After sales support
Had issues with rear bed closing on Glenair, was told I need new actuators which I purchased for $2000 installed and rewired to suit new type of actuator, Oh same problem after a number of calls (which went to voice mail) no response ....... after a month had a call to say it was a wiring issue no help in supoprt to identify as it was no a wire issue .... same problem no resolution in fact I am still waiting on her to call me after her meeting (5 months Now) the trailer is great after sales and support is the worst I have every had .....
Ordered a mount beauty in November. Was told delivery end of December start of January. When the van didn't arrive by the end of January after giving a 5 star review for there pre sale service i removed a star off there review for dangling the carrot and not telling the truth. I then received an abusive phone call from [Name Removed] (the owner) for removing a star and even though I was told delivery end of December start of January like many other customers he then denied telling me that and was very angry at me making me out to be a liar and ...told me he would have never said that date because he knew they could never had them ready by this time and would rather give my money back to me than deal with me. Terrible way to treat a customer you lied to. I am happy they have a 1 star review because the only truth I got was getting my deposit back. Wouldn't go near this company again. The next time you want to call a customer and deny what you told them and abuse them [Name Removed], just think its not good business practice and you will probably end up with a 1 star. Maybe get someone not so hot headed to deal with customer relations. Bought a second hand van and couldn't be happier. I wouldn't go near this company again. December January February March April forget it. Dangle the carrot elsewhere.

not a good experience
We have been looking for a long time to find a hybrid caravan, and were over the moon when we found the sorento from lumberjack. During the sales cycle the company was excellent to work with, very vast responses, even during the weekend. The company claimed that parts came from china, but the construction happened in victoria, this was the first lie. we found out later, that lumberjack is just and import company who resells standard chinese products. After we placed the order, it was impossible to get the configuration confirmed on paper (after...our order, during sales all was possible) and when our personal circumstances changed, we were not impressed that when we cancelled our order even after 3 days of omitting to the sorento we didn't get our 1000 down payment back. We knew this and it was part of the t&c's but still. all communication seized. wouldn't recommend buying from this company, they definitely won't have your back in the long run.
Their service is great... until they’ve get your money! I’ve had nothing but issues / faults. They avoid responding or completing any repairs. Very poor customer service. Poor quality product, think twice before purchasing a Lumberjack!
Unfortunately this company sells faulty and sub standard equipment and the service is appalling. They are liars and are really rude, do not deal with this company if you want a product that works and is backed by the company that sells it.
A good camper let down by poor rust protection
We really feel let down with this camper in regards to rust protection water leaks poor after sales service
The camper its self is put together okay and well thought out its a pity that they just dont build them to last hate to think what will happen if we take it off road
Very very poor after sales service
Do not EVER invest in a company that the after sales service is so poor. Trailer not even 12 mths delivered to us and say it's our of Warranty. Poor
Still waiting one year to be fixed, actuators gone jock wheel gone, Treg hitch wont sit Flush with tow bar, water leaks in front storage, boat rack rivets are not in frame. Keep getting told they are going to fix but then no communication after that, always chasing them.
Once they have your money they dont care about you. Some of the worst after sales Ive ever seen buyers BEWARE
Nothing but a headache
Dealing with this company will do nothing but give you a headache. From the get go have had problem after problem. Seals falling off, stripped bolt heads, quick action pole locks broken, slide out bed sags in the middle so U have to get under the bed and lift it away from from frame so someone else can slide it shut (even the company admitted it is a terrible design), both batteries died before 2 years, list goes on but the worst thing is the lack of help you receive, the lies, the excuses and just being ignored. Especially seeing that I live...in another state they didn't want to know me, tried to let people know about their behaviour on their Facebook page and they just deleted me. So please stay away from this company and take your money to a more deserving company.
Beware Sheoak off road not fit for purpose
2 days into Oodnadatta track and chassis completely failed, first trip in camper not even 6 months old. Is being repaired however this is taking a while. Just do your homework.
Poor quality control and poor service
after 2.5 years of trying to get a very long list of things wrong (some from day 1) fixed, had to resort to the Fair Trading to get them addressed. Promises, promises along the way meant nothing. Canvas replaced twice and every time it goes up more holes appear. Now they still haven't complied with Fair Trading decision. Certainly a case of buyer beware and if you need things fixed (or get the lemon) make sure you have written evidence of discussions. Don't allow timing to draw out. Make sure they stick to any time frames you determine are reasonable.

BEWARE of Lumberjack Camper Trailers
Beware! They have a story for every bad review. Owner thinks he can talk his way out of anything.
Shocking quality even for a chinese product.
9 months old, top of the range, $30,000 worth of cracked, rusty, twisted body, with a saggy tent with hole in it from delivery.
Always stored in a workshop, never been offroad. Done maybe 10,000kms.
Melbourne to Perth and back, then a handful of local trips mostly to caravan parks.
Was sold a "Off Road" camper.
Received and overweight, unbalanced, poorly designed collapsing pile of junk. ...
Very unhappy customers will never recommend one of these's campers to anyone
The worse thing we had ever done was buy from this company. We have had no communication and corresponds when we were waiting for our camper. The communication is now even worse then before we got the camper, as now we are trying to get all the issues we have looked at by the company. Now staff have been told not allowed to speak to us and we can only speak to the manager/owner, who quite conveniently is always either not in or in a meeting.
The issues we have noticed so far:
Gaps and tent not sealed
Skirt doesn't fit properly, leaving gap...
Bad campers all over, and terrible to deal with
I bought one of the allendales, have had nothing but problems from day one, keep being told that it will be fix but no time frame or plan. Eg some problems gas pluming leaks, tent is poorly made and on first tip stated to fall apart. Welding is cracked and there is more. If I was you go else where for your camper don't buy from lumberjack.
Average Trailers, shocking people
Owned one of these campers for almost a year. Everything was fantastic, until they had my money. Sales Manager lied about inclusions and kept making excuses. Being a customer means nothing to them, they will do whatever they have to, in order to keep selling trailers, even lying at the expense of their customers. The trailer was decent, but not worth the pricetag. Next time I'll buy an Aussie/American/South African made trailer.

Does anyone have a Lumberjack Mt Beauty Compact Hybrid? Are you happy with it?
No we didn't purchase. I got no replies and did a lot of investigation and decided Lumberjack had too many bad reviews. We ended up purchasing a second hand 2009 off road Jayco expander 14ft 2 person with internal shower and toilet. Realise that Jayco's probably aren't the best for off road but it was a good buy.
