Absolute waste of time!
Extremely disappointed with the service and outcome I received after being promised to be refinanced with HSBC. Lendi had me believe everything looked great and was going to take a couple of weeks to get approved. 2 months later after going through the whole process I get turned down because I’m self employed and run a business. Don’t bother wasting your time! Refinance with someone else as I found a much better company that’s already getting me approved and refinanced.
These guys are unprofessional, inefficient, incapable, cost me 4k in penalty due to their slow processing time
It was my biggest mistake trusting an online broker. Everything seems fine at first and turns super slow after I put in my deposit with my purchase.
I was contacted by [Name Removed] on 30th June 2021, he was "confident" as assured me that it would be easy to get the loan through him and the bank he chose AMP (which was just as incapable)
The very first mistake was getting my name wrong, which caused a huge amount of time proofing my name.

Wrong information. Poor communication. Disappointing experience
Similar to most others, we started off with our broker smoothly with easy communication. Problems started after all our documentations were submitted and contract signed. We were constantly having to push for updates as we heard nothing from Lendi while trying to arrange the settlement date. The team constantly put the blame on the bank for stalling. It got to a point where our solicitor had to get involved in pushing our broker to take actions. Luckily we had an amazing solicitor who pointed out some serious mistakes including our application...
Read more has been suspended (which our broker and settlement team person did not notice), telling us it's ready for all the parties to book for settlement (which pointed out by our solicitor saying it wasn't). Our solicitor was also the one who reminded us to have money in the account by a particular date (where the Lendi team went MIA). We would probably had missed out the house we love, or had to pay fine for all the postponing and rescheduling if we just relied on the Lendi team to 'help us'. Lendi also has so many different teams for different processes, which made the whole process complex, communication difficult, and the processing time longer. I am sure there are great brokers in Lendi and we just landed on one that wasn't very responsible, or wasn't on top of things. Buying and settling - Take 2
Dean Hulsmann, our broker is wonderful to deal with. Unfortunately the process is so lengthy, but that is more of a bank issue than the broker themselves. I am very upfront and say exactly what I want, so Dean & I have built a decent relationship over the last 2 years to the point where he knows me well enough that we can communicate really easily.
I can only give 4 stars though, mostly because in my eyes, the settlement team doesn't live up to the same expectations. I know they are incredibly busy at the moment, but the customer should always...

Terrible service
Took over 3 months to settle. Most frustrating process I have ever been through. Never again. Next time I will go straight to the Lender and not use this Company.

Avoid, if time is of any importance to you. It took Lendi 3-4 WEEKS to submit a simple application which had everything ticked from the word go.
Skills to rope in new customers once they have you the phone are top notch but once you are caught in their net, no option but to suffer the delays.
Very hard to talk to, Home Loan specialist will never respond to messages left on their site and will not provide a direct number to contact unless you complaint.

Its Approved...Oh No its Not...
I am most upset. I was informed by [Name Removed] as every stage the pre-approval process that the "bank "Macquarie" had told him they will say yes to dividend income ( they dont) and that they are flexible ( they aren't) that my expenses were ok, ( they were far too high) and that the first house I was interested in he put on the application ( it sold to someone else as I hadn't even put in an offer) and that Yes that application was approved...Hiccup 1, ok, So I look for another house in the same price range assuming I can now borrow $540K. ...

Information provided was consistently incorrect and misleading causing us to almost lose the house we purchased.
Unfortunately, I had no end of issues with Lendi throughout my loan application process. I had to consistently follow up to ensure items were completed. Lendi provided false and misleading information on numerous occasions, including from both the brokers manager and also the senior sales manager.
I only decided to go with a broker as I am extremely time poor due to work and family commitments.

Lendi continuously refused to escalate our loan application even though it was a purchase settlement and I submitted our application before making an offer on a house, on top of this, I also allowed an extended 21 days for finance giving a total of over 25 days to organise finance. Despite the fact that in the end we didn't complete the loan transaction, the service we got from Lendi was very professional. they always kept us informed and reacted quickly to requests. Slow to respond and get back to us
I spent a lot of time uploading documents to Lendi, we had the worst experience with one of the senior brokers. She made appointments with us 3 times, once she was late (benefit of the doubt), second appointment she forgot and then blamed traffic (ok sure), 3rd time she said she would call after 3pm no follow up (it's been a week). Each time it was me chasing here.

I contacted Lendi when I started my first home buying journey, the first broker that helped me was professional, full of knowledge and assisted with my understanding of home loans which seemed like such a foreign language, he made himself available to me on the weekend allowing contact to his mobile, this person unfortunately left the business and I was seeking out other brokers to assist me outside of Lendi. This "senior relationship manager" did the bare minimum, he withheld information such as applying for my loan with a lender I was not aware, not advising of what steps would be involved leading up to settlement that would require me to be out of work, taking leave without advising me of where my application was up to and not being contactable, was non-responsive to my emails and phone calls, was non-communicative to my conveyancer. and would have been the reason for not settling, he made comments throughout my professional relationship about other customers he was dealing "not settling" which were cause for concern. I have no incurred additional conveyancer. fees as a result. Having an online broker allows for flexibility if you are a person with experience in this space. I was left a day before my settlement not knowing what the outcome would be and a request for an extra 6 days. I was left to contact the general Lendi phone number to speak to a number of other people, I eventually got the help of another "senior" who i expressed my dissatisfaction to and who was ale to escalate the matter. I heard nothing from the initial broker and received my information to sign in an email with no support and am not clear as to what has been set up for me, I advise to be mindful of these online brokers especially if you first home buyer and value face to face interaction and communication. My settlement did proceed on the designated day with the help another broker who was able to help me.
