Just negative
I made an appointment waited fot it was given arrogant attitude after having to wait due to them being qld time and i was in nsw so my appointment wasn't at 1pm it was at 2pm. Then was made to feel as though nothing was possible or i was an inconvenience. after having much better service provided from other lenders I've realised they are just not helpful for first home buyers or willing to work with them. Forget the big banks!! These guys rock!!
Professional, pleasant and easy to deal with. Other lenders (namely the big banks) throw unnecessary barriers in the way, where as Loans.com.au made it easy for us to purchase our home.Constant updates of where you are at through their ontrack site so you are informed every step of the way- outstanding!

Was knocked back several times
Living on disability, was knocked back by numerous lenders. Loans.com took the time to listen and consider the facts. Any time there was an issue they would notify me immediately. Their service was fantastic, and the settlement handled without any issues. I wouldn't have a home without them, and appreciate their assistance. Terrible to deal with
Terrible to deal with....after never defaulting a payment for 4 years I asked Loans.com.au for a loan extension which I knew I could service. I asked for an extra 100K and couldn't even get 30K. After quite a few attempts I decided to refinance. Do you think these people would cooperate with the discharge, no. Instead they kept asking me what I needed and telling me they could help me...to late sorry. I've since refinanced and you are not going to believe me, but it's true...I got an extra 110K on top of my original loan and.....IM PAYING $167 PER WEEK LESS THAN WHAT I WAS PAYING WITH LOANS.COM.AU....in my opinion they are there to suck you in then they milk you. Customer service was excellent. Any time I called, I was always treated with respect and courtesy. I didn't experience any unexpected costs, but may I please highlight the following - After receiving notice that my loan had settled, I logged on to the website, and ended up having to come up with two sets of log in details, and about three texts sent to my phone with codes that needed to be input. It wasn't until I called this morning, and was told that I only needed to log on to Smart Money, and no longer needed to log on to On Track. Excellent service, quick and great communication
I have had a mortgage with Loans.com.au for 2 years and have found them to be really good. The pre-approval process was professional, but took only a day. My approval took 5 business days (which in mid 2021 at the peak of home purchasing, was unbelievably good) and the entire home loan process and the app has been a breeze. Truly the most absurd and appalling experience I've had dealing with any lender ever
We wanted to draw upon the equity in our property in order to renovations to our propertyA simple process we've engaged in the past with other borrowers and it's never been a difficult process.
What was required was a whole new loan at an entirely different and higher rate than the original loan.
A completely and utterly absurd requirement.
We now have 2 loans on the same property at different rates.
The process itself was consistent with out experience with Loans.com.au in the past.
A right royal pain in the butt.
My wife organised times to d... Read moreiscuss things with them, but I was the one who they called despite being told several times that they needed to call her and not me. The loan has now settled, but there's no money in our account. We now need to follow up with them to find out exactly where our funds are. Truly, find anyone else to deal with. This lender is abhorrently appalling to deal with
