Household asset
Carefully evaluated many stick vacuums and very happy that I choose this one.
What is hard to decipher is the varying reviews on these types of vacs in general.
What I had: a modern, quality name brand barrel type - and I've never used it again. My place is 1/3 short carpet and 2/3 tiles

Read morerd floor head is good at picking dirt etc off hard floors and goes right up to the edge. You don't need anything other than the lowest speed so it conserves battery (and it's QUIET). The vac is very manoeuvrable and goes under my lounge no problem. The carpet head is also good at what it does. This setup removes lint from the carpet that my barrel, with motorised head, wouldn't. It lifts the pile better than my corded barrel too. For a quick clean, speed 1 or 2 is ok. To lift the pile on my short nap carpet and thoroughly clean I need the high speed, and that will expend that battery in the time it takes to clean 2 bedrooms floor to floors all corners, crevices etc. But - you have the second battery. The carpet head direct on the motor is great for the car carpets too.Purchased in April 2020.

Great cordless Vac
I have owned the A9MULTI cordless vac for 15 months and use it on an almost daily basis.
The multi head is great on all types of floors and it picks up pet hair with ease, the suction is better than my old upright Dyson.
It is a really compact and tidy unit that tucks away nicely in the corner of the laundry and is always powered up and ready for use.
Its also easy to change/clean the filters and maintain the unit.
So much more convenient than dragging out the old corded vac.
Purchased in January 2019 at Harvey Norman for $760.00.

Good on hard floor
I Use the vacuum on hard floors-tile and vinyl. It fills quickly and can be quite loud along the tiles however picks dirt up well and is easy to empty.
Purchased in April 2020 at Betta Home Living for $665.00.

Nothing but problems,
Constant issues with the battery sent it back to LG who said it was fine. that now only lasts 30 seconds- buyer beware, For a top of the range vacuum this is a very poor product

Do yourself a favour - Buy a Dyson!
My husband purchased this vacuum cleaner I. May 2018 from Harvey Norman at the Supacentre. From the beginning I thought it was pretty average as i would always have to go over an area multiple times to get it tidy. However, the battery very quickly started to fade and by January this year, it was down to 5 minutes between each full charge. It’s now down to about 45 seconds, so I’ve given up and just started using my dust buster.
Not the best result for a $700 vacuum!
I’ll be buying a Dyson.

LG Customer Care - BEWARE
I highly advise anyone that wants to purchase a stick vacuum to steer clear of LG, or any LG product. Their customer care and service is rubbish. My vacuum pretty much snapped whilst VACUUMING carpet and i naively took it out of my way to the service centre rightly thinking its a warranty issue as machine is only 8 months old, they have pretty much dismissed me after my case manager from the resoltion centre avoided me after 6 days of calls. Also, the service centre said its faulty/ damaged and cannot ascertain how the damage was caused, so up...
Read more to LG to determine the outcome. I never publicly complain but Its the principle of the issue, a vacuum that breaks whilst doing what its supposed to do. I Had to file a complaint with ACCC. To top it off i recommended this vacuum to so many people because other than this it is a great product. Plus, when it was 6 months old, the pole was not working when changing the height, however this was fixed under warranty. Quality of parts from experience not good, design and suction plus time, great. Service - terrible.Purchased in July 2018 at Bing Lee Physical store for $499.00.

I had similar problem and rung LG customer for battery replacement in Jan 2020 and still haven't received the replacement battery. Now the 2nd battery start having problem too which I'm paying $700 for such a crapy product and poor customer service.
