Suction is fairly poor.
The vacuum works alright with the power head but is fairly useless with out that attachment. Doesn’t clean cars or furniture very well and also doesn’t pick up very well off of timber floors.
Our first one broke after 1 month and it took over 30 days to get a replacement head.
Wouldn’t buy this product again.
Purchased in April 2020 at JB Hi-Fi Retail Stores for $500.00.

Great at first but unfortunately didn't last
I purchased the LG A9MASTER stick vac Nov 18. The additional battery, on/off switch, free standing dock and 2 year warranty swayed me away from Dyson.
I used it every couple of days on hard floor & carpet and I was relatively happy with it until it failed whilst I was vacuuming carpet in August 2020. Whilst pushing forward, the entire wand detached from the main housing - the nozzle spout component had snapped right off leaving it totally inoperable.
At LG's direction, I took it to the closest service repair center for assessment 45 kilomet...
Read moreers away - 50 min drive for me (2 hr, 90 km round trip). I had to do this trip twice at my cost and drag my kids along. At first, LG declined to repair my unit and explained it wasn't a manufacturing defect and that this particular component of plastic only breaks under misuse or being accidently dropped. Not your best approach LG. I lost count of all the frustrating phone calls I made. I had to escalate the issue to actually get anywhere. By this point I had purchased an alternative stick vac just to keep my sanity. Weeks later, LG offered to repair my unit however I declined as I was now out of pocket. Long story short.....it took 7 weeks to get my refund from the retailer. Don't think I'll ever buy LG again.Purchased in November 2018 at Appliances Online for $689.00.

Good vacuum for quick clean
I purchased mine about 5 months ago and haven’t had any issues with it except that it’s only good if u want to quickly clean a room as the batteries longevity is not great and constantly needs to be charged

Good vac with very poor battery quality
I have Makita cordless products that one 5amp hour battery can run a grinder for 5x longer than what the lg battery can run the cord zero. I think Lg should do a deal with makita to supply their batteries and send me a couple new ones . Other than crap batteries the vac itself is fine in my opinion.

Good cordless vacuum
This vacuum is quite good. The suction is ok and the battery life is ok too. The filtration is excellent and the noise level is not too bad. When cleaning with the powered head attachments, it performs very well.
Purchased in November 2018 at The Good Guys for $900.00.

Great motor, disappointing casing quality :(
Ive had the LG cord zero A9 for almost 12 months. It is my first cordless vacuum cleaner. My home is pretty small, no Capet or rugs- just laminate boards and tiles. A family home with pets.
Pros
- great to have a second battery
- convenient to have the stand that comes with it
- great suction, perfect for every day use
- love being able to wash the filter
- havent needed to use my big corded Vax since purchasing this vacuum

Read more- poor quality casing - for a $800 vacuum cleaner I would expect durable, high quality casings, but as shown in pictures, bits have fallen off and cracked. Ive had to sticky tapes bits back on! Very disappointed. Replacement parts can be bought but expensive (unreasonably so given how cheaply they are made) - on/off button is starting to get stuck - great for every day use, not powerful enough for good result on car carpetPurchased in November 2019 at JB Hi-Fi for $800.00.
Great Vacuum but the battery life is atrocious!
This is a great vacuum don't get me wrong, it vacumms very well. The batteries are however are a different story. At the start they would vacuum for at least 20 minutes and after a few months you will only get a minute out of each battery. Absolutely terrible battery life even when on charge all the time. I have two batteries, however struggle to vacuum my small house with two.

Two batteries Good suction
Not a very practical machine, you can’t charge the battery unless it’s in the unit so if one battery goes flat and the second battery goes flat you have to wait till the first battery charges up before you can vacuum again. Dump.
I already sold it and moved it on not happy with it at all overpriced waste of money very heavy

I accidentally rinsed a bit of water through the motor.... I was sort of just rushing through the cleaning process and completely forgot that the motor couldn’t be wet. I’m letting it dry for more than 24 hours, maybe 2 days to be safe. Any chance it’ll still work??? Please let me know as soon as you can. We absolutely love this vaccum, it’s one of the best purchases we’ve ever made. Thank you so much.
