We previously used a Logitech Bluetooth Mouse M555B which was used on a Sony notebook for some years. When we updated to a HP Spectre 360 notebook/tablet we decided to update the mouse. The M555B had always been somewhat erratic & often lost connectivity which was then really difficult to re-establish the connection, it also was very jerky if used on a dark granite benchtop & needed a mouse pad..
The Logitech M557 looks identical to the older M555B but is somewhat different, it emits no visible LED light & works perfectly on the granite ben...chtop that threw the M555B. So far it has always remained connected unlike the older M555B so things are looking good. It's smaller than some other mousees & fits in the hand perfectly. Also unlike other mouses it has just the basics (no side buttons or tilt) which we find far better. In conclusion: Not the cheapest at between $50 & $60 but certainly a good mouse for the price!
