this is the worst company I have ever dealt with in life!!!!! do not use them
so hard to deal with the phone custom service team barely speak English and speak over the top of you.
A simple request will leave you on the phone for hours and take days to receive email statements that are requested.

Please never trust this company and their credit card and interest free. 5 years ago in Feb purchased 15000 of stock on 60 month int free with these people and gave them the permissionto do direct debit. Last week i notice they are charging me interest. I called them zero Sympathy to start with. They told me i signed a contract and permitted them to do take out the minimum which is a total lie. I have never been told or shown any monthly figures. They said it is Automatic and the money is taken out automatically. 100% rip off. They do this on purpose to charge you interest at the end. This people are very know to everybody. Please do not use them or their credit card. Look at the peoples rating!

I have reached out to several local and national media stations with this story, have copy's of the letters, emails, statements of every interaction I have had with Lombards and intend to take this as far as possible so people know not to use Lombards or the now new Skye credit card.
I have called several times now about this issue in the past 3 weeks, have spent over 10 hours collectively on the phone to Lombards and am still being harassed daily about an issue Lombards cannot resolve.

Drowned in red tape so that customers can't access temporary hardship for 3 months as per the standards when needed. Disgraceful lack of humanity in dealing with customers who are experiencing a difficult time and need temporary reprieve to avoid real life conseuqences.

This is becoming an absolute joke...blocked out of my online account...on hold for over 45min before I give up on trying to call...never receive a call back...rubbish return emails saying they are sorry and will be in touch...never happens...lm well and truly over this..dose anybody no who we can report this scamming mobb to and get somthing done about this please ?
Horrendous Customer Service
Do not use this company for any financial service. I have only been involved with a credit card service.
I am refinancing my mortgage and urgently required my credit limit be changed so my interest rate would be the best it possibly could. I was "Waiting for the next available consultant" long enough for my phone to run out of battery. I have since read reviews of the past months of 2019 and saw Lombard has no shortage of staff chasing/harrasing customers by phone and email just a mass shortage of staff who wish to rectify customer issues.
Be warned, avoid this company at all costs, I presume this abhorrent customer service will be inherited by the new Skye credit card.
I used to actually recommend this product to customers, it is a really great product. However I missed 1 payment due to moving states and not having started my new job yet. The money was in my other account i just hadn't transferred it. They then reversed it and by that time the remainder of my savings was gone.
Now I've been screwed around by my job and ended up stranded and stressed. This company calls multiple times off of different numbers EVERY SINGLE DAY!!!! They have also sent 2 letters, 7 texts, 3 emails and thats added to the multipl...e calls every single day. Understanding that this is my first mess up with missing the payment, before I could correct it they started the hassling and this was just within the day of missing the payment and within a week of me correcting the issue. Having all of the life stress aswell as being hassled day in and day out by a company and flooded with debt calls, letters, emails and texts it really is appalling. Even if i did need to arrange a payment plan like other people may need to, why would anyone feel comfortable doing so and contacting this company if this is what you do?? After never missing a payment and having been a worker whose company used Lombard, this was insane to notice and I regret ever recommending this to anyone. Missed 1 payment and was fixed within a week but the hassling was frustrating for me, and I can only imagine it could be extremely upsetting and stressful for others in worse off situations or changes in circumstances.

We were talked into their plan even if we had the funds. The annual fee was supposed to be waived and we were told we could setup payments so we’d never get charged interests, at 22.99%!!! On the first statement we were charged annual fee, which they eventually waved after many phone calls.
Then the payments started, and they charged the minimum fee until they could charge their high interest rate. When we rang complaining and explaining the situation, the operator advised he couldn’t do anything about the interests that were already charged....

I used Lombard Finance to pay off a kitchen bought from Ikea. The service was really good, interest free for 2 years. The kitchen was paid off in 6 months and instead of closing the account straight away, I let it stay at $0 balance. One day, I realised that I got charged the $99 annual fee without notice. I immediately called them to close the account and try to get the annual fee back, complaining that there was no letter or email informing me of the yearly anniversary. The customer service had none of it, saying that I should remember the date.
So please be careful and remember to close your account as soon as the credit has been paid off.
I used this bunch of sharks last year t pay off a holiday , I had the entire trip paid off in Janary1 of this year ,thy even sent me a letter to ay the account is closed back in February now these simpletons have sent me a nasty letter saying that they are going t debit 30.00 dollars from my account for purchases and debits ,I have never had a credit card with them ,their customer service is the worst ever rude aggressive Philippines shout at you and then swear and hang-up on ,because of them I have had to change my bank account to get rid of ...them they are worse than those Telstra morons in fact they probably are related to them in some way don't use them you will never get rid of them even if you pay them off fully they are dishonest sharks after money.
