It works! Still working after 18 months. Have been very happy with it.

Won’t repeat this mistake again.
I’ve had this machine for 14 months and twice now it has stopped working. It may have a long warranty, but when waiting for it to be fixed, I’m without a washing machine for weeks.
Purchased in at The Good Guys for $760.
My advice. Buy something else
I thought this machine with heaps of water levels would be great ..wrong! ... it's a pain in the neck doing the little dance to decide for itself the settings. An absolute time waster, I have better things to do then wait to correct auto settings set by this machine! NO from me !
Purchased in at The Good Guys for $700.
A great washing machine
I had the 8kg model, which lasted 10 years. I have just replaced it with the latest (8.5kg) version as I was so impressed with the longevity and washing ability of my last machine. I love the tempered glass lid, I love that it doesn’t have an agitator in the middle (so I can fit more in!) and the price was quite reasonable- around $900. I don’t sort colours- just chuck it all in! The press button panel and menus are easy to use, washing time for an average load for a family of four is 1hr on the cotton warm water setting, but it washes just as

My old machine would still be running just fine had I followed the LG instructions not to use fabric softener in the machine. Lesson learnt!Purchased in for $930.

No no no, don't buy this machine.
Loved my front loader lg , when lost in floods only option was top loader lg. Awful machine, doesn't weigh cloths properly, so have to wait to adjust water level. Clothes arnt clean after washing. The machine is crape. Never again will I touch LG machines especially the top loaders again. It's going to be sold on gumtree. Avoid avoid avoid.
Purchased in at Harvey Norman Big Buys for $800.
excellent machine
have washed quite a few loads with my new machine and I am perfectly happy; it is easy to install and use and is working quietly, the clothes come out clean and I am happy with the results; I also do not have any problems with the spin cycle, clothes come out as dry as they can possibly be after spin drying; excellent product

ANNOYING TO USE
DEFINATELY NOT RECCOMENDED ! Techinalogical marvel. From user perspective JUST ANNOYING, SLOW, OVER-PRODUCED. TOO MANY BUTTONS. ETC, ETC
"check drain hole" AT THE BOTOM AT THE BACK... DUH !! To wash how I want it. Has to go through it's own timewasting regmarole BEFORE it will wash with MY settings. 1 month old. For sale 1/2 price.
Purchased in for $850.
Great digital washing machine. Great capacity.
Have had no issues with damaged clothing or linen. Love this washing machine. Can do hot, warm or cold plus has many other wash cycles, minutes for each wash and 3 levels of spin. Has 2 programs which gives 8 styles of washing. Best machine I have ever owned
I have just received my new LG. I use the cold wash and am so impressed by how the machine operates.
Easy to understand easy to use. Clothes do not wrinkle as much. I use it for all my clothes. Water efficient. Cycle times good but you can change the cycles with ease.
Purchased at The Good Guys Physical store for $1,200.

perfection, no problems
Usually I wash all general items sheets towels and small blankets included.I find the controls and performance of the washing machine first class, and have had no problems. Delicate washes and cycle times are very adequate. All in all I am very happy with this machine.

Never buying LG product again/The worst washing machine and worst customer service
Hi everyone
Because I’m forced to rate i put a star but the rate is not even zero it’s less
My post is about a faulty washing machine and the way LG team dealt with my complaint
I bought the washing machine on February 2019 a few month and our clothes stared to smell like stinky smell, I thought it’s my fault
So since then I started getting cleaning product, using tub clean, and searched on the net for ideas to solve this problem and tried them all without exception, but we still had the same smell.
Since that time I spent so much on clean

Was expecting the worst from these reviews
Purchased machine from good guys. Came home, read the reviews and cried. I thought, what have I done? Well, the machine has not been a disappointment. It washes fine, clothes aren't overly creased, there has been one occurrence of lint on sheet but not as bad as my old FP. I really love the lint catchers, it's fun to see how much lint has been captured after each wash. I don't use the auto settings, I manually select water level etc. So far I feel relieved. The only downside is that I have heard other washers have a go-to-woah 15 minute cycle. The shortest I can set in this LG is 55 minutes. That's long.
Purchased in at The Good Guys for $799.
One bad issue one annoying issue
Good except for two issues, one of them serious - The drain hose at the back comes off far too easily and the clip fitting is Far too difficult for the average hand to put it on again without it slipping off yet again. The person who installed it from the store was a very strong man and it still came off, which it did and flooded my whole laundry and lounge room and all I could do was stand and watch it happen - there was nothing I could do about it Except run around desperately trying to mop up the mess before it ruined my lounge room wooden

The other annoying issue was the fact that whenever I lifted the lid the water stopped filling which I never encountered with my former LG washing machines, and took me by surprise as I cannot see the point of it - perhaps I will get a response From LG representatives to tell me why they had to change something that worked so well?Purchased in for $749.

Our new LG WTG8521 top loader is nicely presented and my partner likes the self closing lid but in an age of Power Conservation the LG - WTG8521 model wastes Electricity as it does not spin the clothes dry at the end of the cycle and since we are elderly and the clothes are heavily laden with water and still soaking wet my partner is not able to lift them out of the machine unless she re-spins the load and this in turn consumes yet another 16minutes of Electricity on every wash. unlike our previous Hoover top loader that gave us some twenty ye

Consequently, my partner keeps reminding me that we should have chosen the Fisher & Paykel as it spins at 1100 rpm for its spin speed. My partner also misses the genuine mechanical turn dial to set the cycle anyway times change and I believe that the central processing unit that runs these machines is cheaper to manufacture which is a pity for the consumer as it does not seem as reliable over time.Purchased in for $698.

We have had this washing machine for a few months and ran 'tub clean', but, although the process takes a long time, it does not seem to use hot water. How can it clean without hot water? Does any one else have the same problem, and, if so, how did you fix it?
The machine is just crap, wish I had never bought mine. I have done the tub clean it's hopeless. Don't forget to clean the lint catcher on each side of the machine.
Never again will I buy LG washing machines. They lost me big time.
I haven't done the tub clean so no help there. Sorry.
does this machine cause bed sheets to become like a ball and makes it hard to un tangle?
My previous LG top loader had a ‘favourites’ setting.
Can I do the same with this model?
It’s most annoying having to reset every wash.
I don't think so ... I have had to reset every wash. The lint filters are the most frustrating part of the machine ... so hard to get out, I hate cleaning them and you have to clean them regularly.
That’s a bummer.
Had my previous LG for 20 years and loved it which is why I bought the same style again :(
Hi Annette, I to had an LG nearly identical and had no trouble with it, so thought ide buy another once ours died and totally regret it. I get brownish slush l over my clothes and I have to gernie the machine out, have had technician out and LG say the machine does what it claims to do. Have tried to contact LG and terrible service all round, which is so disappointing cause I always bought LG appliances until now. I won't ever purchase another LG product again. Don't do it. Buy a speed queen that's what I should have done and wouldn't have to now just put up with a machine that's terrible.
Also for anyone with so called "Hard water"(bore water) these machines are terrible for. Apparently they are aware of this but won't tell you when you buy it.. so just keep that in mind. We had our water tested and it's actually really soft but still didn't make any difference :(.
Thanks Renee
Looks like I’m stuck with this one
