Long drawn series of mistakes that I was left to fix
Terrible, long drawn out experience. Settlement of my loan was stopped due to issues with a property tile, which I was not told about until I followed it up, wondering why I had heard nothing about settlement for weeks. Broker then resubmitted the loan application using a different property title, but requested a standard product instead of an offset product. Despite me raising this at the time, he told me that it would be easy for me to fix with the bank once the loan had settled. I have since wasted hours of my time fixing his mistake, waitin...g on hold with the bank and being passed around from person to person - and I still don't have an off-set product set up, leaving me with a few hundred thousand dollars sitting around, earning no interest, while I pay the full interest on my loan.
Noone looked after our application when our representative was on holidays for a week and when she was sick for a week. The timeline of 2 to 3 days has ended up being 6 weeks. When I tried to explain this I was told " You need to listen ". This was as another rep was giving a list of excuses. Di not give these timeliness if they are unachievable. Emailed questions went unanswered, and incorrect advice given.
No it did not work !
The agent ([Name Removed]) is nice but the system is so bad:
1) There are so many bugs / errors while uploading the documents to their platform
2) There are so many back and forth steps to finalise the documents. Before I spent only couple hours with a local agent to finish all required documents but with Lendi it takes 3-4 weeks to submit even though my documents are ready
3) Then it takes ages for them to submit the applications to the bank
I gave up with Lendi after 3 months of processing the application.
Never ever again!!!
PS. To everyo...ne: I chose Lendi as my loan agent because I found they have very high reviews. However, now I know that not many of them are "verified customers" like myself. You know what I mean! So please consider this fact before you make your decision. Good luck
Worst Experience Ever
We were outright lied to by the broker. We were given the wrong loan, then we were told they'd fix it up in the next couple of days. I had to chase and chase to get information. Finally resettlement occurred on the right loan after weeks not days. Not one apology, in fact they tried to get us to sign a non-disclosure agreement which we refused to sign.
Worst mistake Aussie could have made as Lendi are useless and will drag them down.
Don´t waste your time.
They keep delaying and dragging with useless emails. They don´t get back to you promptly . Always aim for big respectable companies. They never get back to you and never answer to your call. Horrible experience . Zero out of 10
Unfortunately, I can't recommend Lendi
5 weeks in and we still don't know if a simple refinance will go ahead even after Lendi banker advises things to do, to have it approved, and we're still waiting for a response. It's been a pretty poor experience. My recommendation is see your existing bank and advise them your looking to refinance for $$$ etc amount and see if they can match it. Done in 5 minutes... Lendi.... 5 weeks and still can't advise on outcome but requests you to adjust other banking & still can't get it finalised... Unfortunately, and I really mean unfortunately (as I've used other brokers), I just can't recommend them.
My Experience was totally bad
My initial experience was OK, Once signed up with them experience was horrible.
Lack of communication, In experience staffs, unnecessary documents asking for loan, Not willing to listen customer properly. Simply wasting customers time. Not recommended at all
Broker was really nice but unable to be effective when dealing with a lender issue, and the company could not/did not pre-empt the problem or have the means to solve it, and now I’m out of pocket for a series of delays. Very disappointing experience after what had been a promising start.
Comedy of errors but not funny
I've used Lendi twice now and both times there was error after error causing extended delays. I went back the 2nd time because my current lender advised I had to because they referred me the 1st time. From issuing loan documents for the incorrect amount, constantly having to chase updates and being punted around to multiple different staff members it was an absolute joke. The bad service caused weeks of delays to the commencement of my home renovations, inconveniencing my family and my builder. Will not use them again and will not recommend to anyone.
Absolutely waste of time
Customer service [name removed] appeared to be so helpful and eager to assist at the beginning, Too good to be true, he asked for numerous documents and statement literally all finance history and banking details and affordability, name it ... but not once, over and over again because he delays so it has to be updated from one pay cycle to another. Doesn’t return call or email excusing birthday or family commitment and all crap. So to make you give up. What I am annoyed is that they get all your private information and do nothing but wasting yo...ur time and giving false promises. Don’t waste your time... they are too good to be true. Apply with major banks directly why do you need a broker who waste your time and cash out a bonus from your pocket?
Very bad experience and will not use Lendi again
We signed up Lendi to help us with our home loan. The communication between us and the agent was very poor. No support and no clarity in what was happening with our application. The agent was never straight forward. We used his advice to put an offer on a house. In spite of asking him a number of times to get a pre-approval, he ignored our pleas. I wrote him an email asking for if there will be a problem if we put an offer. He advised that he had spoken to the BDM and said he was sure we could go ahead. We believe his words and decided to put a...n offer for a house. We did ask him about how much we could borrow to narrow down our search. We ended up putting an offer and tried to contact him about it. I wrote numerous emails asking him to contact us and also informed him of the offer. We never received any response. We received an email from the agent one day before the cooling off and he just said sorry and that he will look in to it. I was very scared in losing the initial deposit and asked him if he was confident in getting a loan. He advised that he doesn't see a problem. We extended the cooling off period. Again, there was no communication or messages. I was getting worried and wrote numerous emails asking him for an update. We asked the vendor if we could extend the cooling off period for a few more days and on the second last day before the cooling off period, the broker wrote an email saying that the application will take time and he wanted us to retract the lendi loan application. We have now last the initial deposit and has been a very harsh lesson. I would never use Lendi again and will certainly not recommend them to any of my friends. I replied to his email expressing my disappointment and received an email saying that the mail was not delivered. All I ask fellow people is to be aware of the loan process before approaching a broker.it is best to do your research and never trust anyone.

