Waiting 9 months for a replacement cover for couch that came damaged. 12 months since purchase
What a poor excuse of a company. They delivered a damaged couch 3 months late. I have been waiting 9 months for a replacement cover. Nothing but delays, and most emails goes unanswered. I just need a replacement cover! Simple enough right? Not for this backyard operation!
The couch cost me over $3000 and I have received a faulty product. I have been wanting to lodge a complaint with the office of fair trading. Every time I threaten to, they say it will arrive in two weeks. Obviously this is a lie, and I am actually going to lodge a complaint ...today. I urge everyone else to do the same. Don’t believe the hype on Instagram with the influencers being gifted furniture. You will wait for the better part of a year before you even get a product. SO SO BAD. Almost every element of $15K order delayed, incorrect or cancelled.
I purchased $15,000 worth of lounge and living room furniture from Lounge Lovers because they promoted delivery times of January to early Feb 2021. Yesterday, after waiting an additional 3 months after that date, with more than about 5 different reschedules and delays - they delivered the rest of my remaining order in INCORRECT FABRIC meaning I now have a ridiculous lounge suite in 2 different grey fabrics. Both were ordered in Bellevue Cement, both labelled as such, both COMPLETELY DIFFERENT. Seems that 'Bellevue Cement' is open to very broad ...interpretation. I experienced 5 shipment date delays, where they were trying to save themselves shipping costs by delaying all my products until all of them were in stock - as the date kept getting moved, and moved and moved. I cancelled part of my order because they could not ship it for 6 months DESPITE saying it was in stock on their website. Every single aspect of my $15K, 20 product order sucked. Do NOT ORDER from this company - its not a case of over-promise, under deliver. Its a case of promise, keep promising, promise again, promise later - then ship everything late, wrong or not at all. Worst decision ever.
Worse product and experience
You should re-consider purchasing from Lounge Lovers. The quality of their products are very poor and their warranty services are worse. I would not recommend them to anyone. You're better off buying from Kmart.

Just received a table that had a broken corner and a large scratch through the centre of the table. Tried to call lounge lovers and they did not want to know about it and just kept transferring me between people.

I don’t know what’s more disappointing – the quality of my Lounge Lovers couch or their customer service (if you can call it that). I bought the Poppy three seater couch in pumice linen online late last year for $1300 (excl. delivery costs) and it became immediately apparent just how poor the quality of their furniture is. Feathers have been constantly coming out from the couch and going all over my living room and the couch itself is pilling but that’s not even the worst of it. After less than six months, all of the cushions have completely lo...st their shape (see included image) and sag so much that the couch is too uncomfortable to sit on. The couch looks like it's sinking in. We are a two person, adult household with no children or pets and the couch has been very well taken care of. Lounge Lovers have completely disregarded my complaint. They sent a technician out to assess the couch who advised that the middle section of the couch had a noticeable change in its structure (faulty) however Lounge Lovers are refusing to acknowledge this and are insisting that this is a result of ‘general wear and tear’ and are offering replacement cushions AT A CHARGE. The attitude of [name removed] , the customer service rep who has been “helping” with my complaint has been dismissive, apathetic and borderline sarcastic during my dealings with her. (UPDATE) After contacting the ombudsman, a phone call was magically received from Lounge Lovers with them offering to replace our cushions "as gesture of good will" at no expense ... these cushions would take another 3 months to received. Ridiculous. We declined the offer and informed Lounge lovers we wished to receive a full refund for a their faulty product and horrible customer service. This has so far been denied. We will be proceeding to the Office of Fair Trading for our money back.

Shocking!! Avoid at all costs
Shocking!! Please skip this sham of a business. If you need an inexpensive piece of furniture go literally anywhere else. Firstly, there was a 10 week delay on my order. Next, they forgot to send the overpriced fabric protector I purchased. It took a bit of chasing to finally receive both.
Within a couple of weeks of finally receiving, I noticed severe pilling and stray threads in the fabric; within a few months a spring burst through the bottom of the sofa. (We are 2 very average-sized people; not heavy). A technician did come to repair this...
