Just so over this crowd, nothing but hassles
I purchased my second hand honda a while back, and since then they have closed down the service centre they had previously in Ipswich. Since then, it is nothing but a long winded hassle to just get the car serviced. I cannot call the service centre, as the phone goes to a message bank, and yeah, they have never ever returned a call over the last 2 years, so I have to use live chat.
They act like the service centre for other vehicles is some sort of top secret, it takes most of the day spent trying to simply make a service booking, live chat ju...
Finance officer was incompetent. Incorrectly filed paperwork rendering a brand new car uninsured as the he had insured some other car that we had not purchased. Then refused to take responsibility for their mistake, leaving customer with a damaged car and no way fixing it through insurance AND out of pocket for the cost of the insurance of said other car.
Extortion and incompetence
Despite leaving vehicle for probable warranty repair with clear verbal and written instructions that in case they decided it was not covered by warranty, to contact me for authorisation before undertaking any work at my cost, they did work without authorization, billed me for it and refused to return the keys until i paid.
This is both breach of contract and extortion.
The service sheet also says "all tyres at or below 3mm and will need replacement before next service" which is fascinating since i have 5 new tyres with 7+ mm of tread. Cle...arly the service sheet is boilerplate and written without reference to the actual condition of the car! Not good. Thirdly, their quote for my last service was > $1400 but ultratune did the same job for <$500.
