At last one that works.
I had a Bosch sander for many years - an industrial model.
It failed after many years of hard work.
I saw a Ryobi and bought that on the guy from Bunnings recommendation.
The first one failed after a little bit of work and was replaced under guarantee. It was superceeded so I had to pay a few more dollars for the mid range model - the paper device that clamped the paper broke after the guarantee had just expired.
I bought a Makita despite the recommendation to buy a Bosch as it has Velcro paper contact. Sorry I don't want to rush to the store every time I run out of paper. I use my own paper I buy in rolls.
Now I have been using the Makita I am more than impressed. It is quieter, does not shake my arm off and DOES THE JOB perfectly. I could not be happier. The price was about the same as the Bosche and I didn't bother to find out about the Ryobi.
Is it dearer than the others - I don't know or care. It works perfectly and clamps the paper perfectly.
