Incorrect calculations lost us thousands
Lendi agent made an error in his calculations, advised us of the amount we could offer on a property, whist keeping our $60k savings. The $60k was needed to cover the cost of some major repairs on our house before we leased it out to tenants. This was made very clear from the beginning. Numbers were off and we lost it all. Complained to the company and manager, who then tried to "help" us by offering to assist us to borrow more money to get back our $60k. No compensation for financial and personal stress offered, just help to get further into d...ebt and higher monthly repayments. Very upsetting and stressful. One of the worst experiences of our life. Now have to ask family to borrow so we can take care of the repairs. Beginning the complaints process with AFCA.
The Sales Process was great
The first encounter and support from Mike Lam were great. He provided me with the information that I needed to decide to purchase another property. When it came to the home loan decision time, he reduced my overall interest rate for my investment property and got me a good rate on my additional home loan.
The support after the sale could have been better. The communication about the next steps and timing was a bit uncoordinated and could have been better.
Overall I am a happy customer that got the desired outcome
Filled out an enquiry form and then was relentlessly stalked by some employee on his mobile - called me literally 10 times to generate business. I eventually threatened to call the police if they didnt stop calling me.
It's a 4.5-star rate!!!
Very happy with the services, staff shows being eager and enthusiasm and guided me through the process.
Some required documents were asked a couple of times though and timeliness needs to be improved if can. however, it turns all worth the effort in the end.

Waste of time
Rude consultant who refused to submit an application for me, so I contacted my bank directly who pre-approved my application that day on the same rate. Thanks for wasting my time!
Buying and settling - Take 2
Dean Hulsmann, our broker is wonderful to deal with. Unfortunately the process is so lengthy, but that is more of a bank issue than the broker themselves. I am very upfront and say exactly what I want, so Dean & I have built a decent relationship over the last 2 years to the point where he knows me well enough that we can communicate really easily.
I can only give 4 stars though, mostly because in my eyes, the settlement team doesn't live up to the same expectations. I know they are incredibly busy at the moment, but the customer should always...
Can't be bothered
The initial all I got was great, the guy gave me good details, was friendly and booked me in with a specialist. The specialist call was terrible. He didn't explain things. When I tried to answer his questions, he didn't understand, which happens, but when I tried to ask what he wasn't understanding, he took it out and said "I can't help you. You should go to someone else". Way to turn around a keen customer.
Took over 3 months to settle. Most frustrating process I have ever been through. Never again. Next time I will go straight to the Lender and not use this Company.
After being told my first contract interest rate expired before they could get the contract. 2nd one received and made appointment with the bank for id and loan check only to be told that it was the incorrect contract again. Are these guys really MORTGAGE BROKERS???
My last review saw me getting one call to resolve the issue which I was unable to take as I was working. No follow-up call made to me. Is this how you provide customer service....I think not. Not impressed with any practices of Lendi and their professional way of wasting peoples time ongoing. My rating to date has fallen from 1 star to - 5 for their effort - NOT.
Long drawn series of mistakes that I was left to fix
Terrible, long drawn out experience. Settlement of my loan was stopped due to issues with a property tile, which I was not told about until I followed it up, wondering why I had heard nothing about settlement for weeks. Broker then resubmitted the loan application using a different property title, but requested a standard product instead of an offset product. Despite me raising this at the time, he told me that it would be easy for me to fix with the bank once the loan had settled. I have since wasted hours of my time fixing his mistake, waitin...g on hold with the bank and being passed around from person to person - and I still don't have an off-set product set up, leaving me with a few hundred thousand dollars sitting around, earning no interest, while I pay the full interest on my loan.

It would be nice if I was able to talk to the consultant assigned to me. A call time was set up twice and both times he failed to call. Very disappointed. Thank you for wasting my time!
Will never go through lendi again
Applied for a loan in November 2020, loan still has not gone through May 2021. I have lost a lot of money in interest in this period of time! Lendi keeps blaming the banks for the wait, however are very slow themselves to find resolutions to questions I have asked.
Worst home loan brokerage experience ever
It took us 6 months for a simple home loan to be processed by Lendi. We had 2 loans, both with big banks, that we were getting refinanced into one loan, to another big bank, and due to Lendi's mismanagement of our refinancing, we had to submit our loan statements 6 times because of the time that had elapsed between submitting our paperwork to the receiving bank. I had spoke with all the banks trying to see where the hold up was and they all said it was because Lendi was not sending the paperwork through. Even the banks tried contacting Lendi...to assist with the transfer and got nothing. Just the accrued interest that we gained over this time, cost us money. The only reason this got resolved is because our submission got red flagged and sent to Lendi's BDM, where the completing of the transfer happened in one day. The staff were very nice and seemed genuinely supportive but the complete lack of management and following due process was inexcusable. I see the other reviews have been positive, but there is no way I will ever recommend Lendi as a professional service
What a waste of time
Completed a very lengthy and invasive questionnaire to be advised there were no products available for me. All I wanted was a simple refinance. Unable to delete my data now.
I used the website once and have been spammed with calls everyday while I’m working so I had to block the number, then I kept getting text messages where I had to unsubscribe and block the number, now I’m just getting emails, please just leave me alone

I am writing on behalf of my husband. I feel so bad for him as he keeps calling our Agent but no response. We are waiting for Unconditional Approval from last week Thursday. Two days ago my husband was on a call with Agent regarding some query but after that no communication at all. Now Christmas holiday coming closer and closer we need some kind of Clarification otherwise we would withdraw the application. If someone can contact my husband. ASAP.

I was leaning towards Lendi for a homeloan after seeing the '1877' reviews with the highest stars than any of big 4 banks, just having a feeling that these may not be genuine.
