I was very reluctant to use a swaddle on my baby, but he realised how to get out of a normal wrap pretty early, so I had little choice. Love to dream was recommended by a relative & friend, so I thought why not as I didn't know any other brands. I was a little worried when I goes tried the swaddle, however baby loved it and slept very peacefully which was better than when wrapped. We now use it every night and he does not wake up or move around a lot during sleep. It is a bit pricey, but I definitely recommend this brand!

A friend gifted me one Love to Dream Swaddle Up original organic swaddle and I bought another Lite Love 2 Dream as I had a summer newborn (1.0 and 0.2 TOG respectively.) They were so highly reviewed and another friend had highly recommended them. But my personal experience of them was that they are just okay and given the price tag, regular organic swaddles were a much better investment. It really does depend on your baby.

My baby can move around way too much in this, swaddles are meant to make babies feel snug and secure, but she wriggles so much in the love to dream and startles which wakes her up, so i have to say I just dont get the point- only advantage is my baby cant wriggle out of it and therefore i know she wont get cold.

These swaddles are expensive considering they’re only used for a couple of months at most. You can use wraps instead although these swaddles are more convenient.
Problems come when it’s time to resell. Despite it being in really good condition, no one was interested in buying it second hand and the company aggressively defended the photos of their product. Don’t expect to get any money back after you’ve used it for a few months.

love these swaddles...so quick and easy to use..perfect for babies who always come out of their swaddles. The sleeves do get a bit manly due to baby always chewing on it though. There's a double zip so you can change their nappy without taking the whole thing off. I would recommend this as an alternative to normal wraps and blankets.

Used this product for my baby .. Now my baby sleeps good and comfortably and if I know earlier about this I will buy this... and I recommend parents to use this product and get know how useful it is and... Good Cheers Kudos to who invent this ... !!

I have a Houdini baby and at 2 months I was constantly having to try and secure his arms which were waking him up. I had a medium one if these from my previous baby who loved it. He is a big boy so I tried it. He loved his arms up but he has too much room, he could stretch the wrap easily and we were up every hour resettling. So not for a strong, large baby with big startle reflex.

I have used ErgoCocoon Swaddle and Sleep Bag (1.0 tog), Love to dream Original swaddle (older design without the new hip design) and the Grobag Cosy swaddle. Hence the below comparison which I will post on the Grobag and ErgoCocoon review as well.

Grobag swaddle is good as it allows smaller size babies to a decent 5.5kgs before I need to swap to the normal grobag sleep bag. ErgoCocoon allows up to 7kgs. Love to dream has a range of weights but it means you have to keep buying for the right weight range.

My Bub is a Houdini. No matter how tightly or with what kind if wrap we swaddled him in, he ALWAYS got out! The Love to
Dream is perfect for this. He's sufficiently snug, wrapped up safely and can still use his hands to self soothe. He's not constantly wriggling and squirming to unwrap himself.
This is not a cheap swaddle though and the fabric around the top (the wings) wears and stains far too easily. Do yourself a favour and find one in decent condition second hand (if you can nab one!) on eBay. They're worth giving a go if your Bub doesn't have a strong startle reflex.
As soon as the zip closes, our Bub settles some of his fussing and seems much more content.

My 15wk old has had the summer lite since about 7 wks. I have never been able to resettle him when he is in it! He does love to have his arms up and I guess he likes it when he goes to sleep initially, but he flaps his arms around like a maniac and because it's not constrictive he wakes himself up constantly. I was so excited when I bought this as I have tried amby swaddling system for my 10week old baby but they all ended up unravelling at night which is not safe or too many layers which could overheat my baby. But this is the first night I put this on my little girl and she is sleeping through the night! It has enough elasticity for her to move around and self soothe (which can be great for transition) but also quite snug to control the startle reflex. I am using the stage 2 product as I am planning to transition her already before she learns to roll over. I am not sure if the stage 1 is going ti be snug enough for newborns but i find this quite useful and serves its purpose efficiently.

My baby boy was born with marks on his face from having his hands pressed against his cheeks whilst in the birth canal... Clearly he was not going to like being tied down! Great purchase for a newborn but as they get stronger and their arms pull more it pulls against their neck and irritates it. My DD was left with red marks behind her neck where the LTD sits. It's obvious why this happens. The worst is when she cries and pulls even harder.

I wrapped my baby from birth, she is 11weeks, 6.6kg. I bought the size Large (8.5 to11kg, just fit. It doesn't work for her, she tried very hard to suck her fist in her mouth which makes her super grumpy at night. She normally sleeps 7 hours straight at night, but when I used this last night she woke up 3 time... Because she gets tired of stretching. Plus I don't think it's good for baby's arm. We now go back to the traditional swaddle, she feels better. I suggest use this swaddle up product from birth, otherwise wait till baby can roll over then switch to sleeping bags.

We found this great for night sleeping, arms up are a favorite of our little one,it helps with her startle reflex although I use a blanket or light wrap ( depending on the weather) to cover her otherwise she startles or wiggles so much her legs shoot up in the air!

First tried this swaddle when my son was about 8 weeks old, he hated it and would scream and scream every time I tried to get him to sleep in it. I'll admit my baby is a terrible sleeper, so I'm not going to say these made her sleep through the night, but she sleeps MUCH better while in these wraps. They are cooler than swaddling with muslin, and still let her wiggle a little, while containing her startle reflex. For those who have babies who fight being swaddled, these are a great alternative, and even if baby doesn't like them at first, keep trying and they'll come to associate them with bedtime, and enjoy the security they provide.

We love this swaddle. Our bub likes to put his arms up when he sleeps. We initially bought a swaddle that kept his arms down and he would cry and cry.
Swaddle kept bub from waking himself up with his arms. Its great that the swaddle still allows bub to suck his hands. I like that you can use this swaddle in the car seat as it has a slit for the seat belt. Clever.
