Battery life terrible
I purchased this cord zero vacuum in August 2018 and after just over a year the first battery stopped charging altogether. I swapped batteries and now have found the other one has died completely. For a vacuum that is less than 2.5years old, and which is rarely used, seems unacceptable to have such poor life. At a replacement cost of $120 each I am pretty unhappy. My old Dyson stick vacuum lasted 7 years before needing a replacement battery. I went for the LG because I liked the idea of having a second one on hand, but it’s useless if they don’t last. ☹️
Purchased in August 2018 for $600.00.

Decent vacuum, terrible customer service from LG.
Pretty happy with the vacuum, does the job, very unhappy with the after sales service from LG, battery died in August ‘19, still in the 1 year warranty period, its mid Feb ‘20, Ive called multiple times and it still hasn’t turned up.
Purchased in September 2017 at The Good Guys for $900.00.

Leaves a grimy, swirly film on floors...so disappointed!
I coveted this mop head for my LG cordless vacuum for about a year before finally buying one. I found very few objective online reviews...so here’s mine after three weeks of continuous use. I have three dogs and an average area of hard floors so a power mop seemed just the thing. Unfortunately the saying, “if it sounds too good to be true...” applies to this mop. Read moren hot water after every single use, and even changing them for clean ones half way through but it doesn’t help. It’s great how it vacuums as well as mops but it’s just not leaving my floors clean at all. It takes just as much time and effort as a regular mop (I was using a spin mop) but without the desired result. By the time you fill the reservoir, dampen the mop heads and clip the Power Drive Mop head onto the vacuum, you then need to proceed so slowly over your floor mopping/vacuuming. It’s tedious as the mop heads turn slowly and there is gap in between them so you need to go over and over and over the floor. For the same effort, I’d much rather use my spin mop where you can use hot water and detergent, and rinse the dirt from the mop head as you go. With this mop, you are trying to wash the floor with grimy mop heads (once they accumulate some dirt)...it just doesn’t work. My floors aren’t even that dirty to begin with. I have to keep using the darn thing too, having convinced my husband we should buy it. But when he’s not home, I’m going back to using the spin mop. Thank goodness he doesn’t (usually) read reviews like this! This is a review for the Power Drive mop head only, not the LG Cordless Vacuum which I absolutely love and have owned and used daily for over a year now. So...save your money, unless you only have a very small, cleanish hard floor area.Purchased in December 2019 for $300.00.

It sucks because it doesn’t!!!!
Used it on all surfaces and at the beginning it was great now it barely holds a charge and the dust canister is sooo annoying to empty! Never again LG

I accidentally rinsed a bit of water through the motor.... I was sort of just rushing through the cleaning process and completely forgot that the motor couldn’t be wet. I’m letting it dry for more than 24 hours, maybe 2 days to be safe. Any chance it’ll still work??? Please let me know as soon as you can. We absolutely love this vaccum, it’s one of the best purchases we’ve ever made. Thank you so much.