This was the first time I dealt with them . .
I sent an online enquiry to refinance my existing home loan . They were quick to get back to me and organise a valuation done . I was contacted by a person named [Name Removed] .
Post Valuation, I have been unable to get to them for an update . I have Tried and contacted them via email , direct phone Of the agent and their general number .
The agents phone goes directly to voice mail . When I contact the general number they take down my details and never get back to me .
Worst experience ever and never going to go ahead with them even if I get the beat offer as their service is appalling.
ok to use for a once off refinance or new loan, if it involves any cashback offers, chase up what is required yourself direct with the bank. and if your after any information or advise afterwards don’t bother.

Looking for alternative poor service
I have used Lendi previously and found them amazing. Using it to get an investment property found them horrible to deal with, documents requested repeatedly, documents not understood or read, had no idea of salary packaging. Told that I needed a quick settlement as there were specific conditions, did not understand contacts and commitments.
Told that it would take 4 days now on day 6 with still no results. Will be looking elsewhere in future.
Fyzee called me very shortly after lodging my online enquiry. And from that phone call onwards he worked persistently and patiently to help with my very complicated refinancing. My only complaint is with the web site form lodgement. At times it was quite difficult to work out what document to upload to which category.

Please dont go with Lendi if you are looking for a smooth and hazzle free home loan process.
Very poor communication and at the end, loan is not settled on time.
The so called home loan specialist [name removed] submitted the loan without listening to the customers needs and we had to direct him for every step.
Lendi will have good communication and assurance until they confirm the business, after that you call them 100 times, they won’t answer the call and reply to email, especially [name removed].

Some good more poor service
Initial contact good. Had to resubmit paperwork too many times. Too many calls from various staff about same thing. Lack of communication within Lendi staff. Upon settlement didnt even get the loan setup as requested. 1 month on and still not setup correctly. Lendi blames bank and vice versa. Me the customer stuck in limbo.
Big hassle, terrible after sales services and they don't check on unauthorised deductions made
My loans have been settled through Lendi weeks ago but there have been unauthorized charges not being picked up by the broker before the settlement. When I first ask about the charges, they asked me to wait for the bank final schedule of payment and don't bother to check if they were valid or not. Seems like they don't bother to check if the banks are making correct transactions before settlement. Out of the 2 loans, one had an unknown of 6k!+deduction and the other with 1.4k+. The 6k+ has been returned without any valid explanation only after...multiple email exchanges which I just let it go since now ihave gotten back my money But now they are simply not getting back to me on the 1.46k or at least explain to me on if it is a valid charge. Don't understand why they would take more than 2 weeks and still not figure out, and not retuning my money. Calls have been unanswered (calls went to voice mails ALL THE TIME or messages left on voice mails not answered). Emails responses have been tardy...and eventually if responded, only said they are investigating. Even before the settlement. I find that the amount of administrative work required doubles what I had to deal with when I were liaising directly with banks previously. If I decided to make changes due to change in market circumstances when the loans haven not been signed off, I was told that that I have to pay to make changes to the contracts that I did not have a chance to vet through before they submitted to the banks. I have previously refinanced with banks directly and find the whole process so much less hassle and much more responsive. Lendi did not put in the credit card application for me as part of the bank package and now told me that I have to cancel all my other credit cards before I can apply for one. I has asked them before how do we go about setting up the credit card before I cancel the others but you guess it, no response! What is the point of a broker if I have to handle everything myself? I can't follow up with the banks directly on the discrepancy now as the banks always referred me back to the broker. i now have to leave a (bad bad bad) review hoping for a final resolution. This experience left a very bad taste for me in terms of using brokers. Please don't go with one if you can as they only care about you getting loans through them, although their sales pitch is that they will look out for you even after this transaction. They followed up quite frequently with me when the loans were not being put through yet but now? I am out of pocket for no reason and they have decided that it is ok for me to be out of pocket for weeks when I could have put that sum to other use like getting new furniture or to offset my loans!
The worst customer experience!
Signed up with the company in 2019 - Jan called them multiple times and asked how my application was going. Was told some one will call me back. Finally received a call in August!
There was no communication on the settlement. I had requested for a specfic settlement date for my two properties and was assured that this was going to happen. Post settlement was not given those dates and was asked to deal with all the issues by myself.
One escalating the issue Manager calls to apologise but no further action is take!.

I am writing on behalf of my husband. I feel so bad for him as he keeps calling our Agent but no response. We are waiting for Unconditional Approval from last week Thursday. Two days ago my husband was on a call with Agent regarding some query but after that no communication at all. I was leaning towards Lendi for a homeloan after seeing the '1877' reviews with the highest stars than any of big 4 banks, just having a feeling that these may not be genuine.
