Most stressful time l have had in a long time with terrible results
Customer service was nil by a manager who told me on the Friday he would let me know an answer on the Monday after 20 phone calls and emails final got a response when l said l was going to make a formal complaint or contact the ombudsman

It took more than 1 year to do a refinance loan
It took more than a year to refinance a loan missing a better rate as it went up. Also promised calls and then never call. I got the loan in the end but with 1.7% more than when I started the application.

A great experience!
Or Lendi consultant was always helpful and respectful of my time. I think the rate we received was ok considering they are on the rise. Our home loan specialist who came on board late in the process confused matters and requested documents that we had already provided. Not sure why she is necessary?

Unreliable and waste of time
I used Lendi twice, once as a first home buyer and then for refinance. In both instances I got wrong products recommended and the process was so slow that I had to get loan arranged from somewhere else.
During refinance I was suggested HSBC. I patiently waited for 4 months but got an abysmal 3.37% fixed rate offer blaming the bank. I would recommend Lendi to those who want to waste their time.

Very efficient and helpful.
I was very satisfied and happy with the experience I had with Lendi agent Samuel De Swardt. He was very helpful and very quick to respond to any queries or concerns I had with the refinancing of my loan. The interest rate and bank he has secured for me has been better than I had hoped for.

Very disappointed with Lendi settlement team
The broker i delt with to start the process Eric was fantastic but it went down hill from there , i was sent 2 incorrect bank contracts the settlement member Roneel was very hard to get onto he only returned my call after an email outlining my intentions to contact the ombudsman I was given 6 different settlement dates with a lack of explanation why ? that is totally unacceptable and poor business practise we have excellent credit history which was a straight forward application but clearly for a business that is in this line of work on a daily basis cant even get the simple refinance contract settled in a timely manner this is a real concern .I definitely will not be recommending Lendi to family or friends .

What a joke this company is
Had a dispute about 6 weeks ago and manager called and we sorted it out ..told everything will be fixed in 21 days..so I proceeded no further as took their word again.. !! Started the process of refinancing my home loan and investment loan April 2 2021. July 16 still not finalised. At least 20 calls and lost count of the Amount of emails. Dealt with 3 different brokers so far. Miss a call from lendi and ring back within 5 minutes and not get a response until the next day.
Make an appointment to sign documents at bank and Lendi have only sent half of what is required. Now have Lendi and Westpac telling me it is each other's fault that the documents aren't there.

Buying and settling - Take 2
Dean Hulsmann, our broker is wonderful to deal with. Unfortunately the process is so lengthy, but that is more of a bank issue than the broker themselves. I am very upfront and say exactly what I want, so Dean & I have built a decent relationship over the last 2 years to the point where he knows me well enough that we can communicate really easily.

Frustratingly slow
Avoid, if time is of any importance to you. It took Lendi 3-4 WEEKS to submit a simple application which had everything ticked from the word go.
Skills to rope in new customers once they have you the phone are top notch but once you are caught in their net, no option but to suffer the delays.
Very hard to talk to, Home Loan specialist will never respond to messages left on their site and will not provide a direct number to contact unless you complaint.

Information provided was consistently incorrect and misleading causing us to almost lose the house we purchased.
Unfortunately, I had no end of issues with Lendi throughout my loan application process. I had to consistently follow up to ensure items were completed. Lendi provided false and misleading information on numerous occasions, including from both the brokers manager and also the senior sales manager.
I only decided to go with a broker as I am extremely time poor due to work and family commitments.

Lendi continuously refused to escalate our loan application even though it was a purchase settlement and I submitted our application before making an offer on a house, on top of this, I also allowed an extended 21 days for finance giving a total of over 25 days to organise finance. Lendi never took any responsibility for their shortcomings and continuously blamed the lender. After extensive discussions with the head of credit for the lender, they advised that all the information I had been provided by Lendi had been incorrect.
