Best speaker you can ever find
I bought these speakers on Gumtree for $40 and trust me so far this has been the best investment which has paid me off 10 times more. I have been using these speakers for an year now which has a soothing rich bass and the satellite speakers are incredibly clear. Best while watching a Netflix / Amazon Prime movie to give you that theatre effect. Grab it if you find a used one. I recently purchased another one for $35, again on Gumtree just as a spare.
Best speaker for price
I researched computer speakers about 5 years ago, read all the reviews and went shopping. The best shop was Harvey Norman because they had every speaker set up and you could switch from one to the next easily to compare. The Z4 had good reviews online but I wanted to hear it against the others. It was by far the best set for the price. Nothing compared to it. I paid $125 but I think they come cheaper now, if you can find them. I don't know if anything beats it now but generally manufacturers cut costs and push for profits, so not likely. Newer ...models in the Z series are getting good reviews however. If you aren't concerned about perfect audio science but like to blast the room sometimes, these speaker can do it easily. Great for movies, music and TV. I don't play games but no doubt good for that too. This has got to go down as one of the best ever made (for the money). Sound quality, price, design (what else could you care about?) Hard to find now but even second hand would be worth it.
Best computer speakers I have owned
I bought a set of these about 5 years ago and I cant get over how clear they are. Bass is great if placed in a good spot under the desk. The remote control is handy as it has Vol, Bass level, headphone out and aux input. Some cheaper computer speakers only have volume control in reach and you find yourself crawling behind to turn up/down the bass and swapping cords. It has 2 AUX inputs which makes it handy if i want to plug in my ipod and still keep the pc connected at the same time. Of course as any system has limitations but it defiantly pack...s a punch. I think I paid about $160 back then but its better than paying for a cheaper pair and being disappointed. If your looking for a all round good set of speakers then try them, Im not disappointed at all. Excellent sound quality, compact design, corded remote is very handy. Its a little pricy but for this quality, I don't mind paying.
Good quality speaker
I have used this speaker for more than 4 years. It produce excellent sound both low and high frequency, sleek design and a space saver. It sounds best in a small room with the subwoofer sitting on the floor and the two satellites on the desk. It has a controller which allow you to control bass and the volume separately, and with a extra line-in jack, it is best for playing music on a portable device. Brought it for $85 dollars and its definitely worth the money.
good price for a good quality 2.1 speaker, good sound both high and low frequency and wide range. very reliable.
I paid only $125 for these speakers at Dick Smith West Lakes and for the price I paid I think they are great value, the sub woofer is absolutely brilliant and it's really useful for having the remote being able to adjust the intensity of the base as well depending on what song it is. The gloss is all still good and hasn't worn off or anything since I purchased it. Overall Extremely happy.
After 2 years (touch wood) everything is fine with these speakers, audio is clear and base is brilliant and is good enough for a party too.
