they threatened to freeze my account because I fully offset my loans.
they also made discharging my loan so difficult. no forms available online, I had to call them up and go through the rigmorale with their retention process and taking way longer than normal banks. really unhappy with the process.

Received very prompt customer service from this company. Interest rate is very competitive for investment property. They didn't ask for unnecessary information and processed loan in timely manner with no hassle.

Discharging from Loans.com.au due to very high interest rates. The customer service kept changing originally agreed discharging date accusing another bank. Who is dishonest? Made complaint to AFCA. Trying to resolve discharging issues

I was on the phone today with Emma from Customer Care regarding an interest rate review on my existing investment loan. I was initially unsure of how to open up with my queries ie. what is the best interest rate reduction they can give me?, how much difference will it make to go for other loan setups (var/ fixed)?, am I even eligible to get a different rate? etc etc. So many what-ifs going through my mind and so little knowledge on the topic (I'm obviously not a real estate expert). TBH I was surprised how many options I had and at how easily my options were explained to me. I 100% recommend these guys for giving quality customer service and also for staying competitive.

I refinanced by mortgage several years ago with this company due to the much lower interest rate on offer. However this didn’t last & the interest rate crept up either due to them not passing on rate cuts or occasionally increasing their rate because of ‘addition funding costs’. As a result the interest is now higher than that my from my previous borrower.
It is also significantly higher than the interest rate being offered to new customers on their website.
I have no issue with the service I received in dealing with this company.

We were very apprehensive from the start after being with one of the big 4 for many years...the whole process from start to finish was simple with the "On Track" app...we now have a great rate...if you are considering changing your home loan "JUST DO IT" and kick the big 4 to the Kerb..Thanks Loans.com.au..

Was with them for over 4 years. Horrible rate hikes out of step with the RBA. Then not even passing on the rate cuts. So glad to be out, but they made refinancing difficult.

Fast and friendly. Didnt give me approval and then keep asking for more and more docs like other banks. Was simple online and if you need help they have an easy call line. I cant fault them this was by far the simplest loan I have ever applied for. Was approved within a week and mortgage is ready to be signed and exchanged with old bank. Give them a try Jazmin and Sharney were amazing and helped every step of the way.

Excellent refinancing a few years ago. Very pleased. However interest rate cuts are not passed on and we were left with no option but to refinance with another lender at much better interest rates.

On a Monday I wanted a loan and contacted my existing bank and loans.com.au to get ready for an auction on Saturday. Loans.com.au worked so quickly to help me out, my existing bank only called me a week after the auction has closed (another online lender).
Loans.com.au jumped into action immediately the process was very well explained and the 'On-Track' software made the process very easy, I knew at every stage where I was up to and if anything was required of me. My sale did have its complications but any calls I made to them generally sorted...

The online process was easy and their process throughout has been stress-free. I have now received the loan and their 'Smart Money' app is very easy to use and change the loan based on your needs. Being an online company, I had the best customer experience. It was easy, quick, hassle free and a seamless end to end process. Have actively taken steps to make it more difficult for customers to compare interest rates
Loans.com.au have taken away the ability to view the interest rate being charged on your loan accounts. Previously this was always visible on their online banking platform through the account details section. Now account details shows basic account information but no longer tells you what interest rate you are being charged. There is only one possible reason for the removal of this information - to make it even more difficult for customers to know what rates they are paying and to compare them to the market. I haven't received the interest rate received I was promised which was 1.99% for all my loans. There was clearly a mistake on their part as I have 3 loans, all now with different interest rates, despite been offered 1.99% which is also detailed on their website. The loans have now settled and they have basically told me there is nothing that can be done. They have formally responded saying they have listened back to my call and 1.99% was never offered, despite when I initially raised my complaint the team member placed me on hold to listen back...

Very misleading company, its quite annoying that I have to resort to leaving a review like this to try and prompt them resolve the issue. If you don't give me the interest rate we agree which I'm sure you can easily do, I'm just going to transfer money I have elsewhere to completely fill my offset account so that you get no additional interest at all. I have discussed my credit history and the loan details with their so call loan specialist because I don't want any credit enquiry if any issue, she said everything is good to go. I have applied but declined, when I have asked for reason for decline, they are saying as per guidelines it is declined but not sharing any reason. My credit report is being ruin because of their incompetence. They charged for property valuation $220 that no other lender i.e NAB, CBA, ANZ etc is charging. They said will refund $220 but after one week, but why?

From start to almost finish - this has been one of the worst retail experiences I have endured. I have arranged three loans to be refinanced with this crew and the Apps and electronic support have failed (despite several calls to fix it), information requests (typically via the app) have been duplicated and even when messaged have not been removed (potentially slower settlement), the support member allocated to my deal simply doesn't listen. Loans.com.au attract new customers with low rate to start, but once you become their customer, they will ignor your request for refinance, or provide better mortage rates, or discharge forms request. We signed up with loans.com.au since mid 2015, after one year lower rate fix, our fix rate or variable rate has been always more than 1% higher than the equivilent new customer's rate. We requested numerous time, they would not do anything about it. Upon we request to discharge, they keep delay in more than a week to send out discharge form.......

Paid off 445k loan within 5 years of a 500k loan. As my 5 year interest only loan expired they would only give me a .2% reduction although a new loan would have been .7% less. Basically they don't care about existing customers but only new customers. I have now organised my home loan to go to another bank. Don't bother with them. There are heaps of other lenders that believe looking after their existing customers.

I overpay my mortgage, never miss a payment, and have a large mortgage which is safe due to our professions being government. The application process was a joke - sorry but I would love to know how you people think the admin should be done. Literally took 5 times to get documents sorted - 24 hrs application was over a month - apparently, the software was doing it wrong and it took a team to fix it but only on my profile of our mortgage and not on my husband.
