Pool is PERFECT, service not so much!
The pool is amazing, no regrets as the family love the feel of the water, in and out. When working pool maintenance is a cinch but what let’s the total package down is lack of customer support.

perfect water for swimming
In summer used daily, maintained regularly with no problem nice water , no trouble in servicing it, we love it though bit pricey , it is worth it , will never go back to traditional chlorination

Lots of problems that no one wants to help us with
As far as the feeling f the pool water it is glorious and I truly love it but we have over a period of 6 - 8 months noticed that our grey pool is turning blue in places and white hole marks are appearing on surface of pool. Narellan were the installers of the pool and they say it is the chemicals the has caused it. The pool cleaning and chemical services are adamant it is not the chemicals but the finish of the pool. We have had the pools just over 2 years and are deeply disappointed as Narellan won't inspect the pool even though we have asked...
Read more. We are aged pensioners who love our pools and as this is our first Magna pool are bewildered by the lack of concern. We have reached a dilemma as "He said She said" mentality and we seem to be going around in circles. We would like to take this further but where do we go from here. I wish we had just purchased a standard salt water pool so we would have not had these problems.
Taste of the water

We have had our Magna pool for a few months now and the water tastes disgusting, everyone that swims in the pool comments on how bad it tastes.

Magnesium part is fabilous. MagnaPool control centre failed after 3 years.
We converted our saltwater pool to a magnesium pool in July 2015. Very happy with pool. Water feels soft and silky, leaves no sticky residue on your skin and pool has been easier to maintain. However, the MagnaPool control centre and cell are another story. The equipment was more expensive than other brands but we chose to install the complete MagnaPool/Zodiac system. The equipment warranty is 3 years. Toda y - 3 years and 5 months after installation - the control centre failed and needs to be replaced. Yes product worked well - until it fa...
Read moreiled - just outside the warranty period. So if you have a spare $2500 to spend on your pool every 3 years, choose MagnaPool. We have complained to MagnaPool and are waiting for a response. However, we are one of many in this area whose MagnaPool equipment failed around the 3 year mark. Any product that just makes its warrantied period before it fails is not good. Would recommend you look around at other brands of controllers.
Great pool system
We love our Magna pool. Wonderful soft water and never burning chlorine eyes. Don’t mind the taste of the magnesium either. Pool water is always clear and inviting.

I’ve just had an hydroxinator iq installed with a new magna pool and it was working fine but now for some reason the clock resets itself to 00.00 each day.
I now have to reset the clock to the correct time each day which is very annoying!

I recently had my magnapool water tested at a local pool shop, they told me i needed to add abag of slt to the pool. I have never been told to do this before & when i questioned him he said maybe just add a bag of minerals instead.

I have never been told to add salt, I’d get a second opinion or look up zodiacs help line and call them, sounds like a pool shop who has no idea what Magnapool is. The magnapool compound contains salt and magnesium sounds like bad advice to me

I have owned a magna pool for 11 years and I can't stop the controls from beeping saying add more mineral. It does not need more mineral everything is good. The pool shop said they do have a total hours and you need to reset this. Do you know how to reset hours for this please.
