As we had not had a loan for many years, doing it online with minimal personal contact was a new experience for us. Also, to obtain and provide information at times we thought daunting as we were doing through "OnTrack" and we were not sure if we were right or not but, it was easy and really comprehensive

Service was great throughout the whole process however the On Track App was consistently having issues when it came to uploading documents, but we were able to work around that. Otherwise, everything else progressed smoothly. So happy to now be on board and saving a tonne of money. Highly recommend coming over to Loans.com.au if you're serious about securing the best products and saving yourself money. Well done Team....

I used loans.com.au for a home loan. I needed the loan quick due to time constraints and they were very good. Good coms and the web portal worked well. As did the mobile app.

The overall customer service experience was 3.5/5 as it's hard to get in touch with the same person the next time. Calls required long waits. Return back calls either were considerably delayed or were never received. Interest rates are very competitive and would definitely recommend loans.com.au to friends which is why overall score for review is 4/5.

All round easy process and more than happy with the outcome. Helping hand at every step of the way. Friendly and comfortable service. From the outset I did not feel pressured, like some other loan companies I had contacted.
Me and my husband were part of our application . Customer service often rejects my calls saying we had helped her husband with the fact that half information is provided to him . I was not sent all the documents to my account . Was not cc’ed in all email conversations . Technically when two people are applicants they should be provided with same information. * customer service was great along the way with timely responses to questions.
* easy process
* fees were given up front. No hidden charges.
* interest rates are good but there are better out there.
* a few confusing messages that appear to be generic but not necessarily relevant.

they threatened to freeze my account because I fully offset my loans.
they also made discharging my loan so difficult. no forms available online, I had to call them up and go through the rigmorale with their retention process and taking way longer than normal banks. really unhappy with the process.

I haven't received the interest rate received I was promised which was 1.99% for all my loans. There was clearly a mistake on their part as I have 3 loans, all now with different interest rates, despite been offered 1.99% which is also detailed on their website. The loans have now settled and they have basically told me there is nothing that can be done. They have formally responded saying they have listened back to my call and 1.99% was never offered, despite when I initially raised my complaint the team member placed me on hold to listen back...

Very misleading company, its quite annoying that I have to resort to leaving a review like this to try and prompt them resolve the issue. If you don't give me the interest rate we agree which I'm sure you can easily do, I'm just going to transfer money I have elsewhere to completely fill my offset account so that you get no additional interest at all. I have discussed my credit history and the loan details with their so call loan specialist because I don't want any credit enquiry if any issue, she said everything is good to go. I have applied but declined, when I have asked for reason for decline, they are saying as per guidelines it is declined but not sharing any reason. My credit report is being ruin because of their incompetence. They charged for property valuation $220 that no other lender i.e NAB, CBA, ANZ etc is charging. They said will refund $220 but after one week, but why?

From start to almost finish - this has been one of the worst retail experiences I have endured. I have arranged three loans to be refinanced with this crew and the Apps and electronic support have failed (despite several calls to fix it), information requests (typically via the app) have been duplicated and even when messaged have not been removed (potentially slower settlement), the support member allocated to my deal simply doesn't listen. I overpay my mortgage, never miss a payment, and have a large mortgage which is safe due to our professions being government. The application process was a joke - sorry but I would love to know how you people think the admin should be done. Literally took 5 times to get documents sorted - 24 hrs application was over a month - apparently, the software was doing it wrong and it took a team to fix it but only on my profile of our mortgage and not on my husband. I followed up. Although my fixed rate is almost up (about 1% higher than variabke) I will still be charged a fee. They dont care if I leave. Customer care is zero

If I could go back 5 years I would run away from loans com.au as fast as possible. Similar to other customers who've posted reviews of their experience, we were also lured in by their advertised rates only for them to hike the rates on us over the years. We're good customers with 3 loans with them as well as savings of $200k plus & have never missed a repayment. However it seems they don't care about retaining our business, they've not bothered to return our calls about lowering our rates so we've sourced a better deal through a mortgage broker...
