POOR AFTER SALES
After a great sales service I received my loan documents for review. I questioned the terms and conditions and have been told it is the brokers responsibility I.e. Lendi to resolve not the Bank. However after contacting Lendi multiple times I have had zero help. They even said they are not the broker? So who is the broker then? Are they just sales people? It is a serious undertaking to take on a mortgage and I am not happy with lendi after sales service
Absolute nightmare. Go straight to the bank and forget lendi.
Started the process of refinancing my home loan and investment loan April 2 2021. July 16 still not finalised. At least 20 calls and lost count of the Amount of emails. Dealt with 3 different brokers so far. Miss a call from lendi and ring back within 5 minutes and not get a response until the next day.
Make an appointment to sign documents at bank and Lendi have only sent half of what is required. Now have Lendi and Westpac telling me it is each other's fault that the documents aren't there.

Not a quick process
Started the process nearly 5 weeks ago to refinance my home loan. Application to selected bank just submitted only yesterday. Very frustrating how long Lendi take. Would not use them again for this reason.
After filling out all the details on line and talking to a Mortgage specialist - The Mortgage specialist said he would need to speak to my husband as well.
We made an appointment the next day - had all our info ready to go..... Unfortunately the Home Loan specialist did not call and did not answer when we tried to call. Although the mortgage specialist was friendly and knowledgeable I found the whole process to be painstakingly slow.
Our first call with Lendi was over a week ago.

Do yourself a favour
What ever you do in your home finance endeavours, do yourself a favour and do not approach this company! Our contact and communications with Consultant Ben from Lendi Brisbane office relating to our functions in this loan application, started out clear and concise. But in the latter stages of 6 week timeframe, despite emails and phone calls seeking confirmation that all requirements for the application were met, and the application status, we received no response whatsoever. Abysmal client service, no acknowledgment or response to written comm...unication, not answering or returning phone calls, just a totally incompetent organization. And the same experience applied for the other key person involved in this application for finance, the crucial process just faded to dismissal of Lendi as brokers, due to their utter ignorance. Again, my advice, do not waste your time an effort here, you too may miss out on a purchase opportunity.
Took over 3 months to settle
Mortgage broker was great but Lendi themselves were hopeless. Took over 3 months to settle…kept telling me they were hoping for it to happen the following week..again & again & again. Rate was good. But 3.5 months was not what I consider to be easier & quicker
Incorrect calculations lost us thousands
Lendi agent made an error in his calculations, advised us of the amount we could offer on a property, whist keeping our $60k savings. The $60k was needed to cover the cost of some major repairs on our house before we leased it out to tenants. This was made very clear from the beginning. Numbers were off and we lost it all. Complained to the company and manager, who then tried to "help" us by offering to assist us to borrow more money to get back our $60k. No compensation for financial and personal stress offered, just help to get further into d...ebt and higher monthly repayments. Very upsetting and stressful. One of the worst experiences of our life. Now have to ask family to borrow so we can take care of the repairs. Beginning the complaints process with AFCA.
Filled out an enquiry form and then was relentlessly stalked by some employee on his mobile - called me literally 10 times to generate business. I eventually threatened to call the police if they didnt stop calling me.
Waste of time
Rude consultant who refused to submit an application for me, so I contacted my bank directly who pre-approved my application that day on the same rate. Thanks for wasting my time!
Can't be bothered
The initial all I got was great, the guy gave me good details, was friendly and booked me in with a specialist. The specialist call was terrible. He didn't explain things. When I tried to answer his questions, he didn't understand, which happens, but when I tried to ask what he wasn't understanding, he took it out and said "I can't help you. You should go to someone else". Way to turn around a keen customer.
Took over 3 months to settle. Most frustrating process I have ever been through. Never again. Next time I will go straight to the Lender and not use this Company.
After being told my first contract interest rate expired before they could get the contract. 2nd one received and made appointment with the bank for id and loan check only to be told that it was the incorrect contract again. Are these guys really MORTGAGE BROKERS???
My last review saw me getting one call to resolve the issue which I was unable to take as I was working. No follow-up call made to me. Is this how you provide customer service....I think not. Not impressed with any practices of Lendi and their professional way of wasting peoples time ongoing. My rating to date has fallen from 1 star to - 5 for their effort - NOT.
Long drawn series of mistakes that I was left to fix
Terrible, long drawn out experience. Settlement of my loan was stopped due to issues with a property tile, which I was not told about until I followed it up, wondering why I had heard nothing about settlement for weeks. Broker then resubmitted the loan application using a different property title, but requested a standard product instead of an offset product. Despite me raising this at the time, he told me that it would be easy for me to fix with the bank once the loan had settled. I have since wasted hours of my time fixing his mistake, waitin...g on hold with the bank and being passed around from person to person - and I still don't have an off-set product set up, leaving me with a few hundred thousand dollars sitting around, earning no interest, while I pay the full interest on my loan.
Thanks for wasting my time.
It would be nice if I was able to talk to the consultant assigned to me. A call time was set up twice and both times he failed to call. Very disappointed. Thank you for wasting my time!
Will never go through lendi again
Applied for a loan in November 2020, loan still has not gone through May 2021. I have lost a lot of money in interest in this period of time! Lendi keeps blaming the banks for the wait, however are very slow themselves to find resolutions to questions I have asked.

Who do I contact to help sort out my application as my lendi rep is stuffing us around and keeps emailing and asking for stuff we have already provided, he said everything was fine and we will hear back regarding approval but emailed again today asking for details he had asked few weeks ago.

I am writing on behalf of my husband. I feel so bad for him as he keeps calling our Agent but no response. We are waiting for Unconditional Approval from last week Thursday. Two days ago my husband was on a call with Agent regarding some query but after that no communication at all. Now Christmas holiday coming closer and closer we need some kind of Clarification otherwise we would withdraw the application. If someone can contact my husband. ASAP.

I was leaning towards Lendi for a homeloan after seeing the '1877' reviews with the highest stars than any of big 4 banks, just having a feeling that these may not be genuine.
