Brand new vehicle with damaged wheel
Paid for a brand new vehicle, received a vehicle with a front passenger damaged wheel, after numerous phone calls, emails & meeting with manager still hasn't been rectified after 2 months. With evidence of their negligence the next step will be Vcat court.
Terrible Customer Service from the Car Service Department! WILL NOT BE RETURNING!
I had absolutely terrible customer service, from Tracey in the service department. She was so rude when I called and had to reschedule an appointment, I couldn't believe what I was hearing. Once I got off the phone, I decided to call another car dealership and book in with them, because I never wanted to be spoken to the way Tracey spoke to me ever again.
Bad customer service
A very bad experience. Sales people were condescending and down right rude and pushy. They made you feel terrible when attempting to negotiate the price. I would never go back to them or recommend them again. After a followup call asking when I was coming back to sign a contract (we didn't even get to a firm price), I explained my experience which the reply was if we can help with anything in the future let us know. I again explained why I would not be back. Two days later I got a call from a different sales person asking when I would be back...never.
I had a very good experience unlike the previous posters but a friend of mine knows the owner. I told them what I want and what my budget is and they advised me accordingly. They didn't pressure me into buying a more expensive model or any extras (I did buy extras but I asked about them).
The car is excellent, the customer service and the whole experience were also great, I would recommend this dealership.
Would not recommend this Dealership
I have bought from plenty of Mazda Dealerships before and the experience has always been pleasant. This is the exception to that. The "sales" staff are fine to deal with and are a bit more tolerable. But the big shot "Business manager" is a tool to say the least. Very condescending, Uses high pressure sales tactics, Tries to intimidate you and bully you into a car that you DONT want for a price the HE WANTS. Fortunately I have a cool head and don't really fold under pressure. So it didn't bother me as much as it should have and I walked away fr...om the deal without hesitation. But I can't help but think about how many people the Business manager [name removed] has done this too and ended up bullying them into a sale. A complete idiot and very unprofessional. If I didn't walk out and let him barrage me with condescending comments (For eg: "Look mate. I'm doing you a good freakin deal here but you're being difficult.") The situation would've escalated and I would be sitting, writing this from my jail cell. AVOID THIS DEALERSHIP AT ALL COSTS.
Will never buy from this dealer ever again. Not After this experience
When negotiating a deal to buy the new Mazda 3, I was told in front of my daughter that the services would cost $300 at every 10,000km intervals. After paying a deposit and going back to Max Kirwan, ready to pick up the car and book in its first service at 1000kms, the story had changed. I was now told that the services were not $300 but instead, were different prices at different intervals.
I feel cheated and disgusted that I was lied to in front of my daughter. I could not cancel the contract otherwise I would lose my deposit - even thoug...h I was lied to just to get me to sign the contract. The dealer did not care if I was upset or not- he just wanted the cheque and told me I would lose my deposit if I didn't go ahead with the purchase I have learnt my lesson. I will never buy another car from Max Kirwan again and will definitely be spreading the word of my bad experience.
Don't ever buy from them
The delivery manager yelled at me because I wanted to pick the car up on a Saturday as agreed with the sales person. Said it can't be done and I was in breach of the contract.
I complained about being spoken to rudely and the poor customer experience and was told my the general manager of sales (Pierre ) that I didn't get bad service or a bad experience.
I got roof racks on the car with I was assured are compatitable with another brand of bike carriers by the sales person. I asked 3 times during the sales process and told yes each time.
Not The Best Customer Service..
The seller was ok even though I felt harassed and didn't have much time to think and felt pressured on the whole process. The manager's approach was sort of intimidating, he spoke really fast and I felt stupid when I had to ask him to repeat things again, I hardly could understand him. I just bought a new Mazda CX 3 and talking to one of my workmates he said he had a very bad experience with them. I'll pick up my car next Wednesday and I hope they won't make me wait for 3 hours as they did with him to give me my car keys and hope that the selle...r dedicates time to explain the car details. I was offered finance but I made the right decision and talked to Bankvic and got a better interest and no fees. I bought the car already and the one that I wanted and deserve but if I could go back I'd go to another dealer, maybe I didn't feel intimidated and could get a better price.
Product is perfect but customer service is terrible.
This has been by far the worse experience I have had with buying a new car. The sales manger was rude and quite arrogant when speaking to me. He spoke to me through a glass wall sitting on his chair and yelling and screaming over the wall. Being in customer service myself this was unacceptable and down right rude. Secondly the finance guy told me that I wasn't able to afford this car. It wasn't a "sorry sir we've done the sums and it doesn't look like this car would fit your budget".... More like, "you can't afford this car you need to get the ...cheaper one" ( I actually got into the original more expensive car in the end.) Adding to this I was trading a car in it was a late model European and word for word was told that the car was worth nothing and wouldn't get anything if I sold it privately. I was told by the finance team that they have competive finance rates. I almost fell off my chair when told the rate, which clearly wasn't close to being competitive. After hours yes hours of negotiating we got it down to a more resonable rate. The only reason why we bought from them was the price of the car, otherwise we would have gone else where. Fast forward to the delivery, I was given a very very brief rundown of the car, given the keys and off you go. No complymentry gift, no photo, no welcome back. Every other new car we have bought we've been given things like keyrings to an umbrella. This is the first and last time I will ever go to Max Kirwin Mazda and would never recommend friends or family to them, wouldn't even recommend people I dislike to them. My recommendation is to steer clear and find another dealer that would give you the customer service you deserve. The product (Mazda CX5) The customer service.
Do not buy a car here!
The general manager at Mazda Preston in Victoria is not returning my $1000.00 deposit. My contract was signed by myself, subject to finance...i was then taken to the finance team to sign the finance contract.... The finance staff member had mislead me about the rate, no cooling off period and also the hugely inflated application fee! When I questioned him he went mental... Slamming things on his desk, muttering, ripping up the contract in my face!!
I immediately, calmly stood up and said I want to cancel my contract...it's been four days, t...en phone calls, over eight emails, four days of vomiting, not sleeping, ans headaches and tummy pains... It has been hell. You hear about bad car sales stories, but you never think it will happen to you :( the used car and finance manager both agreed that I should get my full refund.... But the general manager won't. Do not shop here...please..it has been the most horrific experience :( Lies, deceptive, read all contracts before signing,
