False advertising and then they delay paying back your money after cancellation due to non-supply
Ordered a dining table that was in stock, that was going to be delivered to Brisbane on 10 Dec 21. Confirmed verbally that it was in stock and would be in Brisbane by 10Dec21, and had email confirmations. Paid the money. Now advised that due to an 'inventory error' no stock and might now be delivered after 7 Jan 22, at best. Furious, as was very aware of potential supply delays for Xmas and only placed the order here because they guaranteed it was in stock and their website also showed '2 in stock'. Have now cancelled the order, and find t...hat it will take up to 7 days to get my money back. Now realise that they falsely advertise and then happy to hold your money. Great business model, but very poor for customers. Don't believe what they say or put in writing - I expect they only order stock after they get your money and seemed very comfortable with delays in delivery dates.
Witnessed box dropped from deivery truck onto road and chair damaged. No response to emails and phone calls. POOR SERVICE.
Major delivery delays and poor communication
Don't buy from Lounge Lovers. While their staff and text messages are friendly, my lounge is now three weeks late, with each week being pushed back and pushed back. While my other item was delivered today, my lounge just wasn't included - no communication about a missing lounge, and no information on when it will arrive. Very disappointed.

After purchasing this tv unit through Lounge Lovers I received a link the night before delivery so I could track the delivery on the day product was to arrive between 10am-1pm. One hour out from when the delivery was to arrive I received another text message to say item it is on another truck they will contact you. I received a message to say unit would arrive 5pm which I was going to be unable to be home at this time. Unit arrived after calling customer service with my frustration at about 12:30pm. I paid the $30 assembly fee and after the...team had left I noticed the legs on the right side were on the wrong way and the right door was not aligned properly. I have emailed the photo through 4 times at the request of customer service and also spoke to customer service requesting the $30 assembly fee to be refunded and they can't track my emails down. In the end I gave up.
Shambles from beginning to end
A truly awful experience shopping from this store. I ordered about $8000 work of furniture from this store, particularly since there was a promotion running advertising “free delivery”. It wasn’t til checkout that the fine details were revealed, that free delivery was only to the big east coast cities. I was disappointed that this was not clearly defined in the promotion, but at that point i was invested in purchasing these items so went ahead. I was offered a small discount on delivery but the delivery fee was still over $500
There were at le...ast 3 delays with the manufacturing and delivery of my items. The first 2 times I gave a bit of grace given the state of the world, but by the third I was fed up. I had been living for months without this furniture. Finally they called with yet another delay and asked what I would like to do. Apparently it was only my sofa that was delayed, so they offered to split the shipment up and send me the remaining items. Why was that option not offered to me right away? I said that would be best and asked them to ship the available items. Several weeks passed and I heard nothing about the delivery so I had to follow up. Eventually I received the first batch of items. The quality was hit or miss. There were finger prints in the paintwork of the coffee table. The marble dining table arrived with no assembly instructions and without the screws required for assembly. I was asked to provide feedback on an NPS survey and voiced my feedback as well as asking to be contacted to discuss it. I was not contacted.
Niagra velvet dining chair
It’s a beautiful chair. However in the process of assembling it (attaching the legs) I came into the problem of the holes in the fabric not being clearly defined enough to get the screw in. And as a result I had to cut the fabric to be able to do so! This took me about 30 mins. And as a result I’m quite annoyed and the positive feelings I had upon its initial arrival have disappeared. Very disappointed. As, I shouldn’t have to be making amendments to the furniture!!! Long-time LL fan (got my first couch from there, the tan leather Hugo) but am very very disappointed and won’t be returning my business.
Horrible just horrible.
Ordered in March. They couldn’t deliver to our address so we changed it to our friends house. Arrived in September. They messed up the order and delivered the wrong colour.

