Ordered my dream blue velvet sofa in October 2021. Delivery was expected on 16 December 2021. I donated my very decent sofa with chaise to a couple who had recently come out of a homeless situation expecting the delivery of my sofa on 15 December. Less than 24 hours before the delivery of my dream blue velvet sofa I received notification that my delivery had been delayed to March 2022. The communication is appalling. I asked for a loaner sofa = no deal. I will be seeking a full refund and taking my hard earned cash elsewhere.

Initial purchase - i was happy easy to take my money right...
after 1 week of purchasing i noticed, they inflated their prices during a promotion, and then lowered them back down and began a new promo. i work in this industry and understand price inflation very well, so i called and got my partial refund back as price inflation is an offence under the Australian consumer law.
Then, i try to arrange delivery or collection, and guess what - they released my order to someone else.
NEVER EVER EVER EVER AGAIN - take your money elsewhere.

Buyers beware -No stock and delayed delivery
I ordered the clover marble dining table which was advertised on 17 October 2021 as “in stock” and ready for delivery. First delivery date was set on 26 Nov 2021 then I was informed there was a delay to 8 December 2021. On the night before on 7 December at 7:38pm I received a text message from lounge lovers saying that delivery is now delayed again to 7 January 2022. This is obviously false advertising and we are going to lodge this with the dept of fair trading. We are so disappointed with Lounge lovers and it is unacceptable to be informed th...at delivery is in 2022 the night before delivery due date. I’ve read the other reviews below and this doesn’t seem to be an isolated case. Disappointed how they treat their customers that spends thousands of dollars on their products.
It has been a complete rollercoaster dealing with Lounge Lovers.
We’d looked at other items and dismissed because they were labelled as “not in stock”. We choose the item cause it was “in stock” on the website and placed booking for a few days later.
The night before at 8pm we get a “sorry,.. blah blah blah we can’t make the delivery” we’ve had this call 4 times.
Last week apparently our item was on the road. But no one called, or range the buzzer, I just get a missed delivery notification on my phone “Sorry- we missed you”. I was home an...d waiting specifically for the delivery and watching the truck as it made it's route through stop 1, 2, 3, 4 and was waiting for stop 5! My stop. I’ve tried to cancel the order already but I was REASSURED AGAIN, and told the delivery would happen- no later then the 2nd December. hmm okay. Fine. I'll wait a few more days.
Still waiting 6 months for chairs to arrive
I will never again purchase from Lounge Lovers, online or in store. My dining chair order has been delayed 4 times and the customer service person refuses to provide any further information on my order. Jenny has responded once to my query stating that I’ll have to pick other chairs if I want them delivered before Christmas.
This is ridiculous as I ordered these in June.
The price of the chair has also gone up a considerable amount so I am assuming they want me to cancel my order so they can sell the stock to someone else for more.

Don’t expect to receive your order in time.
I ordered my dining table and 10 chairs in August. I was promised a September 19 delivery date that got pushed back 4 times to eventually October. Frustrating, but we were accommodating and let the team know we can’t have anymore delays as we need to travel 2 hours to our house to receive the order. Finally the week comes and I get a confirmation of delivery - great! They day comes and I’m eagerly tracking the delivery and 20 minutes before it’s due to arrive I get a call to say my chairs aren’t on the truck with no explanation why or when I might get them. Frustrated and annoyed is the kindest way to put this! Don’t order anything from lounge lovers, they over promise and under deliver.
Already delayed twice and now after reading these posts are worried we are going to be waiting months
We ordered on the 27th of July and had a delivery date set for the 18th of September after that got our first delay that said it will be delivered on the 9th of October and now just got our second saying the 13th of November a further month and a half. Surely there is someone we can report this blatant theft of our money to?
I am not hopeful after reading all these complaints and the generic reply from who ever Nathan is will actually bring about any resolution to our problem. Any help would be greatly appreciated

Absolutely appalling customer service! Huge mistake purchasing a sofa from Lounge Lovers
I purchased a sofa from Lounge Lovers. I was notified that my sofa would be delivered between 2.45pm and 5.45pm today. As a consequence I took the day off work to receive it.
At 2.45pm I was sent a text message that I wouldn't be receiving my sofa. No reason at all was given except to say it was their fault. As a consequence it will now be delivered on Thursday. Not tomorrow, in four days time.
When I called Lounge Lovers to explain how upset I was that I had taken a day off work, without pay, to receive the sofa, I was put through to an inte...rnational call centre where I was given the run around for half an hour. I asked to speak to a manager and they would not put me through. I then asked to speak to someone in Australia. Once connected I spoke to someone who informed me he had no idea why this had happened and was working it through for me. So, as it stands, Lounge Lovers have my money, and I don't have a sofa. Avoid this company at all costs.

