Convenient & easy.
My customer experience was overall good. I did have a few hiccups which were handled promptly and at my convenience. I have no extra costs and all was transparent at the time of application. I am very happy with the rate I have been given. I am so far pleased with my decision to move away from a major lender.
Great home loan company after poor service from previous loan company.
After changing home loan company due to poor service from Mortgage House, I am relieved to have changed providers to Loans.com.au .
The process of changing home loan companies was frustrating, but the majority of the problems was due to the poor service and bad attitude of the staff at my previous loan provider.
Sio, from Loans.com.au have spent hours with me on the phone, patiently waiting for me to speak to my previous home loan company to resolve issues with transferring funds from my old account, and even offered to talk to my previous lo...an company to sort things out, when my previous loan company refused to talk to Sio and me in a conference call. There were minor bugs with loans.com.au new online portal, but in general, it was workable and convenient. Each time Loans.com.au sends me a message via their portal, I receive an SMS advising they have sent me a message. Fantastic! Very happy with Loans.com.au at this stage, especially paying the cheapest home loan and investment loan on the market, with both loan rates at less than 4%.
Great rate and customer service
I chose loans.com.au because of the excellent rate they offered and also the fact they had no ongoing or annual fees. My only issue is that I would’ve preferred to have loan documents posted instead of emailed & then having to print them. They did post them to me when I requested but it held up the process. I also am not a fan of the app or online system. It’s not very user friendly.

Application and settlement was fast, good customer service and great low rates. The onTrack platform did not work most of the time for me but we got around that issue with good old email.
The staff were professional and informative with all enquiries and questions answered with accuracy and timeliness. There were no extra costs or surprises during the process with all timelines being met or early. Happy with the competitive rate and the online banking. Would like to see phone access to staff extended beyond Monday to Friday to include after hours and weekends.
Fast service and good customer service experience
The service was fast, friendly and efficient. The online process was easy to follow and the interest rates and fees were competitive. I would definitely recommend this service to others.
Very Efficient Customer Service
I recently re financed my home loan. My appointed lending manager was very efficient, professional and more than helpful to fast track any questions or issues that came to light. My finances are now streamlined with a more competitive rate, taking the pressure off.
I would most definitely recommend loans.com in the future.
Quick initial turnaround and competitive rates but will shaft you post settlement
The application process was fine and the rates for new customers are competitive but nothing special. The standout is the quick turnaround on the loan application - 2-week approval and 4-week settlement - which was great. However, 3-4 months post settlement, a new rate was advertised for new customers at 16bps lower because the general marketplace has dropped rates. When I called their loan specialist, they straight out told me that they can’t do anything and possibly the best thing is to go elsewhere but I can’t do that for a few months. Then ...started to tell me of the significant exit fees if I were to discharge. The poor customer service really sucked on top of just pure deceptive behaviour from pricing. I will be refinancing and in this market where information is now more available I am disappointed that these lenders think they can lie and manipulate customers and get away with it. This will go to AFCA for sure.
Pulled my pre and post approved financing from under me at the eleventh hour leaving me financially exposed, I was upfront and honest about every aspect of the property from the first phone conversation. They have completely wasted my time and I'm potentially $55,000 out of pocket with no recourse.
Sham lenders!! Avoid at all costs!
BEWARE! Once they have your business they will screw you with higher interest rates within a few months and then give you lies about 'costs of lending' which is completely untrue as RBA is not changing or is actually decreasing rates...it's just a LIE so they can gouge you for more interest. You can ask for as many rate reviews from them as you like (but they limit it to only one every six months, another SCAM) but they will keep lying to you and never change your rate. Yet new customers always get better deals, existing customers get treated l...ike absolute trash. By raising the interest rate in the first few months they trap you because they know it's too expensive to move lenders again so you are stuck paying more, this is unconscionable conduct and I will be going to the Ombudsman about it, as they offer a honeymoon interest rate to attract business and then force people to pay more. My advice AVOID AT ALL COSTS YOU WILL GET SCREWED AND LIED TO!
