Basic website functionality, no tracking, fast email response but not really helpful
Very basic website design, not the greatest experience, annoying pop-ups. Don't be fooled by it saying next day delivery, because that didn't happen. Does not provide shipping tracking information, you need to email and ask for it, however, even after I have requested it by email, I was told that there were "thousands of orders", and that I should receive my items 7-10 days later, no tracking was given.
Now, although the company doesn't meet many of the standard expectations of modern online vendors, the packaging was quite well and it did en...Read more
d up arriving after about a week. I did also noticed that their response to emails was fast before my item was delivered and quite delayed once the item has been delivered. So if you are happy to wait for your item, with no visibility of when it will be delivered, the site sometimes can be quite competitive with their pricing so it is worth considering.1 comment

Tricky Start But Great Ending
This was my first experience buying a laptop online. To be honest the appeal was the amount of money I saved by buying my new laptop online. I decided to go with a Toshiba this time as it had been recommended as a good generally indestructible laptop. Overall the purchase experience with LineLink was fine and my laptop was in my hands in around a week. However, my indestructible Toshiba ended having to be sent back as the touch pad was faulty. After a couple of emails backwards and forwards, I was instructed to contact Toshiba for assistan...Read more
ce which I did but that did not resolve the problem and the laptop had go back which I had to pay the postage for. Then we had a little drama when I was advised the company hadn't received the laptop even though Australia Post said it had been delivered. We got there in the end but not a great weekend as I contemplated a $1500 laptop having gone "poof" into the ether. In the end, I had another go with LineLink and ended up buying a higher spec Toshiba laptop. My only negative was the delay in getting it sent to me. I did have to ask. In the end, I now have my new laptop and I'm very pleased with it. In the end, I'm not sure if I would buy a laptop online again as I found it frustrating not having a number to ring to talk to someone. Emails are fine but only if they are responded to quickly and sometimes this wasn't the case. Overall, I rated my experience with LineLink as ok.Similar opinion? Purchasing
I would like to complain about your recent recent decision to not be able to contact sellers prior to purchase. This makes it bloody difficult. Regards. Neil

Know better, choose better.
People great, delivery awful.
I ordered my tablet on the 24th August. It is now 30th August and it is apparently still in transit only just having left HK on the 28th. After paying nearly $30 for "fast courier service" that is what I expected. Staff answered my questions extremely well and because of that, I ordered from you. If you don't have something in stock you should say so.
Email queries answered fast - except for 'where is my tablet'? one.
Delivery is expensive and very slow. I would have rated Linelink as 'excellent' if not for this.

Eh
Bought a 32" led tv from them. Prices were unbeatable, (talking approx $300 cheaper then harvey norman/jb hifi etc) Ordered on Saturday night, tv arrived friday evening. Only issue with this purchase is their customer service - it just doesn't exist period. Rang them twice trying to find out the tracking number only be hung up on both times, several emails later resulted in them finally answering 4 days later. Otherwise all good.
Cheapest prices i've seen
Customer service is terrible

was easy to use
Prices were reasonable and the web pages were easy to use. I will be trying it more often and will be checking the newsletter from time to time. I hope it does not get jaded over time like the other online sites. That is all I can tell you for now

Satisfactory service poor delivery
I found the information displayed not as I would expect from a firm this size. A better delivery option would be useful. The use of Paypal was great but the choice of using Startrack as the delivery carrier was bad. The response from a feedback query from me was handled well but could have been better.
Use of PayPal was great as it is perfectly safe
The delivery of the purchased item could have been managed better through a different carrier.

Hi dears
I wonder why (DR750-2CH LTE 4G) works only in Australia and Japan, while any GSM cell phone can work in any country in the world?
Based on my career in telecommunications I reviewed the technical data of the Australian operator (the LTE band), and I assume that your camera would operate in other countries as well. Do I miss something here?

Thanks for your message, I can only talk to the suitability of this item in the Australian market, you'd need to contact Blackvue directly. But the modem in this device is only suitable for use with the Vodafone network in Australia.

Barrie, you'll see a confirmation message in your email. Your installation is all booked for today. Thanks again for your business.
Thank you for your quick response, installation done and dusted, no trouble, no fuss, thank you for the service, gladly recommend you to anyone that requires a dashcam fitted, whether one of your own, or one bought from linelink, get a professional from the start, and not a back yarder, who thinks they know what they are doing, yep, my fault, for not getting a professional.

Barrie, as the song says, "you took the words right out of my mouth". In all seriousness, it pays to get your Dash Cam professionally installed. Not only does it protect your vehicle's electrical system but also your Dash Cam. Most notably too, you know your Dash Cam will work when it needs to. So glad we were able to help you and we lived up to your expectations! A big thank you to you Barrie for your custom, we appreciate it!

Richard,
Due to the Corona Virus pandemic there are some delays right across the supply chain at the moment and that is having an impact on all deliveries at the moment. This is due to the reduced capability of flights to transport goods in and out of Australia and similarly, in Australia itself. Unfortunately these delays are unavoidable due to the environment we are in. With most goods that we sell coming from Asian manufacturers our inbound deliveries have been delayed. This coupled with the outbound delays Australia Post is currently experiencing in their delivery network means we, like other dealers are having longer delivery times. Please reach out to us at info@linelink.com.au and we can help you with your individual consignment. Thanks for your business and your patience - we appreciate it at this difficult time.

Thanks for your review Andy. In fairness, for this special deal on Ozbargain we did advertise that shipping would take place on the 10th of July via Express Post. In accordance with that commitment we... Read more
shipped on the 9th and 10th but unfortunately our freight partner Australia Post let us down. Many of the consignments from this special deal took more than 8 days to arrive and Australia Post are investigating the "why" now. Ordinarily delivery is 1-3 days via Express Post and we do add tracking to all our consignments. With this being an Ozbargain Deal it was handled a little differently as it was a joint promotion we ran with Viofo Australia. In any event, we take all your feedback on board and appreciate it. I hope you enjoy your Viofo A129, they are one of our best sellers! Have a great day!
