Don’t expect to receive your order in time.
I ordered my dining table and 10 chairs in August. I was promised a September 19 delivery date that got pushed back 4 times to eventually October. Frustrating, but we were accommodating and let the team know we can’t have anymore delays as we need to travel 2 hours to our house to receive the order. Finally the week comes and I get a confirmation of delivery - great! They day comes and I’m eagerly tracking the delivery and 20 minutes before it’s due to arrive I get a call to say my chairs aren’t on the truck with no explanation why or when I might get them. Frustrated and annoyed is the kindest way to put this! Don’t order anything from lounge lovers, they over promise and under deliver.
Niagra velvet dining chair
It’s a beautiful chair. However in the process of assembling it (attaching the legs) I came into the problem of the holes in the fabric not being clearly defined enough to get the screw in. And as a result I had to cut the fabric to be able to do so! This took me about 30 mins. And as a result I’m quite annoyed and the positive feelings I had upon its initial arrival have disappeared. Very disappointed. As, I shouldn’t have to be making amendments to the furniture!!! Long-time LL fan (got my first couch from there, the tan leather Hugo) but am very very disappointed and won’t be returning my business.
Horrible just horrible.
Ordered in March. They couldn’t deliver to our address so we changed it to our friends house. Arrived in September. They messed up the order and delivered the wrong colour.
Already delayed twice and now after reading these posts are worried we are going to be waiting months
We ordered on the 27th of July and had a delivery date set for the 18th of September after that got our first delay that said it will be delivered on the 9th of October and now just got our second saying the 13th of November a further month and a half. Surely there is someone we can report this blatant theft of our money to?
I am not hopeful after reading all these complaints and the generic reply from who ever Nathan is will actually bring about any resolution to our problem. Any help would be greatly appreciated

We purchased a lovely table from lounge lovers and opted to collect from their warehouse. My husband who is an experienced delivery driver collected the table and we brought it home. After we carefully assembled it we noticed it was damaged on one corner. I immediately called and emailed with pictures. After three weeks back and forth lounge lovers are unwilling to replace or refund the table. I appreciate their point that damage could have happened when my husband transported the table but equally it could have been damaged in transit to their...warehouse. My husband signed a piece of paper on collection but was not instructed to check the goods or that by signing he was accepting the goods no matter what their condition. I feel it is poor customer service and am bitterly disappointed we could not come to a fair resolution. I paid top dollar for a damaged table, very unhappy. I would warn against collecting items and take photos when items arrive and video your assembly of items so you have proof if an item is damaged that it wasn’t you.
I would not recommend purchasing from lounge lovers
It was my first online purchase with lounge lovers and I was hugely disappointed.
When my delivery was due, I received a phone call extremely late the evening before that my delivery was cancelled without any reason, I was not given any other options.
This is disappointed as i waited a whole month for my sofas and I also took a whole day of work.
I tried to obtain a refund but it was not offered at all.
Management has not contacted me to apologise or give me any other options.
In my opinion if you require your items I wouldn’t rely on your items being delivered.
Awful experience, would never shop with Lounge Lovers again
I ordered a dining table in June online under the impression that the table was in stock. I was given a delivery date for the following week, only for it to be pushed back by 2 months a few days later. I then changed the table to a different style to get it sooner because that one was in stock... but then a few days before delivery was told I'd have to wait 2 months for that one too.
When I later checked on my delivery date for the new table in August to ensure it was on its way, I was told that the transfer to the new table hadn't happened a...nd delivery wasn't booked... so I'd have to wait weeks again to get the table. The delivery date has since been changed 3 more times. I still don't have the table. When I went to confirm today, I was told that I had 2 bookings (?) and that the first booking was still active, and I now have 2 tables on the way.... A customer service rep has since fixed. I just don't even have words. I would never shop with Lounge Lovers again. Will I ever get a table???? Who knows!

Absolutely appalling customer service! Huge mistake purchasing a sofa from Lounge Lovers
I purchased a sofa from Lounge Lovers. I was notified that my sofa would be delivered between 2.45pm and 5.45pm today. As a consequence I took the day off work to receive it.
At 2.45pm I was sent a text message that I wouldn't be receiving my sofa. No reason at all was given except to say it was their fault. As a consequence it will now be delivered on Thursday. Not tomorrow, in four days time.
When I called Lounge Lovers to explain how upset I was that I had taken a day off work, without pay, to receive the sofa, I was put through to an inte...rnational call centre where I was given the run around for half an hour. I asked to speak to a manager and they would not put me through. I then asked to speak to someone in Australia. Once connected I spoke to someone who informed me he had no idea why this had happened and was working it through for me. So, as it stands, Lounge Lovers have my money, and I don't have a sofa. Avoid this company at all costs.