This company does not show anywhere on their site that many of the products have not even left China yet so you will be waiting an indeterminate amount of time
3 delays so far and of course, they just blame covid. There’s really no excuse to keep blaming covid or asking a customer “are you aware we’re in a pandemic?”
Other industries and companies within the industry have managed to adjust to covid conditions so it’s really just a fob off for their false and misleading advertising and lack of organisation and communication.
Currently waiting 2 months if it even gets delivered and who knows if that will happen.

Cuba Bench order no SO0102435
DO NOT buy furniture from this place.
I ordered the cuba bench on 11 December 2020.
I still do not have the bench, it is now May 2021.
I have been delayed at least 6 times, and now they tell me it will be 3 July 2021.I asked for a refund and they just direct me to the website.

SO SO BAD. Almost every element of $15K order delayed, incorrect or cancelled.
I purchased $15,000 worth of lounge and living room furniture from Lounge Lovers because they promoted delivery times of January to early Feb 2021. Yesterday, after waiting an additional 3 months after that date, with more than about 5 different reschedules and delays - they delivered the rest of my remaining order in INCORRECT FABRIC meaning I now have a ridiculous lounge suite in 2 different grey fabrics. Both were ordered in Bellevue Cement, both labelled as such, both COMPLETELY DIFFERENT. Seems that 'Bellevue Cement' is open to very broad ...interpretation. I experienced 5 shipment date delays, where they were trying to save themselves shipping costs by delaying all my products until all of them were in stock - as the date kept getting moved, and moved and moved. I cancelled part of my order because they could not ship it for 6 months DESPITE saying it was in stock on their website. Every single aspect of my $15K, 20 product order sucked. Do NOT ORDER from this company - its not a case of over-promise, under deliver. Its a case of promise, keep promising, promise again, promise later - then ship everything late, wrong or not at all. Worst decision ever.
I wished I could give 0 score. I Ordered Draper 3 seater velvet lounge on line. Delivery times indicated in 6wks times I even got choice to choose morning or afternoon delivery, which I thought was great service but 6wks became 3 months, 3 months became 6months.
I was extremely disappointed & in disbelief.
I asked for my money back. I got it back. They said it will be process in 3 weeks but I didn’t accept I demanded to be refunded immediately which they did in 2 days.
My advise to consumers only buy products that are in stock from this Com...pany otherwise you will never received. Even in stock I will not trust this Company. The service is very unprofessional I feel they give false promises to make a sale. They sell Stock that they do not have at their Philippines or Indonesian manufactures. They blamed the delays on Covid but If that was the case, I live in Sydney why didn’t i get any delays when I purchased furniture coming from US. Yes I waited only 4 weeks for furniture coming from US. It was around same time I ordered with lounge lovers. My advise pay a little bit more, get good quality furniture, and with that you will get professional & good service. I am now without a sofa I waited 3 months for it.
Worst service ever!
If only the reality lived up to the promise. I ordered a sofabed to accommodate interstate guests end of November. I spoke to the customer salesperson to ensure delivery would occur in advance of their visit (3 weeks after purchase). After three anticipated and planned deliveries, which never eventuated, I was advised delivery would be delayed again. Frustrated as this would mean my guests would not have a bed, they offered to provide a substitute. I accepted gratefully. The substitute provided was an inoperable sofabed. It couldn't open. I can...celed the order and asked them to collect their faulty item. It took them about a month to collect the inoperable item. Meanwhile I ordered a sofabed elsewhere which arrived within a week with no issue. I am still waiting, nearly three months later, for my refund from LL!
