Completely lacking customer service and SLOW
Requests for paperwork prev verified. 2+ weeks no closer to loan, & information is still wrong. Cancelled application: they don’t pick up the phone or use the right email address despite multiple requests & messages both online & over the phone.
Noone looked after our application when our representative was on holidays for a week and when she was sick for a week. The timeline of 2 to 3 days has ended up being 6 weeks. When I tried to explain this I was told " You need to listen ". This was as another rep was giving a list of excuses. Di not give these timeliness if they are unachievable. Emailed questions went unanswered, and incorrect advice given.
An incredibly slow process with no result.
Our first and last experience with Lendi was not good at all. We had applied for Pre-approval last year in May to get an idea how much we can borrow but that didn't happen as excepted. Our Lendi Agent told us that if we have a contract, we would get the approval in 15 days, which never happened as we found our first dream home/land package. The day we paid $2000 to secure the land we got bad new saying our application has been rejected by the bank which was chosen by Lendi Agent. Then Lendi referred our application to another bank and after cha...sing and waiting for 2 months we got conditional approval and we paid 5% deposit in October. 2 months had past and we still didn't get the final approval. Long story short, we wasted 6 to 7 months following up with Lendi and didn't get any result. Luckily, we withdraw our application (before Christmas as we mentioned to our agent earlier) from Lendi. We made the best decision of our lives after we approached another Lender as we got our loan settled in 15 days. Everything is still the same situation (income etc.). Lendi took 8 to 9 months to get the Conditional Approval but with the new lender, we got our Unconditional/Final Approval within 15 days. Overall, our experience with Lendi was not great.
I put my details into the lendi website to get a quote. Ever since then I have been receiving multiple scam calls and text messages daily. I block every number but still more keep coming! Lendi obviously sells your information to bitcoin scammers. Do not give them any personal information!

No it did not work !
The agent ([Name Removed]) is nice but the system is so bad:
1) There are so many bugs / errors while uploading the documents to their platform
2) There are so many back and forth steps to finalise the documents. Before I spent only couple hours with a local agent to finish all required documents but with Lendi it takes 3-4 weeks to submit even though my documents are ready
3) Then it takes ages for them to submit the applications to the bank
I gave up with Lendi after 3 months of processing the application.
Never ever again!!!
PS. To everyo...ne: I chose Lendi as my loan agent because I found they have very high reviews. However, now I know that not many of them are "verified customers" like myself. You know what I mean! So please consider this fact before you make your decision. Good luck
Received a call from Lendi who asked questions about where I was in the lending process. I let them know I received full approval from elsewhere, but they pushed and enquired more about the rates. Then they remarked (I’m sure they respond with this to everyone) - “WOW that’s so high!”. They promised me that they’d find me a better rate and to not worry that I already had full approval. Long story short, they couldn’t find me a better offer and hung up on me.
What a waste of time.
Worst Experience Ever
We were outright lied to by the broker. We were given the wrong loan, then we were told they'd fix it up in the next couple of days. I had to chase and chase to get information. Finally resettlement occurred on the right loan after weeks not days. Not one apology, in fact they tried to get us to sign a non-disclosure agreement which we refused to sign.
Worst mistake Aussie could have made as Lendi are useless and will drag them down.
Waste of time fir my family
Won’t lendi to my post code - discrimination. I can’t believe that the advertising campaign is not what the product is. The excuses were vast and varied. Satisfaction zero. Waste of time.
Absolutely awful service from senior relationship manager
We had a “Senior Relationship Manager” take on our case after our original broker with Lendi left the company. He was incredibly condescending when we requested information regarding the max amount we could borrow to build our new home, stating that he did not want to go back to the bank again to request this information, in case we “changed our minds again?!?!?”. Maybe I’m mistaken in thinking that’s his job? We were constantly chasing up our preapproval and he was constantly passing the buck to someone else and laying blame on them, when they mostly had no idea what we needed. Did not even reply to our email when we decided to cease services with Lendi and seek another broker. Disgraceful!

