I was waiting to leave with my 7 month and 4 year old Grandsons and was told that I could not leave without a ticket....what I was stealing these kids??? Half an hour after emptying baby bag, etc.. the twit let us out I even said i will call the police and he said do what you have to. Lost the dummy and had an unhappy baby went back and he slowly went back and said no can't find. Never going back again its a shame there aren't more Chipmonks around. NannaTracey from Greenmount.
Absolute rip off
Lollipop is highly overrated and definitely should be banned from running their business. They just way too commercial with horrible service. Food is disgusting for the money we paid. Moreover restrict us from bringing food from outside. It's basically ripping people's hard earned money!!! They should just restrict themselves to the play land and allow people to get their stuff from outside.
It's embarrassing to serve their below average food to our dear friends and family. Food they serve is so bad.
Just a money making business rather give charity than celebrating birthdays over there..
They should close down and stop misusing people's money.
Do not recommend
Yesterday (27the of Feb) I had my son's first birthday at the Carrum Downs centre. Not only was my party host new and untrained but the service was shocking. She wasn't there half the time and also made everyone feel uncomfortable. She also took the cake away even after being told we weren't done with it. Not only that but my 4 year old niece went to go in the ball pit but was very roughly pulled back by one of the older female workers and told that she was too old to be in there. My niece was left so upset that not only was she pulled off the ball pit but some stranger approached her and was very rude! I do not recommend this place at all.
Worst place ever. Not recommended at all.
I took my 4 year old kid and it's overpriced compare to the facilities they offer and an adult have to buy entry ticket so that's just a trick to make money. Staff is so rude and busy doing there own things such as talking and checking phone. I order a sandwich and it took 25 minutes even when they had no other order. Chips refried and over cook. Will not go back again and don't waste your time money and efforts to go there.
Waste of time and money.
On a cold, raining Saturday I decided to take my son to the Lollypops Playground at Majura shopping centre next to Canberra airport. I was so disappointed after paying $18.90 to go in. ($10.90 for my 22 month old and $4 each for my mother-in-law and me). The first area we saw was the toddler area - clearly signed for children under 3 but there were so many children who were at least 6 or 7 years old jumping around on all the small toys. There was no staff to monitor who was in each section or to ask other parents to respect the age limits of th...e section. I spent 20 minutes protecting my son from being jumped on by older kids. We moved to a small area with 2 little pedal cars only to find the were both broken and filthy. My mother-in-law went to order a coffee which took over 10 minutes to be made and was cold and undrinkable by the time it was served. Not enough seating for parents or people not part of an organised party. Very disappointing. The management are missing a golden opportunity to create somewhere that parents would like to go and enjoy taking their children to rather than keeping the bare minimum experience available. Won't be going back and will let all the other parents I know to stay away as well. Will certainly never book a party there. Too expensive, filthy toys, no staff or proper amenities.
Staff ruin my son's 5th birthday party
Recently ,We had our son's 5th birthday party in lollipop cafe,Springfild lakes. After spending a huge money we only got back a very bad experience and a dissapoinment only.Instead of a pleasure we only got back very embarrassed feeling after all in front of our guests. When we booked in a party there, we were told by a one of their staff member, not to worry about the decorations we gonna do it with nice lollipop party balloons and all you have to do is sit and relax in your party. But on the party day the total experience was horrible.no decor...ations at all even a one balloon. Can you imagine how the little one's feel when they enter into an empty party room without having a nice appeal. When we having party at our home we always used to decorate our home beautifuly. This party room looked so horrible and pale like a dessert and no warm feeling there. When we asked them about this we were told decorations only comes with a certain package if you like you can decorate on your own, then it was too late for that., but at the time we booked in it was comes with every package. As a responsible company they should inform their policies very clearly to thier customers ahead ,then parents can arrange alternatives without facing embarrasments.I do not want to go there never ever with my kids or any other people even for a play because I personally feel that they cheat people telling different stories and doing total opposite. The staff was also very lazy and heartless. Can't trust them.
Endless fun in a safe and friendly environment
This play centre is totally child orientated with a safe and friendly environment. We have had several parties at this centre and have not worried about where the kids are. It is open and there are very few places for kids to get lost. The free coffee for parents and the excellent quality of food is also inviting. The owners are very accommodating and also offer free Wi-Fi for busy parents. It can get a bit expensive if you go often however I find the experience enjoyable and my children have hours of fun and never want to go home.
Safe, fun and friendly environment.
Can be a bit expensive and would go more often if a little cheaper.
