THE WORST MAKITA THAT I'VE EVER OWNED..
I often once wondered how QC of Japanese quality Makitas's would be effected once they became involved with Chinese production short-cuts.. Well unable to choose any-longer here in AU between those two nations when buying Makita's & wanting to finally eliminate chords with a complete 18V Skins system - I purchased the Makita DLS211Z Brushless 18V 305mm SC Saw, hoping for the same performance as from my 35yr old 240V 1212 SC Saw. What a Big mistake!!! 1stly on opening the box - unimpressed with flimsy packaging then finding that the clear plasti...c Blade-Set BROKEN.... under the heavy saw, then within two months RUST developed on one of the RAILS.... finally only 2day I was unable to adjust the tilting angle it FROZE in the 22Degrees & wouldn't budge.. Now it's been left with SYDNEY TOOLS KOTARA to sort-out.. I'll be expecting some formulaic excuse.. & there be NO OFFER of a understandable REFUND as I would like with this DISAPPOINTMENT...
