Started off well.
The broker seemed rushed and bias. He expected me to sign the pre-approval paperwork immediately without giving me time to read the terms and conditions. He disappeared on me after I got the pre-approval and did not respond to my emails. I've ended up doing my own research and got a better deal elsewhere.

Follow up call from settlement explained that I had completed variation etc and submitted back to Suncorp last week. Acknowledge that this can take up to a couple of weeks to be processed.

Lendi loan process
The process of going through Lendi did take a while, but it was worth it in the end. Seemed to be quite thorough process in getting all the information together for the bank and hence having the best chance of securing the loan. The Sales Process was great
The first encounter and support from Mike Lam were great. He provided me with the information that I needed to decide to purchase another property. When it came to the home loan decision time, he reduced my overall interest rate for my investment property and got me a good rate on my additional home loan.
The support after the sale could have been better. The communication about the next steps and timing was a bit uncoordinated and could have been better.
Overall I am a happy customer that got the desired outcome

Buying and settling - Take 2
Dean Hulsmann, our broker is wonderful to deal with. Unfortunately the process is so lengthy, but that is more of a bank issue than the broker themselves. I am very upfront and say exactly what I want, so Dean & I have built a decent relationship over the last 2 years to the point where he knows me well enough that we can communicate really easily.
I can only give 4 stars though, mostly because in my eyes, the settlement team doesn't live up to the same expectations. I know they are incredibly busy at the moment, but the customer should always...

Incompetent Broker
They have good concept to help people looking for better options. I think it works out well for refinances, but for new loans they are not the one to approach. Many undisclosed factors
1. Timelines even when known by broker not disclosed to customer... e.g ANZ taking 8 weeks to pick file.
2. Incompetent knowledge on how to handle complex files - broker was just unable to highlight risks upfront from the files provided. Where in you expect broker to read your files correctly and thoroughly.

Second time no better
They take way too long to get documents sorted. Then when there is a s notuff up takes a while to sort out. However it does get sorted out well and they are always polite and helpful. This is our third loan with them. The worst thing is you need AT LEAST 45-60 days to settle. Once they approve everything then you need to comply with the bank they choose for you. Fair enough but each loan has different requirements etc that take a while. Nothing beats having a bank manager. So they are good but their banks they deal with can drag things out.

Very good service
Despite the fact that in the end we didn't complete the loan transaction, the service we got from Lendi was very professional. they always kept us informed and reacted quickly to requests. Slow to respond and get back to us
I spent a lot of time uploading documents to Lendi, we had the worst experience with one of the senior brokers. She made appointments with us 3 times, once she was late (benefit of the doubt), second appointment she forgot and then blamed traffic (ok sure), 3rd time she said she would call after 3pm no follow up (it's been a week). Each time it was me chasing here.
