    Rubbish

    published

I bought a makita kit one year ago -
The hammer drill suddenly stop working -
The warranty doesn’t cover the damage . I’ve to pay again to use the tool otherwise it’s just rubbish .
    Waste of money .

Purchased in July 2018 at Sydney Tools NSW, Alexandria for $1,099.00.

Does it work under load or are you saying it doesn’t. You shouldn’t put much more weight on it above the drills own weight. Use a good drill bit. It’s a great tool where there is no power but if you have a bunch holes for 12 or 16mm rio I would use something like the HR3200.

I have a DHR 202, used not often but brilliant when needed. Try to use it today, battery all good, drill light working but would not go. It would only have had a weeks work over the past 2 years I have owned it.
    Please help.

Check the fwd/reverse switch. It wont run when stuck half way. Try a new fully charged battery, and check the battery status. A low battery can have enough to run the light but not enough to run the drill. If all else fails call Makita or the store you got it from, faults do happen. Mine still runs just like new.