Its Approved...Oh No its Not...
I am most upset. I was informed by [Name Removed] as every stage the pre-approval process that the "bank "Macquarie" had told him they will say yes to dividend income ( they dont) and that they are flexible ( they aren't) that my expenses were ok, ( they were far too high) and that the first house I was interested in he put on the application ( it sold to someone else as I hadn't even put in an offer) and that Yes that application was approved...Hiccup 1, ok, So I look for another house in the same price range assuming I can now borrow $540K. ...Make an offer, wait wait prod, wait, in the final hour before unconditional He comes back with an offer of $280K. I have been led to believe at all points this was a done deal and am now stranded, as are the owners who have packed up and half way out the door. Do not use Lendi. I have been lied to on multiple occasions and have no idea what the point of it all was. He wasted his time, my time, agents, time, building and pest time, solicitors time, and has cost me $1100 with no outcome. He should have just said you can borrow $280K that's IT.
They missed our first phone appointment and then when we eventually made an application for a home loan. Their online system didn’t work well and it took multiple attempts to upload documents. We waited 3 weeks and heard nothing back from our broker. When we called and emailed, they ignored us for 2 weeks. 6 weeks later the broker told us that he dropped the ball and forgot to submit the application. Terrible customer service. Stay away!
Did we get the only bad Lendi Broker?
We went back to Lendi as the last time we used them 3 years ago they were brilliant. Unfortunately the same can't be said for the service we've received this time; barely any communication and when our broker does communicate it's because she's missed a step, forgot to get information from us etc. The constant run around has been a joke. We're 4 weeks into it and still waiting on her to reply to an email about our application which is marked as with the bank for approval. My partners ready to cancel the application and go elsewhere.
Very disappointed -
We approached Lendi for a loan for an investment property and our initial experience was good. We were told that the approval would be through in a day or two at the latest, then when this didn't happen, we were told the same again. In good faith we let the subject to finance clause on our purchase lapse and were still waiting for approval 11 business days from the first contact despite providing all documents in a timely manner. (We had a standard QLD 30 day settlement so time is of the essence here.) Received an email from Lendi to say that...the application had been submitted but on calling ING, the lender, as per a text message to activate our account, we discovered that the application had not in fact even been submitted in full. Our calls and emails went unanswered so we went to one of the big four banks and had approval in 24 hours and documents signed in 2 days! What a waste of time! Lots of flashy emails from Lendi but no action. Very disappointing.
Lack of customer service
I was told about 20 days to here if loan excepted 2 months many phones calls and emails later still no reply if I could give a zero I would

They don’t really know what they are doing or what to ask for till 2 months into the process and then to update all the documents again and finally giving a bad recommendation., which you will then not proceed. If this could all be upfront saying you time and stress and just gone with others...
Don´t waste your time.
They keep delaying and dragging with useless emails. They don´t get back to you promptly . Always aim for big respectable companies. They never get back to you and never answer to your call. Horrible experience . Zero out of 10

Useless Mortgage Brokers
Had a refinance application through these guys. Waste of 4 months. The broker's phone just went straight to voicemail every time. Poor communication. Didn't get my application processed for 2 months. When asked for update, every time I was told "We are still waiting to hear from the lender". They dragged this for another 2 months. Broker gave crap stories like "My manager is talking to ING's national manager to get an update", as if we don't know they have a dedicated broker's assistance team which can at least give an update and reason of delay. Do yourself a favor guys, and apply elsewhere.
Unfortunately, I can't recommend Lendi
5 weeks in and we still don't know if a simple refinance will go ahead even after Lendi banker advises things to do, to have it approved, and we're still waiting for a response. It's been a pretty poor experience. My recommendation is see your existing bank and advise them your looking to refinance for $$$ etc amount and see if they can match it. Done in 5 minutes... Lendi.... 5 weeks and still can't advise on outcome but requests you to adjust other banking & still can't get it finalised... Unfortunately, and I really mean unfortunately (as I've used other brokers), I just can't recommend them.
Information provided was consistently incorrect and misleading causing us to almost lose the house we purchased.
Unfortunately, I had no end of issues with Lendi throughout my loan application process. I had to consistently follow up to ensure items were completed. Lendi provided false and misleading information on numerous occasions, including from both the brokers manager and also the senior sales manager.
I only decided to go with a broker as I am extremely time poor due to work and family commitments.
I am extremely fortunate to work in lending and have an understanding of the loan process. If I did not have this experience, I would have lost the ...house I had purchased due to Lendi. Lendi continuously refused to escalate our loan application even though it was a purchase settlement and I submitted our application before making an offer on a house, on top of this, I also allowed an extended 21 days for finance giving a total of over 25 days to organise finance. Lendi never took any responsibility for their shortcomings and continuously blamed the lender. After extensive discussions with the head of credit for the lender, they advised that all the information I had been provided by Lendi had been incorrect. Further to this, the senior sales manager, [Name Removed] really needs to take some courses in how to speak with customers, he was extremely arrogant and had absolutely no empathy for our situation.
Spoke to a customer service representative for almost three hours on the phone. Scanned all my documents through and was rejected because I receive a TAC (transport accident commission) wage because of my husband recently passing away. This wage is consistent until my children at least finish Secondary School. At the moment my children are 1 and 3 years old. I owe very little on my mortgage and only wanted to get a better interest rate. The person I spoke to in the credit department was very rude.

I am writing on behalf of my husband. I feel so bad for him as he keeps calling our Agent but no response. We are waiting for Unconditional Approval from last week Thursday. Two days ago my husband was on a call with Agent regarding some query but after that no communication at all. I was leaning towards Lendi for a homeloan after seeing the '1877' reviews with the highest stars than any of big 4 banks, just having a feeling that these may not be genuine.
