Cons outweigh the pros
This is my first lg tv, let me first say that I’v had Sony ,Samsung, ,hisense TVs , this lgs hd/4K sharpness picture quality is the best in my opinion , apart from an oled pioneer I had , the sound quality is better than those TVs too , now for the bad points ,
This things os is as slow as my 2001 hp pc , very very laggy, this so called smart remote is a nightmare , the track wheel is very sensitive , when I try to use it I have to use two hands so it doesn’t more all over the joint, I bought this tv because on reviews it was said to be one of the best budget TVs for sd content old tv shows ,what a big disappoint , also the tv feels sound flimsy like it’s made out of the cheapest material .
Would I purchase another lg tv

Operating system clunky
Good value for money when purchased in November for under $700. Operating system laggy and not really up to the normal full Android standards of usability. Audio outputs for headphones requires additional D/A convertor and only the optical output available as no 3.5mm provided.

Good but not great.
So I’ve been along time supporter of lg TVs, and one of the main reasons is because I’ve found the software to always be very responsive and reactive even on the older plasma TVs compared to Samsung even Sony etc. This tv is good awesome picture, good usability, everything you would expect. Except that the operating system seems to be slower than previous models. Especially when you select the guide on tv its very laggy and every time you open (not for the first time this is during continuous operation) the guide needs to load before it opens, ...then load yet again the content. My previous plasmas and lcds etc are one load when you first power the tv then after that it’s instant more or less. And the same can be said for apps they take longer to load. So all in all am I happy with the tv yes, but the main reason I picked the lg was the consistency of the speedy software m, but not so much the case with this purchase. But all in all I’m happy

Great value for money for a smart TV, with a couple of cons.
I originally bought a Sony Bravia tv and I was very happy with it until a persistent sound problem developed and I had to change it over within 2 weeks.
After experiencing the Sony, the LG was quite a bit different in the user interface. Not as intuitive, and a bit confusing at first but I have managed to install and work out how to use the features I need. It is not a full Android operating system, so it's a bit underdone in that department, but for me, what I want is first and foremost a TV, not another computer, so it's fine for us.
I ha...ve a JBL sound bar which integrates with the LG TV perfectly and sounds great. The TV speakers are adequate for a TV but for added depth and range of sound a sound bar is a nice addition with most TVs. What I REALLY like is the natural colours of the picture. The SONY colour pallette was very artificial and overly bright, but the LG looks natural. The sound quality is great too. Natural and undistorted. Overall, so far I really like the LG 43", but if you are really finicky about operating systems and being able to fully integrate your Android features with a TV, spend a bit more and go for a full Android Smart TV.

Great Picture, software a bit glitchy
The software isnt the most user friendly and the LG App Store isn't the most.... up to date. Samsung definitely leads the field in apps and software.
Refresh Rate and picture on this is great.
Does not work with Google Home as advertised
They claim it works with Google Home, but it is only the Assistant built into the TV, and that is just glorified voice commands. It can ONLY WORK by pressing a tiny button on the remote (not ideal).
To connect the TV to Google Home, the VT must run software version 4. This TV does not get past software version 3.10.60. They KNOW this, it is on their website, and their support team told me.
If you want this TV to work with Google Home as advertised, do not buy it!
I spend 5 days waiting for their team to call me back to troubleshoot. They did...

Some good points, but bad viewing angle.
Good picture quality sitting straight in front.
Good sound quality
Reasonable purchase price
Mouse pointer is handy.
WiFi works well ( its quite close to the router)
NOT so good points...
Very bad picture at angles, as little as 20 deg either side of centre and colours fade away.
At 40 deg skin tones are nearly white and look awfull.
It can be slow to move around the interface up to 7 seconds (even more) depending on where...

One month old tv, broken twice already
bought this TV one month ago. couple of dead pixel appeared. HDMI ARC working occationly. Contact JB HI and LG. have to wait about a week for technical to come. and I need to take a day off waiting for them to come. finally, Panel was replaced this morning. It was working fine but when I opened tv after work at home. the whole screen become Black and white stripe. not very happy with this quality from LG. I don't know how long again I have to wait for LG come to fix this.
Unbelievable quality picture TV
I could not be happier with this incredible TV. We bought a cheaper 4K TV 12 months ago and the difference is staggering. The picture quality on this TV is better than I could've hoped and I'm a real tech head. Motion is super fluid, colours are great, picture modes are excellent for gaming, and the functions and features (apps especially) are unbelievable. I can't remember the last time I was so happy with a product, especially at the price. I wouldn't even consider any other TV in this price range - LG has knocked it out of the park (and I've never owned any LG product before). Only complaint is the legs are poorly made and snap easily when trying to attach - the screws provided fix the problem easily though.

I am amazed at what I can do with this TV
I bought this LG TV a few months ago and have just been watching the free to air TV. A friend came to visit. She has one the same and introduced me to the wonders of the LG that I knew nothing about. I would recommend the LG to anyone who wants to watch pre programs.

