Review changed from 5 star to 1 star
This bike has been nothing but trouble since after the 2nd month. My monitor stopped working 4 times. To give them credit, each time they sent me a new one (the wrong one once) but this has taken hours on email to get this to happen as they require recent date stamped videos each time (4 times).
But, that is the least of it. The bike squeaked and rattled from month 2. We tried to fix it, and would be successful for about a week or 2 when it would squeak again. But, now, 8 months in, the entire tension system has cracked and it makes a screechi...
Read moreng noise when you try to tightened. Once again, we took it apart to find the metal had cracked off (found bits on the floor) and the bolt is no longer is held in. So the magnet slips and presses against the wheel. IT NO LONGER WORKS. Once again I complained and the first question back to me was 'what is it that happened for it to break'. Needless to say, I let them know clearly the quality of their product is what 'happened'. If you look at this part, the hole is off centre so it is very weak just at the tension point. So it was inevitable it will break. Their latest answer? 8-12 weeks for the part to be 'back ordered' At best. I have asked for a new bike ASAP or a refund. (I am on the northern northern beaches, so just when I need it while in lockdown....it doesn't work).Purchased in April 2020 at eBay for $499.00.

A good spin bike at a great price.
I purchased this bike from Appliances Online who equalled a cheaper price that I found. The bike was delivered the next working day which was amazing.
The bike is a friction resistance bike rather than the more expensive magnetic resistance. I use it nearly every day and find it perfectly adequate as an at-home bike. It is of sturdy build, with decent flywheel providing good tension. A lot of spin bikes seem to only suit shorter people but this one would suit most heights. If you are used to magnetic bikes at the gym this is like the ones...

Better our there
No matter how tight you fix the seat it slips - could be dangerous. Computer doesn't link to app either from what I could work out - and no instructions provides - avoid I am sure there are better on the market.
Purchased in August 2019 for $499.00.

Excellent spin bike for under $500
We were looking for a good quality (gym rated) spin bike for the home which wouldnt break the bank. We found lifespan had a special on for the SP-460 model that came down from $600 to $470 (delivered). It was exactly what we needed for our budget of under $500. It has a great computer that tells you your rpm, speed, heart rate and time. The resistance works a charm and the different adjustable heights of the machine makes sure you always have the right posture and comfort level needed to do your work out. It is a heavy piece of machinery which is used to counter the weight and movement of your sessions. A solid build and good product. I would recommend this to anybody looking for a spin bike on a budget.

I own SP-460 SPIN BIKE, I recently noticed that, when I increase resistance above 50%, the bike would spin for a while and suddenly full breaks are getting applied automatically. There is no loose connection, but I brake's are pulled by wheel automatically. I Would like to get your suggestion on it. Please help.

I would contact Lifespan directly and ask for advice. They have an Australian website and a national hotline. They should be able to assist.
You may find that the same metal is broken as we did and the bolt is loose. This causes the magnet to drop and hit the wheel. Have to take it apart to find out though. We are in dispute with them about this

Hi would this bike suit someone who is over 6 foot ? Cheers thanks

Yes it would perfectly. The only thing i found is that a short person may have difficulty to cycle properly unless that person can cycle standing.
The highest setting on the seat is 111cm. Measure from the floor to your point of hip bone.
