Bluetooth USELESS unless you have minimum Bluetooth 4.0
Bought this mouse for the Bluetooth tech. It says Bluetooth low energy tech so, to most of us (not tech savvy), it is simply a Bluetooth mouse that we simply connect to Bluetooth on our computer to use instantly.
However, this is NOT the case. When I tried to connect to my computer, the mouse won't appear as a device and no connection. I had to contact Logitech support to ask for help only to receive a very blunt reply pointing the finger back at me for buying a mouse that requires "Bluetooth Low Energy Technology". They insisted that the syst...em requirement warning "Bluetooth Low Energy Technology" shown on their website and on the packaging clearly stated that. Or that the user must install and use the Logitech Options software to check if the computer supports this technology. FYI Bluetooth Low Energy Technology MEANS Bluetooth 4.0 or later!!! Well, it's way too late if I have already bought the mouse only to find out I can't use it on my computer. I specifically bought it for the Bluetooth tech, not for the stupid unifying dongle that takes up one full USB port. If I wanted to use the unifying dongle mouse, I would have purchased something else and not this particular mouse. If they have stated clearly this mouse requires minimum Bluetooth 4.0 on their website and packaging, I would have instantly understood and not bought it. Logitech is dishonest, cheats and consciously misleads consumers using confusing wordings and tricks people into buying their product. What an awful experience and hopefully a warning to other non-tech savvy people.
Purchased in December 2019 for A$50.00.
Best wireless mouse I've used with a nice usable middle click
It took some some time for me to find a good usable Bluetooth enabled cordless/wireless mouse.
This is the best wireless mouse I've used after trying out Microsoft 3600, Logitech Anywhere MX, Triathlon, MX Master. Beats all those more expensive ones.
- very smooth sliding feet, especially if used on a good quality mouse pad
- middle click is easy to click, without too much pressure needed unlike the other mice
- middle click is rigid and doesn't wobble, you can middle click without accidentally activating the side scroll buttons like on some of the other mice, the side scroll buttons need more force
- smooth scroll wheel
- easy to click buttons
- quiet buttons, as expected from a "silent" mouse ...