Will not buy another LG TV
After some consideration we decided our new 65 inch TV would be an LG, and regret it! We own a small 32 inch LG smart TV installed with WebOS and it was quite slow, but as we were familiar with an LG smart TV before, we decide to go with LG again HOPING a new TV would be faster. We were wrong! This new 65 inch UN 7300 LG TV of 2020 model is still so slow!!! Switching between apps, or simply opening the TV guide will take a few (3 seconds or more) to load the app, and when you switch to another app and go back, everything is loaded again. The TV...cannot remember where you left off before. We are following a game show on 7 Plus and if we left off in the middle, the next time you open it you need to fast forward, and it can only be fast forwarded about 15 seconds per second, so it takes 2 real minutes to fast forward a 30 minute content. What's more, we schedule recording a TV program and the TV records the wrong program (I think it's because the program planned start time and actual start times are different). Let's make it fair, I borrowed 2 TVs of the same size from my neighbours. One of them was TCL running Android, the other was Samsung running Tizen. Guess what? The TCL and Samsung when connected to the same network (I used wired connection for all these 3 TVs) ran surprisingly smooth and FAST. Both TCL and the Samsung TV open the Youtube and other apps within half a second, they are even so fast that when you click on youtube, it is already fully loaded with recommendations while the LG TV slowly loads the content (I say again, each of them are tested one after another and all of them are connected to the same Internet cable, so Internet is not an issue). The TCL and Samsung TV was so fast to open the TV guide also (it opens right away when you click on the button, unlike the LG TV that takes a few seconds for it to prepare the guide - happening even when you open the guide, close it, then immediately opens it again - I'm shocked this is called a smart TV!!!) On the good side, the TV has very good display, with better colour and picture quality than the TCL P8S, but not as good as the Samsung Q60T (as the Samsung is actually a QLED display) The sound and the build of this LG TV are also good. The LG remote control can also act as a mouse pointer, which is really convenient especially when typing. Above all, I want to enjoy the TV, not waiting for it to load things all the time and get mad. Some of my experience with youtube when I'm scanning for something is like: Open youtube (3s) search for video, open it (2s), get 30 seconds advertising, recognise it's the wrong video, go back (2s), click on another video, get another 30 seconds for advertising, recognise it's the wrong video, go back again (2s) and this goes on until I'm frustrated and search for it from my phone instead. I regret buying this TV. If you are an LG fan, go for it but this will be my last LG TV for years to come unless they improve the quality of their apps.

Have not had the best experience
I purchased this tv on the 19/05/20 and I have not had the best experience. I can barely get a stable 24mbps using an Ethernet cable connection. Tv picture quality and features are amazing but the internet connectivity is shocking. I’ve tried contacting LG, someone guided me through a process of checking different settings and then after all that I still said no it’s not working. She may of misheard me as she replies” okay call back if it’s not working” then hands up. I’ve tried changing Ethernet cables to a brand new one and still No change....The modem is literally 7metres at max away from the tv and plugged into the tv via Ethernet cable and yet my Samsung 50inch in another room more then 15metres away gets a better internet connection using wifi, I have no idea what is going on! It has been more of a hassle then a pleasure so far

Early days but quite good so far
Easy to set up. Netflix easy to access. Google search enables bookmarking digital radio stations etc. The remote control pointer is good and I hadn’t seen that before. Sound is better than my last TV especially for the digital on line radio. Picture is good but I assume not as good as the more expensive options but overall very good for the price. Good range of options for picture and sound qualities. Overall very good for a reasonable price. Only complaint is a small one - literally. Why is the power chord so short - especially ially if you want to wall mount it and combine it with the other cords on the other side of the TV. Another 600mm or so wouldn’t add much to the cost.

Beautiful picture quality 10/10
I was replacing a 9 year old 32" Samsung that I was very happy with but had been damaged during a move, so decided I'd get a 43" and read all the TV reviews. I only have basic needs with a TV (don't need Alexa, or streaming etc) but did want access to Free View to watch catch up TV for Iview and SBS on Demand. I was surprised to find a lot of new TVs don't support this anymore, so decided on the LG, which does. As I have basic TV needs I was going to go with a TCL or Hisense but the stores were vague on whether they supported FreeView or not.... It's been difficult to actually find a smaller TV as local stores have no stock, and if they get anything in, they sell out immediately. For me, spending $900 is a big deal and I want to see the TV and compare it to other brands. I finally got to see the LG and found the picture to be excellent, and realised all I had been missing out on compared to my old TV. For example, there's a TV ad with a girl wearing yellow pants and I didn't realise the pants had stripes on them until now - there is such a big difference in picture quality. I have found that the sound is ok. Speech is fine, when watching the news for example but music and movie soundtracks are not as good, especially the bass. After a bit of experimenting I've settled on 'cinema mode'. If you watch a lot of movies or games you may want to consider a sound bar. The TV was easy to set up and tune the channels straight out of the box, and connect to the internet. The "magic" remote control is easy to use, with a pointer on the screen. It's easy to find everything on the 'aps' page with Netflix, Stan, Disney, Apple TV, Time Video, Google Play etc etc - if you use them - I don't. I've also enjoyed using 'airplay' where I display my laptop screen on the TV, to look at photos etc. So bottom line, I probably won't ever use all the features this TV has, and there are a lot, but on picture quality alone I'd give this a 10/10. I ended up purchasing this from Appliances Online that price matched and also helped with the research on TVs that support FreeView.

Amazing TV at very good price
Simply loved it. Magic remote is best of all. Resolutions and colors are brilliant. Definitely yes to recommend when any one approached me whether to buy this TV or not. Even got voice recognition technology too
