best all round saw

i bought one of these used from a hire place, 10 years on its still the best saw i have, its soo good i purchased another so i could have different bar set ups, the power to weight is fantastic, and it can be used all day long without wearing you out..easy to fix and very dependable....makes stihl and husky look like cheap chinese knock offs....if you can find one buy it before i do.....

Purchased in September 2011 for A$290.00.

I have owned only a poulan 42 cc prior to purchasing this saw. i had to fell a 50 inch wide 100 foot tall swamp maple and i knew it was time for a bigger saw. I looked at all of the options, Stihl Husky ect. the Dolmar Makita was by far the most impressive. built like a tank and i found one new for 400 AMERICAN. Good deal, my second choice was the stihl ms 360. The price of a Stihl in New York is ridiculous. BUy the Makita i don't think it is possible to be unhappy
Absolute beast i will take the Dolmar over anything outthere. Remember Dolmar is the first gas powered saw and it is easily noticed when put side by side with the competition.
