Cleans Clothes Well
Clothes come out very clean.
The only reason why I have taken off a star is because the clothes & sheets can get tangled as the machine doesn't have a reverse spin.
Super quiet operation and very heavy machine that doesn't go 'walking'.
I would still happily purchase this washing machine again.

Paint coming off machine, LG blames it on me
We've had this machine for under 2 years. I use it several times a week and have been happy with it. I mostly use the 'eco cycle', the delicate cycle, and the steam setting. I really appreciate the steam setting - the shirts look ironed! But this week, I noticed some dark marks under the soap drawer. I wiped the marks with a sponge and the PAINT CAME OFF. I notice another reviewer had exactly the same experience - rust under the soap drawer. I would consider this really shoddy workmanship. Our last washing machine lasted over 10 years without a...ny paint coming off. I have submitted a customer request to LG, but based on the other man's experience (on this review site), I suspect that LG is about to blame it on me. It has a 2 year warranty (10 year motor warranty) and I see this as a warranty issue. Update: I found paint is coming off the bottom of the same metal panel. (See second photo) Update: LG called me and, as I suspected, blamed it on me. They said it must be whatever I'm putting in the soap drawer. They asked me questions like "Do you use front loader or top loader detergent" and "What brand of detergent", as though it has anything to do with the detergent. They said they can send out a technician but the technician will probably find that it's my fault, and that I will have to pay for the technician's visit. So unfortunately I need to give this product a big DO NOT BUY.

Seal has split after 20 months and they don't want to it covered under warranty. 5 Years Concierge Gold doesn't cover this either.
Never buy from LG or Good Guys again that's for sure

Don't buy LG
I brought a LG front loader from Harvey Norman in cairns its just over 4 yrs old paid service fee of $100 and told cost of repair around $600 LG wanted nothing to do with it. What a joke.
Do not by lg products. There service is pathetic!! I this is the first time I purchased lg and it will be the last and will encourage others not to buy there products

If u have lots of time to waste, buy from LG
I bought a washing machine from LG through good guys tamworth on 19/12/2018. This machine is just one year old and is still covered by full warranty. Last Saturday 11/01/2020 the motor failed. I rang LG to organise a technician to come and give a resolution. The technician came to my place on Monday and said it will be a major repair and there’s no good to fix it either. And I’ve been trying to contact LG till today. From Monday to Friday it’s been 5 working days their answers are “our case manager will contact u in 48 hours”. No matter what I ...tried, online chat or phone, I rang 9 times today, they put me on hold for 10 minutes and the line automatically cut off. I’m not getting anywhere and I’m desperate cos I have 3 young children and each day I have a lot of washing to be done. I need someone to help me. LG is doing doggy business here. I need a new washing machine ASAP but they muck me around and I really have no one to turn to except fair training. The machine itself is an absolute joke, the motor failed in a year, for a machine $1300?! But not just that, their so-called customer care? It’s an even bigger joke. I will never ever buy anything that’s from LG. This is the last time and I regretted it very very much. I should have gone Borsch. I mean instead of organise a replacement promptly I would be still happy to give them another chance but their customer service is absolutely pathetic and no one should go through this like I did but it seems to be their practice these days that u must go to fair trading to get a resolution.

The product is great. The noise level is very low as compared to other products.
I was all kind of clothes in it and it gives fabulous result every time. Very satisfied with the product. It leaves no lint, unlike other products of other brands.
Poor support from LG Australia
When purchased i was happy with the product until a few weeks ago when I found rust below the soap draw. I wrote in to LG about it, and they said that it was my fault for not maintaining the machine or using harsh cleaning chemicals on the outside. Still waiting for LG to come back to me.

Very good washing machine
I have bought this washing machine for two months and this washing machine works very well. But I cannot put this washing machine on the wifi so I cannot start it if I am away
Love the short cycle, but clothes have to be pre-soaked
I love front loader, LG is great machine, however the newest models have too many operation which people don't use and the fast cycle still works best. I tried on 100"C but the stains still did not get out, and the clothes were too wrinkled. Pre-soaking does the trick. Just soak your clothes overnight in any washing powder and just wash in the morning on 30 min quick without putting more detergent. Some stain still need to be treated before, no washing machine would get them out, does not matter what is the brand.

Good but Takes a long time!
Family of 4 just recently bought an lg front loader. Yes it washes better than my old top loader but putting a load on this morning of towels and it’s over 5 hours ! Trying to get all my washing done over the weekend would be practically impossible if that’s how long a washing machine takes these days! Give me back my top loader any day

Love it! Great for families!
I can wash everything in this machine thoroughly and efficiently especially dirty tradie clothing. It’s features are state of the art and it has many different settings. Large capacity which is so convenient. Delicates come out beautifully and the cycle times range from short to long so all round a great machine!

Very happy with LG washing machine. Well built and good quality. Previously was using a Bosch which was good but more expensive than LG. So far no issue with the LG one at all

quality and reliability
I personally love this machine. its super easy to work with and i am really happy for buying this. one of the good things about this machine is its capacity which i really needed.

Good machine - little expensive
The machine with all the bells and whistles of modern technology. Was mulling between this one and another Miele model but glad I went for it. Overall, good machine and is very water efficient it seems. Sometimes it seems that the drum is smaller than the size provided maybe it's just me but I just don't find it big enough to fit some blankets that I could easily do with my older one in same weight range.

Great machine with great results!
I bought the LG WD1411SBW 11kg Front Load Washing Machine with TrueSteam from Appliances Online over a month ago to replace an old 7L Westinghouse top loader and I'm so pleased that I did! This machine is the current top rated washing machine by Choice and I can concur that the dirt removal is exceptional, rinse performance and water efficiency are all very good. The steam function is brilliant it means that when I pull clothes out they are virtually dry and require much less time on the line to dry. The capacity is massive and means that I can...now fit twice as many clothes in one load. There is an option for cycles from 15mins to 3.5hours (1 hr option works very well) so no need to worry about options for short cycles. The amount of customisation for each wash cycle is excellent. The only negative I've found with this machine is that our WiFi signal can't be detected in the location of the washing machine so the Smart function isn't open to us, but so far the machine is working perfectly (noise is minimal) so no need to troubleshoot with the app yet!

Not what I was hoping for! Sounds great but overall disappointed
The wash cycles are very long. I bought the 11kg washer as I needed a washer that was big enough to wash sheets, blankets. Ongoing problems with pipes since installation.

Questions & Answers
Reasonably happy with machine performance but still trying to get my head around most energy efficient water temperature. The eco cycle uses water set at 60 degrees, is that really the cheapest way to wash? With houseful of teenagers the biggest component of our power bill is the hot water we go through with all of their long hot showers. I do probably 10 loads a week. We pay for water and power but power is the more expensive of the two, so I would really like to understand how to get the most economical use of the machine. Thanks
I’m looking at purchasing the LG WD1411SBW but have read some criticism based on long cycle times. How long does a cycle take ? Jo
You can do a reasonable cycle in an hour using the turbo function. The longest cycles are if you use cold water. Most of time I set to 30 degrees and that takes 2.5 hours for full load. You can do a 15 minute quick cycle but that's for one or two items at most and the spin is not as good.
Hi guys can you plz tell me what the shortest wash time is on this washing machine plz..