We purchased a lovely table from lounge lovers and opted to collect from their warehouse. My husband who is an experienced delivery driver collected the table and we brought it home. After we carefully assembled it we noticed it was damaged on one corner. I immediately called and emailed with pictures. After three weeks back and forth lounge lovers are unwilling to replace or refund the table. I appreciate their point that damage could have happened when my husband transported the table but equally it could have been damaged in transit to their...warehouse. My husband signed a piece of paper on collection but was not instructed to check the goods or that by signing he was accepting the goods no matter what their condition. I feel it is poor customer service and am bitterly disappointed we could not come to a fair resolution. I paid top dollar for a damaged table, very unhappy. I would warn against collecting items and take photos when items arrive and video your assembly of items so you have proof if an item is damaged that it wasn’t you.
Awful experience, would never shop with Lounge Lovers again
I ordered a dining table in June online under the impression that the table was in stock. I was given a delivery date for the following week, only for it to be pushed back by 2 months a few days later. I then changed the table to a different style to get it sooner because that one was in stock... but then a few days before delivery was told I'd have to wait 2 months for that one too.
When I later checked on my delivery date for the new table in August to ensure it was on its way, I was told that the transfer to the new table hadn't happened a...nd delivery wasn't booked... so I'd have to wait weeks again to get the table. The delivery date has since been changed 3 more times. I still don't have the table. When I went to confirm today, I was told that I had 2 bookings (?) and that the first booking was still active, and I now have 2 tables on the way.... A customer service rep has since fixed. I just don't even have words. I would never shop with Lounge Lovers again. Will I ever get a table???? Who knows!
BEWARE - Do not recommend -Delivery Delays on Dining Set
Ordered a Dining set online, with delivery due in 4 weeks. On the morning of the delivery I received a call advising that the chairs would be delivered, but the table is not coming. Assuming this was an oversight, I then learned that table would not be arriving for another TWO MONTHS. Delivery people advised there were no tables at all in stock at the warehouse. So three months in total delivery time.
So here I am with chairs but no table, which is absolutely useless. It is appalling that they take your money and then lie about the delivery date. Incompetent at best, dishonest at worst.
In my experience, I would highly recommend that you do not buy from lounge lovers and instead shop with a more reputable and reliable seller.
Shockingly poor customer service
I purchased a bed frame online and 2 weeks after making my purchase i was advised that the product is available for pick up. I emailed back to organise pick up, to be advised that the product isn't actually at the warehouse and it will be there in a further week. Making a new booking for pick up, a day before the pick up date, I received an email letting me know they have organised stock-take, and the warehouse is closed. Unsure of why they booked this in for a date the warehouse was closed to begin with and why i was only advised the day prior.... Third time lucky, i organised another pick up date. We attended for pick up, only to wait 1.5hrs amongst a large group of people because they were short-staffed (not the works faults, but again, contributing to the lack of service). We arrived home, spent a few hours setting up the bed, only to find that the bed slats were missing. Now, this is an unusable product, that i would like to make note we picked up on the 10/07. Over a month later, I am still having to go back and forth to sort this out. I raised a complaint, and was advised the slats are now at the warehouse and ready to be delivered. Following this up, I was told that was not true, and they were being shipped, with an ETA of 3 weeks for an update. Come to a few days ago, i was sent the 'wrong email for another client' and then advised the order had been delivered. Unsure where it's been delivered, because i still dont have this. The product is great, i will not take that away, but i will never purchase from Lounge Lovers again due to the worst customer service experience i have ever received. People make mistakes, but to be so careless that someone has paid money for a product that can't be used, after 6 weeks of picking up the product, is shocking. Sorry Lounge Lovers, never again, and this is feedback and i will pass to my family and friends as well. Note: I have never left a negative product review, but i am entirely fed up of the treatment and seeing a bed that cannot be used and having to sleep on a mattress.

Continuous Delays for over 8 months
I ordered a couch in January (8 months ago). Every 2 months I'm contacted saying it will be another 2 months before it gets shipped. At the moment eta is October but I'm not optimistic.
I've also had friends order things from here that were badly damaged. They eventually replaced it but took hours of back and forth and weeks of chasing to get it done.
Don't waste your time and month with this store.

Ultra cheap & poorly made
Unfortunately we purchased online without physically inspecting their product. Having paid almost $3,000 for chairs that are not near the quality of anything we could of bought in store from any other retailer. Cheap material inferior timber and construction so flimsy much of our order arrived already broken. Customer service is a call centre somewhere offshore and is a liberal use of the term customer service. Never again
Deceitful and incompetent
Moving out by myself, I ordered a sofa from loungelovers in March for my living room. I opted for the Draper 3 seater in Cuba Bone because the listing said it would be with me in a couple of weeks. I loved the look of the green velvet but I didn't want to wait 6 months as it would be the only thing I'd have to sit on, and without a couch my living room would be pretty much not usable. I paid $1699.
Boy did I make a mistake. I wont bore you with the nitty gritty of the 3 or 4 times loungelovers promised me it would be with me in a couple of wee...ks (at one point even going as far as texting me the couch was on the way, and would be here in a few hours) before the inevitable text from 'Jenny' curtly telling me the couch would not be coming, but suffice to say I was lied to, mislead and let down for FIVE MONTHS until eventually it arrived. That's almost half my lease without a couch in my living room. 5 months that they had my money, and I had no couch. Loungelovers: If a couch is out of stock just tell people. Don't take their money then lead them on for months. And you need to give accurate estimations of when to expect delivery, not continually push it back and back and back. I'm disgusted with this company and will do everything I can to get the word out about them. AVOID. P.s. I will say that the boys who eventually delivered the couch were lovely and helpful, and I don't want this to reflect badly on them.
