It took more than 1 year to do a refinance loan
It took more than a year to refinance a loan missing a better rate as it went up. Also promised calls and then never call. I got the loan in the end but with 1.7% more than when I started the application.
A great experience!
Or Lendi consultant was always helpful and respectful of my time. I think the rate we received was ok considering they are on the rise. Our home loan specialist who came on board late in the process confused matters and requested documents that we had already provided. Not sure why she is necessary?

Unreliable and waste of time
I used Lendi twice, once as a first home buyer and then for refinance. In both instances I got wrong products recommended and the process was so slow that I had to get loan arranged from somewhere else.
During refinance I was suggested HSBC. I patiently waited for 4 months but got an abysmal 3.37% fixed rate offer blaming the bank. I would recommend Lendi to those who want to waste their time.

Very efficient and helpful.
I was very satisfied and happy with the experience I had with Lendi agent Samuel De Swardt. He was very helpful and very quick to respond to any queries or concerns I had with the refinancing of my loan. The interest rate and bank he has secured for me has been better than I had hoped for.

Could get organised before cooling off period.
Kept getting told I would have no issues getting a loan. Made an offer on a property. No response - kept following up. I asked my broker will this be done on time or should I go to my bank because I was not getting a response or any timeframes. On the last day of my cooling off period they said sorry you need a higher deposit. I wouldn't use them ever again. I went straight to a bank and they approved it within an hour. Doesn't take away the fact that a few hours until my cooling off period ended was made super stressful because of this company.

Absolute waste of time!
Extremely disappointed with the service and outcome I received after being promised to be refinanced with HSBC. Lendi had me believe everything looked great and was going to take a couple of weeks to get approved. 2 months later after going through the whole process I get turned down because I’m self employed and run a business. Don’t bother wasting your time! Refinance with someone else as I found a much better company that’s already getting me approved and refinanced.

Very disappointed with Lendi settlement team
The broker i delt with to start the process Eric was fantastic but it went down hill from there , i was sent 2 incorrect bank contracts the settlement member Roneel was very hard to get onto he only returned my call after an email outlining my intentions to contact the ombudsman I was given 6 different settlement dates with a lack of explanation why ? that is totally unacceptable and poor business practise we have excellent credit history which was a straight forward application but clearly for a business that is in this line of work on a daily basis cant even get the simple refinance contract settled in a timely manner this is a real concern .I definitely will not be recommending Lendi to family or friends .

That's it.

It was my biggest mistake trusting an online broker. Everything seems fine at first and turns super slow after I put in my deposit with my purchase.

Wrong information. Poor communication. Disappointing experience
Similar to most others, we started off with our broker smoothly with easy communication. Problems started after all our documentations were submitted and contract signed. We were constantly having to push for updates as we heard nothing from Lendi while trying to arrange the settlement date. The team constantly put the blame on the bank for stalling. It got to a point where our solicitor had to get involved in pushing our broker to take actions. Luckily we had an amazing solicitor who pointed out some serious mistakes including our application...
Read more has been suspended (which our broker and settlement team person did not notice), telling us it's ready for all the parties to book for settlement (which pointed out by our solicitor saying it wasn't). Our solicitor was also the one who reminded us to have money in the account by a particular date (where the Lendi team went MIA). We would probably had missed out the house we love, or had to pay fine for all the postponing and rescheduling if we just relied on the Lendi team to 'help us'. Lendi also has so many different teams for different processes, which made the whole process complex, communication difficult, and the processing time longer. I am sure there are great brokers in Lendi and we just landed on one that wasn't very responsible, or wasn't on top of things. Started out well, contacting me and keeping me up to date but have completely fallen off the wagon now
Started out well. Communication was good. Now I am having to call them every second day with requests to get back to me about where the loan is at and still no calls or emails. I was starting to wonder if I had been scammed.
What a joke this company is
Had a dispute about 6 weeks ago and manager called and we sorted it out ..told everything will be fixed in 21 days..so I proceeded no further as took their word again.. !! What a mistake that was 27 days and still waiting ..should have kept to my guns and principal instead of being understanding..no car taken here..very..very poor

Loan Approved in Record Time
Adam from Lendi was really helpful and got our Investment Loan over the line in record time. Unfortunately once our Loan was approved we had a very stressful time dealing with Kristen. We were emailed the same information more than once and Kristen was difficult to deal with. This was a real shame as we were so impressed with Lendi up until this point.

Started the process of refinancing my home loan and investment loan April 2 2021. July 16 still not finalised. At least 20 calls and lost count of the Amount of emails. Dealt with 3 different brokers so far. Miss a call from lendi and ring back within 5 minutes and not get a response until the next day.
Make an appointment to sign documents at bank and Lendi have only sent half of what is required. Now have Lendi and Westpac telling me it is each other's fault that the documents aren't there.