This company does not show anywhere on their site that many of the products have not even left China yet so you will be waiting an indeterminate amount of time
3 delays so far and of course, they just blame covid. There’s really no excuse to keep blaming covid or asking a customer “are you aware we’re in a pandemic?”
Other industries and companies within the industry have managed to adjust to covid conditions so it’s really just a fob off for their false and misleading advertising and lack of organisation and communication.
Currently waiting 2 months if it even gets delivered and who knows if that will happen.
BEWARE - Do not recommend -Delivery Delays on Dining Set
Ordered a Dining set online, with delivery due in 4 weeks. On the morning of the delivery I received a call advising that the chairs would be delivered, but the table is not coming. Assuming this was an oversight, I then learned that table would not be arriving for another TWO MONTHS. Delivery people advised there were no tables at all in stock at the warehouse. So three months in total delivery time.
So here I am with chairs but no table, which is absolutely useless. It is appalling that they take your money and then lie about the delivery date. Incompetent at best, dishonest at worst.
In my experience, I would highly recommend that you do not buy from lounge lovers and instead shop with a more reputable and reliable seller.
They promise but fail to deliver
I am so upset and frustrated with this company for their continual delays and poor customer service. Most interactions feel like you are speaking with a chat bot, not someone who can empathise and understand the effect this is having on my mental health during another lockdown. Do yourself a favour and buy from someone else.
1. Moved apartments in early July and my couch wouldn’t fit up the lift. I need a need couch right now. A friend recommended Lounge Lovers as he got his couch delivered within days. So I go into the store, try a few couch...es, select the one that would be perfect for my living room and then order online. 2. Now when you order online, it provides a dispatch date BEFORE you pay. It said 9 August. I pay over $4k for a Hampton Sofa and Chair and get a confirmation email with a delivery date of 23 August. Strange the delivery date has already changed AFTER I pay. 3. Then the very next day, I get an email saying 'sorry we cant meet the delivery date because we need a few days for a warehouse transfer.' The new date is 27 August. I liked the furniture, I've paid my $4k in full so I figure I can wait and put up with sitting on the floor on cushions for a few weeks. Meanwhile, Melbourne goes full lockdown. 4. So you can imagine being in lockdown, sitting on the floor each day dreaming for the day to come for this delivery. And you can imagine how upset I was to receive an email on 19 August saying the couch wont arrive now until 1 October! That’s three months after I placed the order. If I knew that at the start, I would have ordered from another company that could deliver now. But the armchair will still arrive on 27 August. So I suck it up and know that at least I'll have something I can sit on in a week. 5. I seriously lost my crap when I then got a SMS on 25 August saying that the 'warehouse has made a stock error in our system and that we don’t have the physical stock to fulfill your order'. Seriously? How the hell does this happen when they confirmed delivery just last week? So now I will have to wait until 1 October until my whole order is received. 6. So the options provided by the SMS chatbot is to: a) get a refund. We are in lockdown so I cant just visit a store to try out a couch. And then I have wasted 2 months now, sitting on the floor and ruining my back and mental health and back to square one. b) Order a different couch or colour on the website - I specifically tried and tested the couch I bought. I don’t want to be stuck with a crap couch for the next 5-10 years that I have spent thousands on. They do have the style in a different colour, but said it would be delivered in two weeks….but could not guarantee that delivery date. And with the delivery dates having changed four times already, I have lost all faith that this company can actually deliver when they say they will. If I went with this option I will probably get it after the initial couch delivery date of 1 Oct.
They Won’t Call You Back, You Must Chase
Our couch was delayed a number of times, which wasn’t the end of the world. Our dining chairs managed to beat the couch here, but of the 8 chairs one was damaged and two were the wrong colour. They said they would pick the three wrong chairs up in 4 weeks time! Even though a truck was coming a few days from then to deliver our couch. After having to call them many times they finally caved and accepted they’d take the chairs when they gave us the couch (delivery driver literally threw the slightly damaged chair into the truck, I’d be surprised i...f it make it back in one piece). But unsurprisingly I’m now chasing them for a refund of the chairs with little success. When I asked to be compensated for all the hassle, the woman on the phone offered me $50 store credit, which I declined. She then offered me a free chair, to which I replied “well just refund one of my chairs then, same difference” she then quickly took back her offer and said “sorry I can’t give you a chair” like id come up with the idea. She told me I could have been compensated for my delayed couch, had I complained before it was delivered, but not now. And again returned to her offer of $50 store credit, which I again declined and I don’t plan on shopping with them again. Also don’t bother contacting their social media, they have even less of a clue and will take days to reply.
BEWARE if using a gift voucher
Provide you with a gift voucher and then months down the track send you a letter of demand for payment. Keep all of your records if you use a voucher through this company.
Shockingly poor customer service
I purchased a bed frame online and 2 weeks after making my purchase i was advised that the product is available for pick up. I emailed back to organise pick up, to be advised that the product isn't actually at the warehouse and it will be there in a further week. Making a new booking for pick up, a day before the pick up date, I received an email letting me know they have organised stock-take, and the warehouse is closed. Unsure of why they booked this in for a date the warehouse was closed to begin with and why i was only advised the day prior.... Third time lucky, i organised another pick up date. We attended for pick up, only to wait 1.5hrs amongst a large group of people because they were short-staffed (not the works faults, but again, contributing to the lack of service). We arrived home, spent a few hours setting up the bed, only to find that the bed slats were missing. Now, this is an unusable product, that i would like to make note we picked up on the 10/07. Over a month later, I am still having to go back and forth to sort this out. I raised a complaint, and was advised the slats are now at the warehouse and ready to be delivered. Following this up, I was told that was not true, and they were being shipped, with an ETA of 3 weeks for an update. Come to a few days ago, i was sent the 'wrong email for another client' and then advised the order had been delivered. Unsure where it's been delivered, because i still dont have this. The product is great, i will not take that away, but i will never purchase from Lounge Lovers again due to the worst customer service experience i have ever received. People make mistakes, but to be so careless that someone has paid money for a product that can't be used, after 6 weeks of picking up the product, is shocking. Sorry Lounge Lovers, never again, and this is feedback and i will pass to my family and friends as well. Note: I have never left a negative product review, but i am entirely fed up of the treatment and seeing a bed that cannot be used and having to sleep on a mattress.
