Still waiting for a partial refund
I bought 2 items and returned one and asked for a refund. The buying process was fine and was delivered in good time. After returning one item I received and email to confirm the refund was being processed. After a couple of weeks I checked my Paypal account and noticed nothing had been received. After contacting them they said the money had been refunded (which it had not). After emails back and forth they said it would be past onto the finance team. Its been over a week now and still no answers. Frustrating!
Refurbished product without original packaging, slow delivery
I bought an Apple Pencil $25 cheaper (after postage) than the Apple store price. Product works fine, however, it was not brand new, without original packaging. It looked like a refurbished one but this was not mentioned in the ad. It was delivered from HK and took more than 3 weeks. Customer service was just okay. Responded a few times to my email but never intended to tell me what was happening when I was inquiring about my order. It was also extremely hard to get hold of someone when I tried to call their number. In general I got what I wante...d but the fact I got a product not brand new and the slow delivery and the mediocre customer service is not a great experience from buying from MacFixit Australia. I don't feel this company is trustworthy and will not buy again from them.

Macfixit appears OK but delivery system wasn't ideal. Great customer service resolving issues.
Ordered a Bookbook for an iPhone 6S. Price was good, order went through just fine and order was dispatched the next day. The down side: the Auspost service is terrible and I have still not received my item - despite it apparently being "delivered" 2 working days ago, and no response to my query. I know it's Easter but, seriously? Sorry but if the service provider for delivery is terrible, then this reflects on Macfixit. Use a different company or only allow delivery with signature from the recipient.
Macfixit were very responsive to feedback...and rang me to follow up on the non-delivery. Materials had been returned to sender as they were incorrectly addressed. Once returned to sender, the re-delivery was fast and efficient. Love finally having my Bookbook!

Design Flaw Clam Case keyboard
MacFixit promoted the new Clam Case Keyboard for the iPad Air at $189. I bought two. When the units were still in transit they reduced the price to $159 (a $30 reduction). I had to cite Australian Consumer Law 2010 to get a refund from them.
Then we discovered the Clam Case Keyboards for the iPad Air will not take any earphones other than Apple's ear buds that came with the iPad Air. Clam Case call them ‘headphones' - they are not headphones - they are ear buds. I need proper headphones for my work. Bought two of the things - and now i can't ...
