank and we got right loan in just 48 hours! Don't waste your time with brokers! Go directly to the bank and they will help you without any stress and any hassle. Very bad experience with Lendi
We contacted Lendi approximately 3 months ago to help with our mortgages. To date the issue is still not resolved and we have decided to give them the flick. Lendi are appalling at customer service, for example, not returning phone calls, not answering emails and continually asking for the same information which we had provided on more than one occasion. Lendi do not take any responsibility for their lack of customer care and love to blame anyone or anything else but themselves. BEWARE - stay away from them!
After I began an application with them, they called me multiple times a day, even after I told them that the house had been sold to someone else and I would contact them when I found another. One day they called me nine times, never leaving a message.
The entire process was endlessly frustrating and time consuming due to continuing requests made to us and our accountants for yet more information (much of it irrelevant). Despite explaining our financial circumstances time and again, the Lendi "team" never got it. Requests made for updates were rarely handled in a timely way. It has put me off borrowing ever again.
taking weeks and no contact
well at first all was great get to signing the papers with Australian credit and finance Brisbane (Lendi so they tell me) and then no contact hard to get a hold of consultant very stressful to deal with would not recommend to anyone it has been over a month now and still not sorted out. When they came out to see us for the first time it all sounded great they could save us all this money and have our loan paid off in no time once papers were signed there was no contact which makes us worried and would do to anyone I would say.4 months on and it is still going we finally got our paperwork to find they have not applied for the loan we asked for one of the worst companies I have ever dealt with.

I am writing on behalf of my husband. I feel so bad for him as he keeps calling our Agent but no response. We are waiting for Unconditional Approval from last week Thursday. Two days ago my husband was on a call with Agent regarding some query but after that no communication at all. I was leaning towards Lendi for a homeloan after seeing the '1877' reviews with the highest stars than any of big 4 banks, just having a feeling that these may not be genuine.
