ALDI Ambiano Electric Multifunction Food Grater Questions & Answers
VerifiedHow do you change grater bits
I need to buy part for the Ambiano multi function food grater. where do I purchase spare parts. thankyou
Can you buy this item Please?
Hi, Was looking this up and came across your message, I am about to list on ebay and Gumtree. Near new one. Not in box but I can put in a box and post or you can pick up if you are near Phillip Island, Victoria. Let me know if you are interested and I will post the link for you.
I don't know how to get the grater out from the device. Can someone tell me how to disassemble the grater?
Rotate the nozzle in an anticlockwise direction while holding the device firm. It would come out from unit easily. Then pull the grater out with two thumbs while holding the nozzle from back.
I cannot work out how to place the grater in the machine. The end of the grater doesn't seem to match the other end. If you could help me, that would be great. No pun intended. Thank you, Margo

I bought this machine but has no pusher . Can I buy one
Where can I buy a spare part?
What is the price?
Can you buy the graters separately?
Hi Sandy,
The model I used to have had the blades included and I haven’t seen Aldi selling them separately. Hope this helps
Are spare parts available?
I’m not sure, best to ask the manufacturer. I have donated my grater a few years ago and bought a more powerful machine as I cook heaps. Sorry couldn’t be more helpful
I am after an electric machine to grind nuts. I have a manual grinder, but I have arthritis, which makes hand grinding difficult. I already have a food processor, so slicing, shredding etc are already covered, but they can't "grind" nuts evenly for baking - or they make them into a paste, if you leave it too long. All these machine I look at demonstrate soft cheese etc, never nuts. So, can you tell me is this one does that?
Hello, I no longer have this mashine - donated to Oppshop and bought a proper foodprocessor. I doubt it will deal well with nuts as you usually need sharp chopping blades for this job. Lumina comes with grinding blades suitable for veg and cheese, maybe chocolate. I use pulsing function of my new foodprocessor to chop nuts, checking frequently to not overprocess. Hope this helps!
Try the magic bullet. I crush my almonds in there for biscuits. Also great to make juices out of any fruit or veggies. Just press for a few seconds 3/4 times. Bought one at good guys October 2025 for $99.00
I would like to know how to get the grater out of the shaft I dont have an instruction book so am at a loss as I dont want to wreck my machine as I am pleased with what it has done so far thank you Heather.willey@gmail.com
Just a bit of a wiggle will usually do the trick.
If the the spokes that hold the grating cylinder have been bent (by pushing down on the food too hard) it may take more work to getout.
You can download an instruction book - just google it
How do you clean it?
In the top shelf of the dishwasher.
Itś all plastic & stainless steel, so doesn rust.
(not the base unit of course)
Thank you sabella. I cannot get the unit apart to get to the blender parts, any clue? I do not have any information sheet with it at all.
Hugs
Maisie
