Beautiful dresses but the customer service could have been better
Beautiful dresses, however I find it strange how you cannot take photos nor even have a second appointment to try the dresses on again to determine if you're sold on the dress. It's a lot to pay for a product you've only tried on/seen once. The consultant was more concerned with telling my guests what to do/say than answering any questions I had. There was a lot of sighing when I asked my guests to show me a photo of another dress I had tried on elsewhere, so I could compare, due to the no phone policy. The consultant also wouldn't even tell me what size I was trying on for me to be able to determine if the dress was too small or simply just a snug/uncomfortable fit, despite me asking multiple times.

I researched a lot of dresses online before deciding to email MWL about trying on “Billie”. The staff were extremely helpful via email and booked me in to their Sydney boutique. I wasn’t bothered about the fee I think that is fair enough, especially if you don’t end up buying a dress, which I didn’t. The dresses I tried on were so beautiful but I felt ugly in them. They are designed for gorgeous people with perfect skin and bodies and I didn’t fit the mould. I am a size 8 and felt fat trying on Billie which shows off every single curve. This ...brand is not really for the “real” bride..it’s for the girl who is already gorgeous and looks like a supermodel and will just look better on her wedding day. That’s why you’re not allowed to take photos and post them on social media (not that I was going to). Sorry MWL but you need to take a leaf out of Halfpenny London’s book in my opinion if you want to place yourselves in the world market for REAL brides making real people feel beautiful

Beautiful store and dresses, but i was so disappointed with the customer service, and won't be purchasing a dress from here purely based on this this. I was rushed in and out of my appointment with no follow up. No photos allowed, and this was voiced in a very abrupt manner, told not to touch phones. I was told that there was no follow up appointment, and that i had to order within 2 days or i wouldn't be able to order my dress (11months out from my wedding). I understand dresses can take an extended period, but a f...riend purchased from here a few months earlier and her dress arrived in half that time. I was told not to call if i wanted to purchase, just to send a text as she would be too busy with other brides. However she was on her phone throughout the appointment. Dresses were quite large on me (which was understandable, as you can only stock limited range), however no clips were used to help you see or understand what it would look like. The lady also stood in the room as i got undressed each time to make sure i didn't take photos. Such a disappointing service.

Good afternoon! My daughter is looking at the Scottie. I am concerned about alterations due to the fabric. Is it even possible to alter the length or the waist given the lace fabric?

The dresses are made in Australia and I don’t believe the material is sourced from China.
