Lendi

I used lendi via the Domain website, a friend has also recommended it to me. Everything seems well at the start, simple setup, quick call back and great rates. But when things got serious, I started to feel that all my assigned broker wants to do is to lure me into the ING, that she doesn't care that my situation has changed and was pushing me to keep using ING.

ING currently has 21-day waiting time for pre-approval, it wasn't a problem for me at the start as I was just browsing through properties, then I found a property that I'm interested ...

Follow up call from settlement explained that I had completed variation etc and submitted back to Suncorp last week. Acknowledge that this can take up to a couple of weeks to be processed.

The process of going through Lendi did take a while, but it was worth it in the end. Seemed to be quite thorough process in getting all the information together for the bank and hence having the best chance of securing the loan. Rishi Nandi was my broker and was a likable and professional character to deal with.

The first encounter and support from Mike Lam were great. He provided me with the information that I needed to decide to purchase another property. When it came to the home loan decision time, he reduced my overall interest rate for my investment property and got me a good rate on my additional home loan.

The support after the sale could have been better. The communication about the next steps and timing was a bit uncoordinated and could have been better.

Overall I am a happy customer that got the desired outcome

We were pretty disappointed with Lendi. They made some big mistakes such as saying I was eligible for first home buyer grant when I wasn’t due to my partner having used it before. I didn’t get preapproval in time and missed out on a property although this was ultimately the fault of the bank Lendi promised and didn’t deliver. When I got close to settlement my broker was changed to a young girl who had no idea what was going on and didn’t return phone calls. Terrible, long drawn out experience. Settlement of my loan was stopped due to issues with a property tile, which I was not told about until I followed it up, wondering why I had heard nothing about settlement for weeks. Broker then resubmitted the loan application using a different property title, but requested a standard product instead of an offset product. Despite me raising this at the time, he told me that it would be easy for me to fix with the bank once the loan had settled. I have since wasted hours of my time fixing his mistake, waitin...

The agent ([Name Removed]) is nice but the system is so bad:

1) There are so many bugs / errors while uploading the documents to their platform
2) There are so many back and forth steps to finalise the documents. Before I spent only couple hours with a local agent to finish all required documents but with Lendi it takes 3-4 weeks to submit even though my documents are ready
3) Then it takes ages for them to submit the applications to the bank

I gave up with Lendi after 3 months of processing the application.
Never ever again!!!

Thank you Andrew for prompt service in actioning the rate review. Within a few hours of accepting the revised rates, the information was actioned to reflect on all my loans

My initial experience was OK, Once signed up with them experience was horrible.
Lack of communication, In experience staffs, unnecessary documents asking for loan, Not willing to listen customer properly. Simply wasting customers time. Not recommended at all

I've used Lendi twice now and both times there was error after error causing extended delays. I went back the 2nd time because my current lender advised I had to because they referred me the 1st time. From issuing loan documents for the incorrect amount, constantly having to chase updates and being punted around to multiple different staff members it was an absolute joke. The bad service caused weeks of delays to the commencement of my home renovations, inconveniencing my family and my builder. Will not use them again and will not recommend to anyone.

Andy Levstek NSW was great to deal with , straight talking very experienced just what I needed to steer everything in the right direction.
Overall a good experience and would recommend to friends and family.

We are very thankful for Brendan Reid and the team at Lendi for helping us secure our home loan. Harley, the first person we dealt with was so friendly and helpful. Had a great experience with Julio and the Lendi team. Due to being self employed I had found it difficult to get through all the hoops required for my first home loan. But with Julio's help it made the process a lot easier. Julio was easy to contact, knew what I had to do and seemed to genuinely care about my loan application.

I have used Lendi previously and found them amazing. Using it to get an investment property found them horrible to deal with, documents requested repeatedly, documents not understood or read, had no idea of salary packaging. Told that I needed a quick settlement as there were specific conditions, did not understand contacts and commitments.
Told that it would take 4 days now on day 6 with still no results. Will be looking elsewhere in future.

We found the process to be easy and Aaron kept us informed throughout the whole process ..the rates that Aaron offered us we’re very competitive and his level of customer service was excellent, thanks again for helping us out Aaron.
